I really like this series i know the story is kinda bad now but really combat system i still play this bcoz there is so much freedom in this game.
I wasn't sure about this game after how the last one turned out, but the trailer's got me interested again.
I had three of these games and hated all of them. Too much of this timed bull shit that really had nothing to do with the story. In 3 the part where you are suppose to kidnap some dude in 40 seconds before you get seen is a joke.seeing as you don't know where the guy your supposed to grab is. Waste of money.
I think this might be cooler than the last AC. In the third's controls were so out-of-your control, that you didn't feel like achieving any goals by yourself, just holding a button whilst parkouring, and in melee, simply choosing between two buttons. Not to mention a change of characters in the middle of the game. From a stylish British cynic to a pseudo-native Indian, who is so serious, that he becomes nonsense.
Trailer footage was great but the choice of music was horrible it didnt fit at all and was shit compared to woodkids iron
I hope this one would be good and i mean assassin's black flag because assassin's creed 3 was the worst
assassin's creed i'v ever played . brother hood still the best until now
Honestly, Idk why everyone hates it now really. Pirates were real. They were a thing. I think Ubi showing a side of history typically not shown to us at all by general media, something that must have really taken a lot of studying instead of being what were force fed every year by public schools, is actually really cool. Like I can actually get into the history of this as something interesting just like the cool background behind ACII and Brotherhood was. Not to mention the return of more stealth options and and the health bar making a comeback. I really hope the combat is more like it was before ACIII as well, and hopefully being able to throw heavy weapons again and rebuild the towns (I know the latter isn't very likely, shut up).
This game looks incredible! Cannot wait to play it and explore the world myself. Love Assassin's Creed to death. <3 <)
Just once i would like for an AC character to meet his fucking match,
try to stab a guy and WHAM! the target actually studied in the congo for 12 years after the violent rape and murder of his mother, he blocks the assassination, counters with a kung fu kick, and an epic drawn out darth maulesque fight begins,
thats wat AC has always been missing, real physical fucking challenge, not just kill one of a million cookie cutter british people, and or pirate people. I love AC but they should change the image a bit or some shit. if the story doesn't suck balls compared to 3 ima play this on my surround sound ps4 fantasy hookup.
Man, there are a lot of Assassin's Creed haters in the comments. I'm pretty excited for this. While I didn't hate Revelations or ACIII, I felt like those were the lows of the series mainly due to how linear and geographically flat they were. Also, I thought that the characters were very boring (an old, relaxed Ezio and a strict tribal dude. Altair and (young) Ezio were so fun and interesting. Edward looks more like them, the geography seems varied, and it looks much more open (similar to ACII & Brotherhood). I don't want to get tooo far ahead of myself, but it looks like a return to the AC series we all loved a few years ago with some fun twists.
Seriously? The button after the title is him clinking glasses with a prostitute? How far this series has fallen.
So our new hero is the front man from an 80's glam-rock band??? I'd rather be playing as Tim Curry from Muppet Treasure Island than Johnny Depp from PoTC.
Remember when AC was about stealth and murder?...nah i don't either.
It's a freaking pirate sim!, don't try and fool us.
It is sad, that I am still leery about this game. It's not about weather it will be good or not. It's about will it be an Assassin's Creed game ?! How much will it remain, cause it just feels somehow different. Hope I am wrong.
Terrible choice of music. It what way, shape or form does it remotely fit the time period? I hope the actual game has a worthy OST. Ever since Jesper Kyd left, AC music has gone downhill. Nothing has come close to "Ezio's Family" from AC2.
@dante_gunslinge What on earth gave you that idea?
@1947gamer Hahaha, why on earth did you have 3 of them then?
I loved 1, it was cool and semi original. Remake of prince of Persia but good. 2 was just more if the same blah. The story is blah. Havent touched it since. It's just ubisofts $ cow. These kind of games (cod)games are good 1x a gen imo. I was looking forward to this until I heard that song in this trailer and i remembered forcing myself into playing 2 because I spent 60bucks on it.
@keeperdude07 That's Anne Bonny. A pirate, and probable ally of Edward's. -__- Well done on that research, man.
@keeperdude07 Prostitutes were some of Ezio's best allies. You don't know too much about the series, do you.
@keeperdude07 ezio would have done the same thing bro,
i would do the same thing. titties is titties
@Wobbletop Don't see anything new but this is my favorite black flag trailer so far.
@Wobbletop"don't fix what's not broken". They tried to add a lot of gameplay features in AC3 and god, it felt so shallow. My only concern is the storyline, hope it won't be as dull as AC3.
@Metallicwolf29 It's a shame how far they've fallen. This series used to be about innovating. Now it's another CoD-laughable "AAA" cash-cow.
@Dictatroll there was no stealh in AC and there still isn't, not getting caught is not stealth.
@Dictatroll I really just want to know why they didn't start a new IP with pirates instead of making a new entry in AC. It would have gone over soooooo much better.
@GIXX3R It's that rap stuff I believe all the young people are listening to these days. :-L
I suppose Ubisoft are once again trying to mirror what Activision does with CoD.
@GIXX3R I actually thought it was a great song choice but each to there own eh :)
@GIXX3R agreed. That song sucked
