Assassin's Creed Unity - Experience Trailer 1
Creative Director Alex Amancio presents you the technological leap which will allow you to live a unique experience in Assassin's Creed Unity.
Looks like they're finally getting back to actual 'Assassin's Creed' instead of this pirate yo-ho mumbo-jumbo they've done just recently. Though Black Flag was a good game for the most part, I'm glad they're moving on and getting back to the core and roots of AC. It's been a long time since I've been this excited for an Assassin's Creed game, and it just might deliver.
As much as I like the AC series I'm hoping this one feels new, like a start from scratch. and something a bit different. also lose the whole modern day storyline.
What's next, Hitman multiplayer? "You and 4 of your friends are taking on highly secured target in tight security area! "...
Man that's looking pretty cool. It'd be even cooler if Ubisoft weren't trying to cram it down our throats.
The best thing they've done with the game is focus it solely on current-gen consoles... Can't wait to play this.. Sounds like a leap forward (rather than the steps they've been taking recently)
I hope they delve into the real cause of the French revolution instead of just taking what they get from history books which are extremely inaccurate.
Anyone who knows what the actual cause of the French Revolution will know what I mean.
I just want them to fix the goddamn clipping. AC4 looked amazing on PC, except for all of Edward's gear clipping through his coat. Irritating as hell.
Wow, this 'tech' demo looks just as amazing as the Watch_dogs 'tech' demo of E3 2012. Now if they can only show the 'released' game footage and show just how graphically downscaled it would be...
The game looks decent, and I'm interested in how the control mechanics have changed, especially if landmarks are close to 1:1 in scale, that means a *lot* of climbing. So I'm curious as to how much faster the traversal will be, and how easily it controls. The animations look fluid, and pathfinding looks smooth, but I remember all too well how irritating other AC games were when your character went off in an unexpected direction because the controls were wonky.
The large crowds, fog, and open buildings are all welcome changes, though. And finally, an AC game where the female character models don't look creepy!
Yeahhh right new this new that next gen and bammmm!!! downgraded graphics in your face because ps4 and xbox one are not what they say they are !
Maybe the decapitated head is a bit too much...... :-( With a good game like AC gore should not be an emphasis point.
@Ayzed also lose the whole modern day storyline.
Absolutely. As someone who's only ever dipped into the AC franchise I found the modern day sections of Black Flag tedious and out-of-place.
@mkeezay22 What's that then, how the froggies had skint themselves teaming up with America because they were being bitter against Britain as usual?
So then some rich powerful froggies pretended they was poor to do some rabble rousing against other rich powerful froggies they didn't like, inventing an early form of Bolshevism, just to finance yet another war effort against little old England......that of course culminated with yet more miserable failure at Waterloo a couple of decades later hohohoho
France, what a pointless pit of bitterness and hairy women!
@erik_r_nelson I never noticed the female characters looking creepy in Black Flag. Maybe I just had my eyes closed when I looked at them.
@ajmal21382003 Given how rampant decapitation was during the era - with carrying the severed heads of nobles and political opponents on pikes plus the guillotine - it would be really odd for them to censor it. Demonstrates the brutality of the time period quite effectively
@ajmal21382003 a decapitated head was nothing during the French Revolution..it was a brutal part of history
