Clip at 0:16 reminds me of Good Morning (the excellent 1959 Japanese movie). Are little boys in Japan so enamored with the PS4 that they make a pact of silence to nudge their parents into buying them one when it arrives there?
Hey guys, I some big questions needs answering about the PS4 - PlayStation Plus and Profiles:
1) Does PS4 PSN works with Paypal or no?
2) what the best way to pay for the PS+ and how is it done exactly? (auto-charge, manual every months) - is the price still is 15 $?
3) Can you import users from the PS3 ? I mean - can I sign in into my 2 PSN - PS3 online profiles when I log into PS4? so that some data and info is kept? Or are the profiles and PSN in PS4 disconnected from the PS3???
4) if it is possible to sign-in to PS4 with the same PS3 profile/user, and I buy PlayStation Plus, will I have PS+ both on the PS3 and PS4??? along with all the discounts and free games on both consoles?
I think these are very important questions. If I can sign in to the same old users of PS3 - and subscribe to PS+ so it works both on PS3 and PS4 - that will be awesome.
Man 2013 was a good year to have a Playstation console, I never got a PS4 yet and to be honest I can wait until they have games, as of now there isn't much to play for it that doesn't have a PS3 counterpart. Sony was on point this year and they owned Xbox at E3. The PS3 always had better exclusives in my opinion throughout its lifespan compared to the Xbox 360's while Xbox had Halo, Fable, Forza, Project Gotham Racing and Gears of War, Sony had Metal Gear Solid 4, Killzone, Heavy Rain, Uncharted, Little Big Planet, Last of Us, Beyond Two Souls, Ni No Kuni, the best baseball game out there in MLB the Show, Resistance Fall of Man as well as all the games it shares with Xbox on multiplats which would also lead me to believe it had a better library all around, but 2013 was easily a great year for Sony and possibly a fine end to the PS3 which will still have games but all major development will probably be on the PS4 from here on out.
2013 is the year that saw me go from being an Xbox fan to a Playstation fan. After the awful Xbox One reveal, terrible policies and lack of games I can't help but move on to greener pastures
He's some News that will get the Xbox fans angry (sorry) and make the Playstation, PC and Nintendo Fans happy but it has to be said Metacritic has done their best games of 2013 were they put an average score on all games across all platforms and the Xbox One and Xbox 360 are the bottom 2 platforms, the order is 1st- PS4, 2nd- Wii U, 3rd- Playstation 3, 4th- PC, 5th- Xbox One then 6th- Xbox 360 the handhelds are in a separate table with the Playstation Vita in 1st and Nintendo 3DS 2nd, in the exclusives section PC was top (which had more highly rated exclusives than all the other platforms combined and then some) followed by PS3 (the highest placed console in the exclusive section and had more highly rated exclusives than the Xbox one and Xbox 360 combined) with the Wii U in 3rd (also like the PS3 had more highly rated exclusives compared to the Xbox One and Xbox 360 combined) and in the great games category (90% or higher) PC is 1st, PS3 2nd and in joint 3rd Wii U and Xbox 360 and in the highest rated Game of the year category GTA V was top with the PS3 version being a tiny bit higher the highest exclusive is The Last of Us on PS3, here's the web address for those who don't believe me http://www.metacritic.com/feature/best-video-games-of-2013, now i have made this comment to show all those who try to defend one platform over another it's a waste of time hopefully you'll become collectors trust me you'll be much happier.
It's been a bumpy ride for Sony in 2013. But by the end, Sony did manage to triumph.
All the best for 2014 Sony.
May you keep engaging us in this magical universe of gaming.
Such a terrifically different year, if it is to be compared with the one with the PSN outage.
On the other hand, that year is probably the year that heralded a massive shift in Sony's priorities vis-a-vis the customer, if one considers the monies that it spent for compensation - especially that one-year insurance policy for identity theft for affected customers. (Sure, it was short - but it is very expensive stuff.)
Actually touchpad is more used than ever, it's so natuaral I don't think I could go back to playing with DualShock3 after this.
when thief, infamous second son and destiny come out the ps4 will truly be the best console this year.
Had a great year with my PS3, mostly because of PS+ I had more games than I could finish :P
It also got me into games I would never have otherwise, and surprised how good they are, like Saints row and Borderlands.
This generation has turned completely around. And it all started in 2009. 360 ruled until then, but after that, the exclusives started to disappear on the 360, many going multiplatform, while the PS3 library just kept on growing and growing. I went with PS3 this generation as usual, and will do again with PS4, and I'm glad I didn't get a 360, since so far no exclusive has ever come out that I had interest in. I did miss the best version of Bayonetta.. But hey, no matter how much I love it, it wasn't worth a whole new console just for it.
