Learn how SEGA went about creating the cast for Alien: Isolation in this trailer.
Did you enjoy this video?
Everything about the game feels creepy.Very atmospheric.
They've been creating a lot of hype over Isolation over the past few months, hope the game lives up to it. From what I've seen so far, it looks totally awesome.
omg. can't wait!!!!!!
And my motion tracker goes: pit pit pit pit pit pit, chiiirp chiiirp.
OMG OMG OMG OMG i want it noooow, finally a game i can play with my father :D
We sweat because we can.
so we'll have to bear these fucking COD commercials before every video on gamespot again? and till NOVEMBER???
I've never played an Alien game because of the negative feedback I get when I discuss it, but this one looks really good.
Can't wait to turn off the lights, fire up the Xbox One, and have some good frights with this one.
On my radar for sure.
Can't wait to see this game when it's done.
I created a cast out of plaster once.
I think the game with the best facial animations is to date LA Noir but I recently replayed Silent Hill 3 and to my surprise the facial animations in that game are impressive as well.
looks cool, I really hope this game will do the Alien games justice, especially AVP2 !
I didn't know there'd be cutscenes, while I like games that are cutscene-less, this does from a visual and sound perspective, seem very, very good. I don't care how crappy the past games have been in the series, I am really excited for this.
Sega/CA needs to invest more in facial animation technology, all the big companies are doing it and it will payoff in the long run.
That 1st actor looks REALLY unrealistic in engine, even tho you have modelled a real person. You should have cast somebody who didn't look so wierd in real life.
Oh the irony.
"Learn how SEGA went about creating the cast for Alien: Isolation..."
I could've sworn SEGA was the publisher for this game rather than the developer (Creative Assembly). Wouldn't CA be the one going about "creating the cast"?
A lot of this sounds real dumb.
"In order to tell the story we needed our characters to be believable. So we took the decision to cast real people."
Like every AAA game?
Best looking pre-alpha I think iv'e seen, this looks like it's the Alien game I've been waiting for, a alien horror game seems like the right step for a Alien game, can't wait to see more.
if everyone's gonna be british in the game .... well .. ok then. lol.
This could turn out to be really good. Fingers crossed.
Lots of British people. I know this is being made in England, its just I hope that casting real people, doesn't limit the amount of diversity in the characters. As much as I love british people.
Here is what I like about CA, this is their sole game they are working on. This team is not working on multiple games. They are looking to prove themselves and they have a desire(from what i've seen in the behind the scenes footage). This makes me feel much better about the outcome of this game. However, because it's going to be a story telling stealth survival horror game, it still won't get the hype it should.
I'm looking forward to this as a survival horror fan and an Aliens fan, but not a lot of players like a stealth game. I do, if executed correctly. Outlast was a great game, fans in the genre rate it what it deserve, while others say poor comments about it.
This game has a lot going for it. It's has a dedicated and passionate team, it comes out during the best time of the year when people are most hyped for a horror genre title, the sound and visuals are excellently crafted and executed in these sneak peaks and demos. I can't wait for this, I hope they incorporate something to improve the replay
faces always look like crap in video games
Amanda Ripley ... wait ... her daughter? Talk about a forced and convenient plot element. If they make choices like that, I can't see the other design choices going well.
I really want this to be good but Aliens: Colonial Marines had a lot of hype surrounding it and turned it to be so bad, so I'm not overly optimistic
im soo getting this game.. i love aliens/alien.
even though it will be probably a disappointment.
@rlakhani11 What commercials? Oh... I guess my Adblock is working.
@Sevenizz More like on your motion tracker am I right? Heh heh heh... Heh... No? Alright.
@jupsto Maybe it's the android...
@jayjay444 Keep dreaming xD, btw that pre alpha footage is awesome ^^
@ICE_PREDATOR How do you not know that the station crew were all employed by the UK branch of WY?
You only heard two characters talk, so I don't know where you got that from. They may cast British actors, but it's not as if a character can't be something else.
@MXVIII LMAO, the best selling game in the gaming industry loved by many was made by British people it's called GTAV, it was made in Edinbrugh Scotland at the Rockstar headquarters, they had more than enough diversity of characters in GTAV, don't be so ignorant next time you decide to comment mate.
@vallee05 Well said but what you said at the end there with the replay ability of the game mate, the Alien is not scripted it never dose the same thing twice so there should be alot of replay value in this game if true.
@dannydopamine8 I think it looks decent.
@dannydopamine8 this IS pre-alpha footage mind you.
@dannydopamine8 Not always
This seems like the first time you've ever read this news, and you hadn't thought it through yet. I at first was turned off by it, but as I saw more news on the game, it became clear it's fine. Plus, how does it seems forced, or not make sense that her daughter would come look for her?
@MooncalfReviews What's so forced about her daughter being the main protagonist? She gets mentioned in Aliens (Director's Cut), so it's not like they pulled her out of thin air.She is very likely going to be looking for clues on how her mother disappeared so it's not going to be THAT surprising, if she ends up running into another Alien problem.I don't understand how that would be a forced or convient plot element, whatever you're even trying to express with that statement.
@MooncalfReviews Not necessarily; the time between Alien and it's sequel is pretty ripe for a story starring Ripley's daughter if you ask me. I'm hoping and praying that the game delivers on it's promises where Colonial Marines could not.
@MooncalfReviews a forced and convenient plot element? i dont think you understand how story telling actually works.
@PS4andXoneGamer TBH though, Colonial Marines was a scam.
@eze_sl89 I played the demo of this game at EGX a few months back and if the rest of the game is like that demo then I doubt there will be much disappointment among gamers and Alien fans. I was quite impressed and me being impressed is not something that comes easily nowadays.
@NTM23 @jupstoHis voice has very little emotion so I guessed he was an android.
@The-Neon-Seal @ICE_PREDATORBritish actors...lol I remember the horror of Killzone 3.
@jayjay444 While that is true when was the last GTA that was based in England or had a majority of British actors?
The point he was making is that British actors have a very, (distinct) accent that is not appealing to everyone.
@jayjay444 @vallee05I'd replay it, just to see what the alien does diffrently, and again, and again after that. I think tht's one of the things that adds such replay value to TES/Fallout too.
