Everyone needs to calm down, would you rather see the Xbox One Kinect features at E3 or get them out of the way now?? Xbox One will "obviously" continue its dominance in the Video Game world. Stop complaining about the U.I., size & look of the box and start getting excited for the next-gen titles, especially the Xbox One exclusives. If you think that Cable TV, Motion, and an HD camera on the new Kinect is all the Xbox One has to offer than you might as well disappoint yourself, and be left out. When you realize the Xbox One kicks more ass than ever in the next "year and a half..." you'll pull that Kinect cork out of your ass. FYI: I'm also going to buy a Playstation 4 too, so shut up Playstation Librals and become "Bi-Partisan." Expand your abilities.

I have one of those, I built 2 years ago and its as fast with as good if not better graphics.
Online costs .. NOTHING!
Second hand games play ok, they cost to install .. NOTHING!
Steam sells me new games at good prices with bargains & a wide choice.
So the only question is why am I going to put up with
microsofts bullshite to buy something I could make cheaper ,better & EVEN faster?
It bothers me how every product has to be sold with a philosophical definition of what the product does for the consumer. How dumb do you have to be to swallow this shit.

2 Like It to early to judge, Microsoft seem to have left the gaming side for E3, people moaning are just stupid how can 1 press conference tell you everything, we have months until release and time for more news to come out, why would you not want more than just a console if you can have more and it cost a good price why would you not says "YES", E3 will show the gamers the direction they going and what 15 exclusives games (Sony confirm no amount) are. Until than I would say take a deep breath go play some games and wait until more information come out.
I wish that was true, but for me personally it won't matter how good the games are.
The ONLY way I would buy an XBone now would be if Microsoft dropped the following things from the console COMPLETELY!
DRM 24 hour internet checking up on me crap. I mean WOW wtf are they thinking? You do realize they can "turn the games you OWN off from there end now dont you?
Plus leave the used games industry completely as it is now.
Plus made the thing usable without the Kinnect thing (alot of people do not like or want it).

I dont want to be funny but nearly 90% of GAMERS seem to be going for the sony PS4 option, and thats down to the really bad reveal of the XBone more than the reveal of the PS4.
If sony are doing anything its partying hard as there stocks and shares increased loads over the last couple of days, as Microsofts took a bit of a nose dive! also down to the XBone reveal!

At the old school ages what it counted were the games and the originality of them, nowadays it is the combined featured functionality of consoles that do everything..let's see what happen...my bet for the next gen war is Nintendo Wii u (for hardcore gamers only).
Seems Microsoft are relying on very cheap, forgettable gimmicks as a way to reel in customers. Gestures with the hands is a step backwards, as a controller is the touch of a button...

Well, It includes a Digital TV Service that I already have, includes a Super Kinect that I think I will use the Same as the Old One, that means never, and don't forget about the Amazing Idea of Joining Your Mobile Devices with your Console to manage your Dream Team of Whatever, Amount of People that I know use this very Interesting Service in a Daily, Weekly or Monthly Basis, a yeah ZERO.
I only hope all this Stuff doesn't add to the Final Price Tag.

@complexriga You have to figure this is the way to go with the console when they are going to continue be dominated year in and out by PC in terms of outstanding graphics and sound. They aren't going to keep battling and losing to the competition. They have to find a niche, open up their own lane, to stay afloat. There is more than one way to make money in any given industry.
@TacticaI @complexriga For me the Niche of Game Consoles is those People who don't find funny to take Days to find the Right Components for the Right Price, to build a Machine and hope Its Specs to be enough to run Games at a Decent Level.
When I refer to "Outstanding Graphics and Sound", I mean according to the Technical Possibilities of the Platform, that would be ideal that those Graphics could be paired to most Powerful Graphics Cards of Nvidia or ATI, but We know this is not realistic, not even in the Moment of put the Consoles in the Shelves for the First Time.
@360959 looks like u can but u have to pay fees for it, MS charge money for everything over all it's a crap compare to play station , don't get me wrong i am pc gamer and dont give a shit about childs toys but still PS was number one since it was released in 1995. too bad i was unable to buy it at that time becasue it was extremly expensive toy compare to sega genesis and all other consoles , skip box try out heavy rain and uncharted series on PS and you will see the difference plus Play Station has more exclusive titles than sexbox 360 you can check it yourself you be the judge.
3 Like No doubts, I'll just be upgrading my current PC rather than get the Xbox One. I don't want Kinect. I don't wan't social media integration. I don't want to have to wave my hands and talk to change a channel. I wanted a GAMING system, with outstanding graphics and GAMEPLAY. I don't care about that other crap. I have a computer/smartphone for facebook/twitter and all that other stuff. Xbox One is clearly more focused on social media than it is on gaming. Specs are unimpressive, at best. FFS. Complete fail.

But now to see what glitches need to be ironed out upon its release along with the system's durability and throw away all those great 360 games due to incompatibility. This new xbox is more entertainment and for universal applications driven than actual gaming which is the original purpose of consoles. Only the newest and the latest, forget all about the classics and what lead to this new era of gaming. At least it will make using the TV easier and far less complex.

Seriously, I expected more from Microsoft for the new Xbox. But I have to admit that I think that from this generation on, there will not be so much news anymore, not even in graphics resolution. The great "Boom" was years ago, when every single new thing was enough to make gamers and non gamers get surprised. From now on, the only thing that may surprise everyone, or at least the most of the gamers, are the games themselves. The future of gaming is in the hands of the developers/creators. No matter the system, what it may do, the games are the real thing on each single system.
I think some people will find anything they can to dis a platform/game. You can be presented with the best possible scenario and all the few of you can do is complain about something so petty. Someone here actually complained about there being too much detail...seriously. Is everything about Xbox One perfect? No. I don't care for the whole required Kinect feature. Its extra hardware and peripherals that I don't need nor want. But that doesn't take away from the fact that this system is shaping up to be great.

Do You believe everything said online is true? You take every biased blog and hole-in-the-wall game article? Name one bad rumor that was true. If anything, nearly all of the rumors were just proven false on the 21st.

I am explaining DRM piracy prevention, the "always on" term was about the internet connection, Microsoft changed this to "it MUST connect to the internet at least every 24 hours" or you cant play it!
so they can say "NO" when asked if it needs to be "always on-line"
Its all very dodgy to me, and I opt out!
the "always on" you mentioned is simple to overcome if you dont want it on just unplug it. you might say do that with the internet, but you wont be able to use XBOX ONE without reconnecting it within 24 hours!
That includes SP (single player offline games)!

Do some things require an internet connection? Yep. But then again, so does just about everything else. But no one said you can't play SP games offline. They don't serve drinks on that bandwagon, time to jump off my friend.

You couldn't be more wrong if you typed with your elbows man. There is no always connected. Its always on. Meaning you can, turn on and start using the Xbox immediately....check 8:47 . you can still use it offline...just not everything, all the time