Hopefully this generation Nintendo and MS step up their game, create new interesting IP's, so that this time around I get all consoles.
I think the reason why Flower and flOw were ported to PS4 was because they act very well as proof-of-concept games. Much in the way that Wii Sports showed newcomers how to use the Wiimote's motion controls, flOw and Flower show new players how the SIXAXIS works and how it can be used for gameplay.
Had an amazing journey with my PS3. Not only I played great games, but I met some awesome new friends through it.
A great year for gamers, on every system. I dont think there was a single month that I wasnt excited for things to come, and for things that were just out. Goodbye 2013, loved every day
Yes you can import your PSN profile from the PS3 and you will have PS Plus on both. I currently have PS Plus on my PS3, PS Vita and PS4 and I'm getting free games for all of them off one subscription, it's awesome. Not sure about whether you can pay with Paypal. In the UK at least, it's payment card only. I'm pretty sure payment is auto renewed when the subscription runs out. Price is the same as it is on PS3. Hope this helps.
@bleedgreen2-1-5I'm still very much into the PS3 -- a lot of games to catch up on. Plus, DARK SOULS 2 comes out in March and CASTLEVANIA: LORDS OF SHADOW 2 next month. Still life in that console.
@northArrow For me I would not say I stopped being an Xbox fan, I would say that Playstation became my go to brand of choice when I got my PS Plus membership in the beginning of the year 2012 and a few great games that came out this year for my PS3. Also, while I was still living in Japan at the beginning of the year, I got in on that PS Vita reduced price and different color that was never offered here in the US. The Xbox just was no longer a value for me once I no longer wanted to play shooters primarily and the quality of the PS3 games saw vast improvements. I still got most of the multiplatform games on the Xbox but the exclusives for my PS3 and the PS Plus membership sealed my loyalty.
@krishnaV_Bumpy ride? Not certain what you're talking about...?
@krishnaV_ I don't remember anything but a smooth sail through great games like the last of us and amazing ps4.
@Metallicwolf29 in terms of games and console features, absolutely. Hope my PS4 can play videos and music in the future.
@ne0meg4 You will be back in DualShock 3 in the future.
@ne0meg4 The touchpad is great in Trine 2. Now I can draw those stupid wizard boxes with my finger instead of trying to do it with the thumbstick.
@meedokicky far cry 3 and dragons dogma too were well worth it.
@DiamondDM13 I had a 360 initially but I got PS3 in 2009, ever since then my 360 collects dust, I'd say PlayStation did take over from that point, forgive me for possible sounding ignorant but I feel like 90% of the Xbox 360's fan base seems to only play Call of Duty anyway. There's only so many times they can make Halo or Gears of War, Fable II was good then Fable 3 sucked a big one, meanwhile Sony's Playstation has its classic franchises like Rachet and Clank, Sly Cooper, Killzone but it also introduced newcomers and mainstays like Uncharted, Last of Us, Beyond Two Souls, Infamous, Resistance Fall of Man etc.
@sakaixx hahahaha there were no good games on ps3 in 2013, and Xbox One is vastly superior to sony shit box 4.
@coaltangolooking forward to see how they implement it into Infamous SS gameplay. Would be cool to do that shockwave move with a sweep of your finger haha
@2h5g It's from the trailer perfect day for PS4
@battlefront1943 @bleedgreen2-1-5 yeah man I don't plan to jump on to the PS4 for awhile, I love my PS3 and play all my games over and over again. I'll get PS4 eventually but I can wait. I imagine that from hee on out though within a few months PS4 will get all the major development and PS3 might get watered down ports.
You say "no" over and over so it won't/didn't happen right?
If only words can change reality. :/
@LethalMigraine@sakaixx I too dislike the Playstation. However, I am playing The Last of Us, which is amazing...it's the only good thing PS has going for it. Period. The only thing that is ruining that game for me is that god damn shitty piece of plastic toy they call Dualshock. Such a terrible controller, can't ait to get back onto Xbox.
@LethalMigraine @sakaixx I know right! Especially when you look at all those great XBox exclusives like... That one that... You know... XBox... Well at least there's the Xbox One thats better than the PS4 at streaming to Twitc... No... Focusing on the gamer... No, not that... Not pissing flui... Wait... Well Xbox Gold is offering games now! What does Sony have to say about... Plus, oh yeah!
Trolls aside, you're pretty fucking simple minded!
Save you're fan boy antics for the right thread
@meedokicky @neowarrior121 yea they made it free about 3 months ago i had it on pc already so to me anyway its pointless (tho i still downloaded it) its a really good game i suggest buying it if you like open world fun. its a good game to keep on the back burner so o speak and come back to it every few months.
