I am wondering what version the graphics here are taken from. While I think the game will be a lot of fun, and I have it pre-ordered for PS4, I think the graphics are looking pretty weak here, even for current gen consoles.
I hope those fights are a tutorial thing. I'd hate moving around while people attack me for no reason, sounds tiring.
Looks great. Cannot wait to play it in glorious 1080p on my monitor with my headphones on.
The sign on my door shall read: "Do not disturb, Animus in session"
Got to see this and play this at PAX Seattle few weeks ago. By far the best looking game there on a console. Very detailed, real time ocean simulator, Next Gen graphics, awesome game play, real world living environment. Easy day one game.
I like assassin's creed series but black flag would be the best in assassin's series regardless of assassin's creed 3 it was the worst in the series
ARRRR yee seadogs. What really rocks my boat is the HAIR! I know im nitpicking but come on, how long are we going to have to deal with those crusty hairdos? I know the last tomb raider on pc has tres effects by amd and that was wayyy better but I still feel like it should be more realistic. When we look at someone their hair takes up a lot of real estate usually so lets put some effort into developers!
All i want to do is sail the sea and Make my crew sing !!!
So we can earn extra on the side on Weddings and Parties
Just let me trow my cash and get it now jezus let me ruin the start of my School halfyear not middle/end ^^
1. so in every new island i need to kick some ass before obtaining the service ..stupid
2. eagle eye lost its touch with looking at a lot of water rather then epic buildings
3. under sea not so appealing
4. best part naval battles
Would be cool when your not under water if you loot something a cloth roll bag appears on your back to give you the sense that he doesn't shove everything in his underpants
Various types of weapons are absolutely useless in the AC games as the only difference between the weapons are the animations..the only AC game where the weapons didn't feel useless was AC1...the inventory was limited but the greatly encourage you to use all your weapons as the combat was quite risky as well.
I do believe enemies are falling too easy for unnarmed attacks (and I didn't understood quite well how that punch-opening chest works).
And the eel...well...everything about the eel.
That water looks amazing, though.
I love play this series and I play it all from AC first and complete all missions, including find all hidden objectives. But now I'm going tired.
Is AC will ever going to end and Ubisoft make another project?
Everything is awesome, but the new main character, ''Edward''
He is really lame and i dont like how he is dressed and his voice
Just don´t like the fact that, when he´s being attacked by multiple oponents, some of then just wait to attack... This is a problem that is commom to all the series.
I just hope the story is long, awesome and doesn't limit you in its missions (like AC3). Apart from that this looks good, only complaint is that combat should be a lot harder like in first AC, you're an assassin...ie, kill main target and GTFO, not slaughter everyone in the base without taking a hit!!
the main does look alot like Health Ledger/Charlie Hunnam. Using stealth and corner grabbing dudes to knock them out, I hope there is an "I am Sam Fisher" achievement!
AC's AI has always annoyed me with the standing around waiting for you to finish with an opponent before attacking you, love the exploration and storys, hate the combat/AI
They should go back to the old days of climbing big, majestic buildings, not swimming underwater and wrestling with eels. Combat is getting worse; he's OP even with fists. OP!
lol, the aggressive eel scene made me laugh. Sadly, I can't care for this game. All of the new additions are too insignificant for a game that I have already played.
Rarely does a company completely overhaul the franchise, instead of making a near identical sequel.
@pidow I took a big whiff and my dog farted below me :/
@Dark_Matter1337 No he doesn't.
@Dark_Matter1337 I was actually going to log in and say the same thing
@7imgamer Black flag would be better if it wasn't apart of the Assassin's Creed franchise and let's face it, Assassin's Creed stopped being a stealth, assassin styled game after the first game.
It should have been a seperate entity with the character actually resembling a Pirate and not Ezio.
Nice try, troll.
@sujith12 Assassin's Creed has never tried to teach anyone about history, so I don't understand why you have made that comment?
@Navardo95 I agree, the musket in AC III was terrible to use.
@Dreamagus Depending on the enemy type various attacks does not work, had he tried to disarm from the brute for instance you would have been pushed back.
The punch opening chest animation might not be very natural, but it's quick wich is good cause you are proapbly gonna see it alot.
@DBlaze889 Assassin's Creed will end when it stops making Ubisoft a handsome profit. Sales from AC II to Revelations was falling by about a million units per release, but AC III pushed up sales by around 2-3 million copies which has just given Ubisoft the green light to carry on making this franchise on an annual basis.
Also they are releasing a new game called Watchdogs which looks very interesting.
@DBlaze889 Never gave shit about that and the collect feathers and shit was retarded hated it its stupid and i hate it ...
Here i hope they don't put 100 feathers and if i find it while exploring its fine with me but dont make me get it to get a family cloack that shit looked awesome and i hated the experience
@Pheonix985 nobody is hating on this bro
@maccaflu not quite , in AC III there we're times when 2 or 3 enemys attacked at the same time and you countered them all. so it's likely they took to account on putting it in AC IV .
@Sardinar It's a double-edged sword. People want a franchise to make overhauls and often when a company makes the overhauls, the fans get upset i.e. Dead Space 3 for instance.
The problem with Assassin's Creed is the annual releases, annually released games will leave gamers of that franchise with gaming fatigue.
This is why Rockstars blue print is so successful. There has been a gap of five years between GTA IV and GTA V, with two smaller games sandwiched in the middle.
Also Rockstar through leaving a five year gap has been able to take all the successful aspects of the GTA series and make innovative changes and improvements. Just by watching the trailer of GTA V, it feels like a totally different experience to GTA IV and that is why GTA V will probably sell more units than GTA IV which has just surpassed the 25 million mark.
@Sardinar Its called moray lol, and which game did you actually play? hope you don't really mean AC3 cus I don't see how this masterpiece is "identical" to the sequel except the battle and ship system (which was highly improved and perfected this time around)
U ain't no pirate Sardina, u ain't no pirate.
@Kevlar101 Never read them and if they tried to teach gamers a thing or two about history, they wouldn't have painted the Redcoats out to be a bunch of bambling idiots. Had they stuck to their history, then Connor Kenway would have been killed on sight by the might and the precision of the Redcoats.
