I am so psyched about this game.the world has improved so much and the ocean and islands are beautiful as well.the characters are amazing, they have awesome personalities and the voice acting is great.i like that ubisoft has put so much emphasis on the naval open world.the thing that i like the most is that they have made the main character a brash cruel pirate assassin and not the old assassins like Altair, ezio and Conner who were never in for themselves.but I'm so glad that Desmond is gone because he was a lame main character.
I see tht many ppl fail to get the point of this new AC. Yes, we've always known our main protagonists to be disciplined, thoughtful, patient and stuff but we need to get that Kenway is DIFFERENT and he was made like this on purpose so give the guy a break. Yes, the Creed was always about cloak and dagger but history has proved that a big boom has the same effect as a swift knife's edge, two side's of the same coin. And that's exactly the approach in this game, a complete "rethinking" on the Creed's way of operation.
Yes, I'm also skeptic about this game, about how Ubi will get this to work out cuz a great game is define not only by it's characters and story. But hey, it doesnt hurt to keep an open mind. Besides, we're all gamers and that's what gamers do. #KeepYourMindOpen
seems like AC III with more ships and pirates. I hope Ubisoft use this engine for a fantasy game for a change ... even watch dogs look like AC with guns ....
that trailer actually made me excited for the game,
no dubshit no obscure popular song from 3 years ago
nice instrumental intense movie shit, focus on character, not on plot, good stuff, more of this please in every trailer u make ubisoft.
"Defy Order" was written on a black flag at the end. The Assassins NEED order. Not imposed and forced order, but the order of the Creed and the wisdom to understand the Creed as Altair learned. I wonder if this defiance of order will be central to the story.
If done properly this could be THE best pirate game this generation... actually of all time. I've always wanted a proper pirate game and this game is looking to sate my desire. I'm seriously anxious to get my hands on this now!
If the series is to survive on the new generation systems it needs to evolve and so far I'm impressed pirates of the Caribbean plus underwater exploration have my interest peaked hope it doesn't disappoint otherwise you can kiss the franchise goodbye after the uninspiring assassins creed 3
cooler then ever but i'm more interested what happened with Desmond and what is going down in reality world. the last AS ending kinda sucked.
Idea for game No 10287: Game is like Assassin's Creed, but in space, and then comes guy in robot costume who is Ezio's tetra-grand-son....
Looks like this franchise is getting further and further away from its roots.
I really liked the first AC, bought the 2nd on a bin sale and didnt care much for it, then the series just spiralled downwards imo and I havent had any interest in any of the AC games since.
But this could spark some interest - even though, or maybe because, it seems to stray pretty far from all the previous releases.
Will see the reviews and the gameplay vids and then decide if it earns my money.
@Araiz222111 I agree on your point about Altair and Connor... But you just don't say that about Ezio. We're yet to see such charisma that the Italian assassin had in many games including Assassin's Creed.
@nasser_m200 cry me a river
@HipHopBeats They just hurt more and took longer back then
@HipHopBeats Tattoo's are nearly as old as mankind itself.
@Gruntlock I was thinking that. Heists are everywhere now. :P GTA V, Theif, Black Flag.
@amdreallyfast The CREED in the AC series has all but gone.....There use to be a time all of your gear was taken off you for being an arrogant prick, now you are rewarded. The brotherhood has lost what made it good.
@JoeGamer1234 I read that the water combat was actually an add-on to ACIII that wasn't considered at first. It has now become the most iconic thing about this game. Fingers crossed, but I'm hoping it brings back the excitement of the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie.
@Fia1 That's just how they do trailers...you know, to get the mainstream COD fans to play their game too.
@Fia1 u pretty much summed up call of duty
@ExplosiveChorro no offense but this has to be the dumbest post here.. How can u go from the 1st ever AC game and end up in the last one expecting to understand squat? It's like just starting middle school and ending up in a college's classroom expecting to understand what's on the board. -___-
@ExplosiveChorro It's just an adventure plot about a man ascending the ranks of pirates for fame and fortune. Who then finds out he's descended from a long line of genetically-predestined assassins... and that he's really some chump from the future in an animus, which is magic time travel box kinda like Dr. Who's tardis. What could possible be simpler? Oh and something about aliens.
Yeah, ok that's pretty messed up. But it's got boats in it. O-oh look at the sailing. Ah mollusks.
@ExplosiveChorro why don't you play all the other AC games or read about all the other AC games online, like wiki, that tells the stories and events that leads to AC4 instead of just playing the first AC game and not playing the others and asking wtf does AC4 has to do with the story
@altairdarius ....if u played ac3 then u shud know that desmond died. that story arc is done. youll have to play this game to find out the new real world story arc...that tends to be how entertainment media works...you dont know what happens till u watch it or play it (thats kinda the fun of watching movies or playing games...u dont know what happens ahead of time)
@Pelezinho777 so whats your problem as i see it its been long since any decent game came out
U sir are a pessimist, I dont care how cool u think it is nowadays to hate on everything, but it ISNT.
@Sir_Cess I don't get idiots like you, who like the first one better. They have all definitely gotten better as they have gone along. I played number 1 after finishing Brotherhood, and as much as I liked it, it was a hell of a lot less developed, and the voice acting for Altair sucked sucked. Number 2 was a proper sequel.
@Leignheart Even though I love history myself, we do not play a game to only learn history, we play to have fun and AC3 wasn't with all Ubisoft's broken promises as usual, I hope they keep them for this one...
You shouldnt call someone an idiot because they have an opinion and mislike something u do like. If your a proper chap u will learn from this and not do it henceforth.
