Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel - Developer Demo
Zach Mumbach drops by to show us how to use overkill on drug lords.
6.0 at best.
I don't think even the developers care about making this game, like some contractual obligation.
All this speculation based on a single level.
I think it looks great, although I was always a fan of the Army of Two series, just love the fire, maneuver and aggro mechanics. Honestly don't think there's any game that feels quite like it.
This comes out the same day as Bioshock Infinate, they will probobly sell two.Even if it didnt come out the same day, it would not sell because it looks cheap.
i miss how they took away there heavy armor we used to look like jugernauts now they look like some kind of polic ops with masks
I know exactly what's going on: EA wants to be on the Guinness book as the Publisher that destroyed most of the game series in history!! I think they are already winning this position by far !! No one will beat EA at doing this, they've mastered this skill !!!
So the first two were average but I have a feeling this is going to be sweet anyone notice the developer behind it?? Visceral Games aka Dead Space aka Masterpiece.
The second army of two game whilst not the greatest game ever was a lot of fun to play on co op, and this looks more of the same - nothing ground breaking but good fun. I wont be rushing to the stores for it though.
Oh, and you can only carry TWO guns now! Wonderful. Guess they really wanted to stick with the 'two' theme. Ass hats.
This is already NOT an Army of Two game... they're hardly wearing any body armor, and one moron is wearing a dress shirt and pants, and the other a leather motorcycle vest!? WTF. Not to mention the incorrect reload animations and horrible death animations. This crap... At least the designers behind the COD games did they're homework when it came to character design, and weapon function.
I cannot stand the hit markers on the crosshairs theyre frigging annoying. and the game looks dated alreadyand this is coming from a hardcore AO2 fan I mustve played the last 2 a total of 10 times combined. I also cant stand the same blue and orange color scheme from Battlefield games, why do games that use frosttbite engine constantly use the same blue and orange hud
This game looks fair at best, with tedious combat and outdated graphics. I can't make a decision yet if cooperative play and storyline will save this title, then again haven't playing previous Army Of Two's...
There are about 500 complaints I can level at why this looks like crap,
and all of these complaints are much larger problems than mediocre graphics.
Does it really matter if the graphics are bad? They could be the greatest graphics on earth, the game would still suck. It's hardly the biggest problem...
first of all the games isn't fps, not that i hate fps i just think there to many this generation.it handles 3rd person shooting quit well and the game also look intense especially the fact that cover breaks which adds a certain level of strategy to the fire fight.the problem is the game plays like every TPS and i am not too fond of the graphics.
with all you people complaining about the graphics then I must tell you that its running on the same engine a battlefield 3. It just looks bad because there isn't enough lens flairs.
I'd really like to see some added mechanics. I love Co Op and love Army Of Two but it looks just like another one of the 100 3rd person shooters. They always seem to include 1 modern feature. Bullet physics or destructible environment. I want Fear A.I. bullet physics like in Max Payne, and open environments. Enough of these hallways to a slow mo door then to a typical quick time event. Why do video games hold our hands. Its rated M. Adults play it. Give us an open environment and let us choose how to play. Give us a BF3 map, make it play like Army of Two, give us stealth options with hiding in shadows and silencers like Splinter Cell, let us co op with agro like Army of Two and make the A.I. smart. All you need is an objective and your good to go. Sick of these games holding my hand.
@flashn00b Not enough PC stories, so it's fill-in. They do it often
@aus_pride The series wasn't that great from the beginning. It's just getting more and more irrelelevant
@aus_pride Masterpiece? Rofl...
@andynorman888 I couldn't agree more. I think many of the Army of Two haters never played with a really close friend. There is just not many things more fun than co-ordinating aggro mechanics, fire and menuevering in army of two with one of your best friends. Co-op for this series is essential as the solo play is just lacking.
@robbiejones Yeah it's baffling
@Evan-0-Matic What exactly is a hat made of ass?
@booty56 OK THEN PLAY MICKEY MOUSE IN WONDERLAND . Who ever heard graphics don't make the game? Graphics is the total game LOL.
@sheikweight hahahahahhaha. Best Response By FAR.
@ForceSkin @robbiejones meh, the original two were pretty awful when you were playing Solo. Get a good friend to tag along with you though and they suddenly become amazingly fun.
@daviz88 I always say, we should demand both. Why can't we have better graphics, oh wait, consoles, sorry I forgot :). We get graphics upgrades every 7 years, cool.
Sorry had to throw the console argument in :).
@nick-nikol People like you shouldn't have the right to vote.
@nick-nikol noob comment, learn your stuff kid, graphic is the last thing that matters for a lot a ppl, gameplay, storyline and the quality of the game will make a good game, lots of games out there with the perfect graphic, most of them s**k bad ass!!
@Fandango_Letho @nick-nikol REALLY? So I shouldn't have a right to an opinion because I criticize the rubbish you say.Of course game play matters in the game if you want to know ,but graphics and the script makes the rest of the game. So NEXT TIME LEARN YOUR A B. C's AND THEN COMMENT, Mr. Knowitall.
