Arno breaks into Notre Dame Cathedral to reach his quarry, using Assassin's Creed Unity's new parkour and stealth systems.
Did you enjoy this video?
Frame rate problems and crowd glitches need sorted, but this looks like what I wanted from AC games from the beginning of the series.
I'm excited about Unity, its certainly a step forward in turning this Warrior's Creed back into Assassin's Creed. On the other hand, its not the great leap forward that I would have loved to see. But I guess I gotta try and be happy with what I get!
Also, I'm new around here and I don't know why my Avatar is not updating. I added a photo to "Avatar" and "User Profile" in the "Avatars and Backgrounds" in Edit Profile. But its been over a day and I still have this grey nobody as my Avatar. I would appreciate any help!
Looks like this is what AC 3 should have been in the first place instead of that Connor / Kenway crap. Except Ubi has milked the crap out of AC. One major turn off for me about Ubi is they show a game in detail and then end the video telling to pre order so you can get the cut content they plan to sell as DLC. GTFOH with that noise, I'll wait for a bargain bin pick up instead.
I wish games would at least try to not be super unrealistic, like taking down an enemy while the other enemy just on the other side of a pillar maybe 3 feet away doesn't notice :). I understand they don't want it to be highly difficult, and that's fine, but they could just make small adjustments, like re-positioning enemies so the game at least plays out in a more believable way.
I'm not targetting ACU really, many games do the same thing, that part in this video just reminded of the issue.
did they mention Altair in the beginning (1:35)?
I just hope that the city is as fun to explore as Venice was in AC2. The recent games were fun but the cities were lack luster when it came to post end-game exploration.
for next gen experience I am surprise that AC still hasn't realistically mimicked the way a normal person walks up and down the stairs. although uncharted managed that sine ps3. funny thing is if they did figure it out they would probably convince us that this was not possible with last gen.
This is like an AC version of Hitman. Awesome! This is looking like it could be the best in the series, even better than AC2
Love this series! This one looks like it's gonna be just as good as the rest, if not better. I just hope the narrative is continued well, especially for the modern day setting. That's one of the unique bits that's always kept me coming back for more. Please don't fail me Ubisoft!!!!!
Looks pretty good. Will probably buy it, bought all the others so :) I just hope my PC can handle this, AC4 already gave trouble on lowest settings though that can also be because of bad optimization, Ubi isn't really known for their good PC ports.
there's no denying that's graphically it looks amazing but its still the same game play that hasn't moved on at all. Iv played all the assassins creed games up to black flag but don't think i can be bothered anymore
haystacks in a church? The f***?
somebody put this on youtube..i hate the lag on my computer lol
I really hope this game looks this good at launch
@6:40 in the video -- I kind of hate the way games always do this now, hand you easy kills in the beginning of missions ... It would be more fun to open the door and see you actually have to react quickly or change plans suddenly... as opposed to walking up behind some clueless and hopeless NPC thats already got their back faced to you.
nice.. really nike these type of missions reminds me dishonored only that here I don't like the many hud/mission popups they kind of break the immersion.... gonna tweak the settings :)
haystacks in a church. for gods sake!!
Does anyone else find it really distracting that everyone in France apparently has a British accent?
Ubisoft+PC=Fail. Won't buy it.
What else were you hoping for?
@justbefahad U have to make sure the image you choose as your avatar meets the resolution requirements of its respective category. if u already did, then try once more.
@HipHopBeats Show support please
Yes. Apparently there will be some tributes to him. Still my favorite assassin, ironically.
@GLOK1132 Venice and Jerusalem are my favorite AC cities.
@hammoud I liked AC2 and liked Ezio. I thought the only worthy charming successor is Heytham, Would have been great if AC Rogue was about him
Of course Assassin's Creed will always be Assassin's Creed, but it is far more advanced from its predecessors in terms of stealth, parkour, customization, mission progression and dynamics, combat difficulty, etc, etc.
New parkour, more appropriate use of eagle sense, lots of option, no auto-fail stealth missions, seamless indoor and outdoor exploration
I totally agree with you
The gameplay hasn't changed at all
@Chr0noid It's for the Nativity Scene. :)
@snake3rules well.... he didn't kill him :P now you can knock him out with every weapon (here Alex had the hidden blade equiped)
@k0k066 yeah I was gonna say, all HUD elements can be disabled in the settings
@LeRougeau that bothered me as well
Been to France and never once heard anyone yell "Blimey!"
@LeRougeau They should have put french accents in english.
@STrugglingFool and that is because??...... I guess far cry and splinter cell blacklist on pc were fails
@snake3rules @justing16 lol
@Vizard666 @LeRougeau I agree it really takes you out of the immersion of the game..but they should have some time to fix it.
@k0k066 AC4 and Watch Dogs weren't exactly good PC ports, FC3 and Blacklist worked pretty well though
@Vizard666 @LeRougeau Game is still great nonetheless. Im still going to buy it becasue it deserves my respect as an AC fan
