this is a football game i mean football like you play in highschool when you run the ball and get a big run it feels like that this is slopy but give it time it will be great
ha ha i just played the demo man only a retard would buy this stupid crap ha ha ha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@Jaguar_Shade I also played the demo, and you are right on most points, but still, I haven't had that many oddities, and the fact that this is a first-timer, I had no problem forgiving the game, and generally just laughed. I really think this game has a lot of potential, and the demo did nothing against that thought.
After playing the demo I lost a bit of confidence in this game. The movement and omg wow bullet time factor was nice, but the strategy and tactics of the game were virtually not to be found. Add to this strange happening like the OFFENSIVE blitz falling face forward and going *splat* and ball carriers tripping over their own feet. Its feeling very much like a novelty.
I like how you can use the right analouge stick to use diffrent moves, it really adds to the whole feel. Might be the first sports-game I buy, ever. But I'll wait for reviews.
i havent liked any football game since i played tecmo super bowl when i was a kid. i played the demo for this and hot damn its just as addicting. ive actually been keeping an eye on this game since the release of GTA IV. thats when i first experienced the euphoria engine and it blew me away
Loved the demo. There were a few small issues with controls, but overall a solid effort that should attract the attention of all football fans. And thanks to the Supreme Court, we can now hope that they can work out licensing deals with all 32 NFL teams for Backbreaker 2 (although league structure and schedule would still be an EA only thing for a while).
Based on everything i've read on the gameplay approach; Franchise ideas; and even the gameplay mechanics using Euphoria, I have to admit that i'm looking forward to this game. It definately brings in new ideas and a refreshing new feel to a football game. Especially for those guys who look for more than just graphics in a game. It's about the total package. Even without the NFL License you have to give these guys credit. Let's not forget it's their first attempt at a football game and it looks like a good first try so far. Only time will tell how people react to it in June.
Yikes!!! What's happened to the release date listed here? I was hoping to own this within a matter of weeks? As for this demo? I'm still looking forward to HEARING those tackles come clattering down :) If these guys have worked as hard on their sound effects as they have their presentation and use of the Euphoria engine, then I expect those same take-downs we've just seen here, are going to smash and rattle like thunder
This looks great, if you like arcade type sports games. I for one don't like the look of a bunch of robots running around the field. I'm sure this won't be horrible, but if you want to keep on playing it for more than a week, good luck finding the depth to keep you interested.
the demo was great. A lot of Depth to the gameplay, yet simple for quick pick up games. This has amazing potential.
I was hoping it would mention you can set which player you want to defaultly control in the options menu. This saves valuable time before the snap. Some people didn't know this, including YouTube's RyanMoody.
