Ubisoft: Releases a new Assassin's Creed. "Stop Milking the Series". Releases a mobile game that's entirely different. "Too different and has nothing to do with AC."
If it's fun doing sea battles, I really don't care about the license unless the forced story detracts from a simple tablet pirate game. In that case, I'll just go back to playing ships in my bathtub.
After all this is a mobile game with an impressive graphics and casual game mechanics, exactly what I was looking for... cant wait to play it
I love the AC series as much as anyone but maybe Ubisoft should try making something new for a change.
Assassin's creed: Pirates, Assassin's creed: Tomatos, Assassin's creed: Pasta, Assassin's creed: Pie, Assassin's creed: Cops, Assassin's creed: Firefighters, Assassin's creed: Soccer, Assassin's creed: Golf.....geez how muck milking ubisoft will do with assassins creed?...
Thank you for ruining one of my fav franchises of all time Ubi.
Smartphone AC?...milk more.
Ezio and Altair are rolling in their graves.
Why would an assassin care so much about treasure? Ubisoft is really a joke. Just make a solid pirate game already instead of relying on this shitty franchise.
Uggh... Backstab was A Proof That Assasins Creed could Come on Touch devices... and Run Well ... Why not Port Liberation to the Tablets ?? !!!!
@RicanV I couldn't agree more! People are never happy!
@mr_azim It's for Android devices and iphone, not VIta
@DaneGamer Do you wannt Just AC2 in different Assassin and setting?
Ubi need to make new things in new title. and they do!
@DaneGamer The prologue, where you play as Haytham, was probably the best part of the game. Seriously, so much easier to get to like that guy than his bastard son.
@DaneGamer Revelations was the best assassins creed
@Imperiusmax Has Watchdogs escaped your notice?
@drodriguesaar you forgot Assassin's Creed: Zombies
@Dictatroll No they did that when they saw cononr, now they are making themselves the living dead to take out the templars who clearly have there hands on AC
@cboye18 While I get your point about the franchise, you do realise computer games are just that, computer games, they are not meant to mimic reality and why on earth would anybody want to play a realistic game? That's why I cannot fathom why GTA V is getting so much hype. It's trying too hard to mimic reality, like your character being able to buy a house, go scuba diving, go hiking etc. They're turning GTA into the Sims by the looks of things.
That said I do wish Ubisoft would do away with Assassin's Creed and make a real Pirate game. I don't like the fact that this Edward Kenway doesn't look remotely like a Pirate.
@toddx77 it was combat
@19James89 Phone ? Calls ? Texts... ?
what The Hell are you talking About ?
@19James89 I still have that one. only messaging and calling. why to spend 1000 on some good tablet while you can enjoy in games for same price on better pc. :)
@mr_azim No, it's not a new concept, but it is a new game which is different to Assassin's Creed.
@Dictatroll I'm done with the franchise. They can cast back time and go back to Altair days and it still won't appeal to me. There's plenty more games that I want to play like Watchdogs for instance. A new IP and one that I am looking forward to playing.
@Dictatroll They're trying to keep the franchise alive because it's a money maker for them, but I do agree, AC III just sullied the experience of AC for me. I didn't like AC III at all, it was just so far removed from what the game was originally about and there was virtually no stealth in AC III whatsoever. They have reintroduced it in this game, but it's too little, too late for me. I am bored of the Assassin's Creed franchise and won't be buying AC IV.
@Fia1 Exactly, all of these individual devices and multimedia forms can coexist peacefully together. Nothing is getting replaced by anything. Tablet gaming is a seperate entity from handheld gaming just like home console gaming is a different entity from PC gaming.
@19James89 Console gaming IS phasing out PC gaming. It's happening slower than anyone expected, but hey, newspapers are still things, too.
And yes, tablet and smartphone gaming is only going to get bigger. There really isn't much of a market for handheld outside of that and Nintendo.
@t3ero2zero Very true.
However the nonsense being spouted about mobile and tablet gaming replacing handheld gaming and being a threat to home console gaming is as ridiculous as the analysts who said console gaming would phase out PC gaming.
