Avengers Infinity War SPOILER Review: Most Ambitious Superhero Film Ever!

Avengers: Infinity War is Marvel Studios' most ambitious film yet, 10 years in the making. Chastity and Ryan tell you why it's truly one for the fans, list the best moments and team-ups, and give their predictions for Avengers 4! (Caution: SPOILERS!)

It's out! Avengers: Infinity War is in theaters and it is changing the Marvel Cinematic Universe forever. Naturally, that leaves a lot to talk about. If you've come here for spoilers, you're in the right place. However, it cannot be stressed enough that if you have not seen Avengers: Infinity War, you should stop reading and watching this spoiler review immediately--check out the spoiler-free review, instead. Otherwise, it's your own fault that the MCU's secrets are about to be spilled.

After 10 years and 18 movies, it was clear that Marvel Studios had a game--changer in store with Infinity War. Chances are, though, nobody quite expected the massacre that unfolded throughout the movie--and all at the hands of Thanos and his children. It's heartbreaking moments like seeing several fan-favorite characters turn to dust that make this a Marvel movie that will reverberate for years to come.

After all, if Peter Parker (Tom Holland) crying for his life didn't move you to the brink of tears, do you even have a soul? The gravity of this moment is due in large part to how the MCU has built all of its characters, including Thanos. The idea of a big purple space monster coming to take over the Earth sounds silly at first. However, between Josh Brolin's work in the role and how he was presented in this film, the Mad Titan is shown to be a credible and truly horrifying threat to everyone.

Likewise, the film mostly did a good job of striking the right balance with the insane number of characters it had to juggle. Still, there were some that could have used more time to shine--essentially anyone from Black Panther.

There are things the movie could have done better, though. There were a few instances of bad CGI, especially where the Children of Thanos were concerned. Additionally, some of the jokes didn't land as well as they could have.

Still, overall, there's a lot to love about the movie. Don't believe that? Take a look at the in-depth spoiler review above.
