Looks like it might be fun. I think I'll probably just stick with Fable 2 on the Xbox though.

I like this kind of game. I hope they have a good AI system that u can use for your AI controlled party members tho. Kind of in the way they had it in ff 12.

For me at lest It was allot of fun designing how your characters would act then seeing in a fight how it would turn out

    chechak7-

You are an idiot, we haven't seen any of the real gameplay, you don't know anything about it. Also there is nothing wrong with the shader it's just a dark game (which I love and I think is fitting) so your comments are invalid.

Meh PC version will be best. I love that elves are "second class citizens" usually elves in any game are mysterious or high respected but makes me want to play an elf in my first play through

Cant wait, I very much look forward to this. Will play it on the pc but I am really glad to see it on consoles as well. If they get the controls right and do not dumb it down too much then it should be some great stuff.

    I'm so getting this!

"1. CLEAR class definitions. If you are a thief, you are a thief. Not this disgusting d&d v3+ whatever-class-you-wanna-be-crap, i hate that. I don't want to evolve whatever way i want. If i chose to be a thief, then i want the backstab multiplier and NO ONE ELSE can have it. Multiclass and dual-class are okay though."

I agree with the sentiment behind this, but I do not see why you're saying this about 3e. 3.5e is my favourite system, as it rid itself of many of AD&D's stupid restrictions and yet remained defined enough to be good. Even 4e keeps characters focussed on a path. I'd understand if your comments were directed at TES games, which IMO are far too open-ended wrt the class system.

I'll be very excited if the game manages to create an epic storyline similar to Baldur's Gate. I'm really looking forward to this game. The graphics look good and the gameplay seems promising

I think that gameplay is the thing that comes first in line with games, story & sound 2th and graphics should be 3th.

AS most of you know, PC games are hard to make because of the diferent hardware everyone has. So beefing up a game with (standard) heavy graphics wil result in marketing failure on the broader side of view.

If this game would have a good toolset like NWN2 then it is possible to make your own textures because that is all you are watching as a graphical comeout.

Peops, show some respect for the ones who create such massivly great story line based RPG games like bioware has done for countles years.

I think this game is going to be the best succesor of the genre as a party based RPG with a deep compelling storyline. Although the art seems to be setback, i understand why it has been done this way.

Tip: Performance in former engines where rather slugish based on the graphical scenes in NWN 2 - Though the witcher had made some improvements on it, it just keeps stuttering for some reason.....memory management maybe?

Keep it up Bioware, you guys practicly own the RPG scene!

As a superfan of bg series, some things i hope dragon age will have (or not have):

    1. Multiclass and dual-class are okay though.
    2. Please focus more on the party play. Because by looking at the close-cam-view in this video, i know they are focusing too much on character play.
    3. I dont know how their spell system is, but PLEASE DO NOT HAVE A 5 SECOND REST BUTTON!!! I WANT MY SPELLS TO MATTER. Not just pew pew and then rest 5seconds, that is freaking ridicolous system. I want to have to crawl through the rest of the dungeon because i was stupid enough to use all my best spells on that ambush i didnt expect. Or have to walk all the way back to town to get some good rest (or just tent up outside). But I DONT WANT 5SEC REST EVERYWHERE-YOU-WANT-TO-BUTTON!!
    4. please no insta-medkits, that's stupid. Either i have a healer (or several) in my party or my party is screwed, its easy.

cant think of more disgusting neverwinter nights 2 mainstream features atm...

the dialog is like all the other games... they say someting you chose that you will say. and then you hear their respond.

like mass effecet but you will se exactly wat you will say and you dont hear yourself. its cool if feels more like a actual conversation
