Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag Next Gen Walkthrough
This technical walk through shows off next generation texture, lighting, particle effects and more!
People still play on PCs???!!! Just kidding. As well as it probably is, you have to take in the consideration that games no longer cost 60 dollars, more like 1000 dollars for all the upgrades and replacements you have to do in order to play it better. As much as I love PCs, I'm simply not that dedicated. I favor simplicity. Good luck if you have PC versions, I hope you get all that you put in for it.
So is the PC version gonna look like this next gen version or the current gen version. Cause i don't trust Ubisoft...
Instead of showing off, Ubisoft should better be working on a patch to prevent Assassin's Creed 3 from freezing and crashing every ten minutes on PC!
Looks great but the shine in AC games is really starting to irritate me now. You know how each person, building or object glows when you look at them or pass them. Urrghh, I cant continue AC3 because of it. Ruins the natural feel of the setting.
Looks great, but we really need less cross platform games so Ubisoft can focus on making a real Next Gen Assassins Creed only on X1,PS4 & PC
I don't get why people attack ubisoft for making annual installments of AC. It's fine by me as long as they put as much work into them as they do and not just release the same game year after year like CoD.
Wow...I've always thought of this game as an utter shit. But after seeing these visuals...I'm definitely NOT BUYING !!!
@Pheonix985 What? games are far cheaper for PC, at all times.
Also why is it that most console gamer's opinions that i read or hear, including yours, even if you arent one, share the silly belief that you NEED to upgrade a PC? its quite dumb.
If you dont want the benefits of more power, the solution couldnt be more simple, just dont upgrade, and play the games at console quality or at 30fps or lower the resolution a bit, thats it.
In fact, i think if we make proper calculations, (sorry but im lazy to do them now), this is just a guess, but im pretty confident buying a good PC at the start of the console cycle and then upgrading MAYBE your video card once, would be far cheaper than getting a console and buying games that are more expensive, plus you probably already paid for a basic PC so you were going to spend money in it anyway.
@Pelezinho777 No crashes or freezes for me. Just my savegames get corrupt every once in a while so i have to make frequent backups.
@SantosoRulez Don't wait then.
@luciann yes with Sony logo on it
@edviges what about watch dogs?
@Quarkzquarkz who said this technology will not be in the pc version?
@Quarkzquarkz it should be
@razor_rj You have to get the special Dedpet edition, where you get a dead parrot in the box
@Dictatroll yes, but then AC2 came out and changed all that
@Dictatroll I am currently playing the first game again. And I remember why I fell in love with it. It is by far the best put together Assassin's Creed game.
@cboye18 AC multiplayer is lame anyway, so I could live without it. But I'm a PS+ subscriber either way so, no loss here.
@Supabul or dump PC platform for 3-5 years so that mainstream ($400) PC's can catch up
A good sequel is one where you find the good and bad points from your previous game and improve upon them in the next one, and maybe even try to innovate and push your game a bit further. Most of these design decisions happen before a single line of code is written, when the developers are brainstorming ideas, and it's based on feedback and lessons learned from the original game.
When you start development of a sequel before the original game has even been released yet, this design idea simply doesn't happen. And when you are being limited by time(since it has to come out in a specific time frame), you will never try a big game innovation, since it will take much more time to do. So eventually all you see are tiny bits of improvements(if any) instead of a proper sequel.
Sure it could be enjoyable, but you always get cheated out of seeing how the franchise can actually evolve.
@Luunaa The problem is since Ubisoft have gone to a annual game, the quality has dropped massively. Play the first AC and you will see what I mean.
@LADIES_MAN_2013 Jesus Christ, is there anybody that didn't have any issues with that game?
@GLOK1132 I hear you. The first game felt like they had an Order of assasins (with discipline, hierarchy and obedience), later on it became a brotherhood
@Pelezinho777 @LADIES_MAN_2013 I didn't. I mean..At least with the game freezing and all. No, I was the most unlucky. You know why? Because the controls were unresponsive. And what made me even more pissed was that it happened while I was trying to do a perfect play-through. If I wanted him to just slightly move forward on a ships mass, he'd jump off! I guess I was unlucky enough to get it on launch date.
@edviges what do you mean? we've done AC 4 times in the same generation, GTA once :O
@edviges What??!!?!? You've already done GTAV?!?! Pics or it never happened!
But honestly, I will take a dump before launcing infamous... just in case... you know, so I won't shit my pants
next-gen doesnt apllies to PC. Is a term for consoles only. And yes... I agree with you. MGSV (I forgot this) should give you that feel.. but not BF4... BF4 it's like I say..been there.. done that...
@edviges lol, I think MGS V should give you the next gen feel when its out, and possibly BF4 though if you have a good PC for BF3, you will have already experienced it.
