  • "Get Your Ass Back to Mars" 5x XP Event!
(Click to enlarge) With the holiday season in full swing, only two words come to mind: Free Stuff! The team behind Red Faction Guerrilla wants to ensure that everyone has a joyful holiday, and we?re going to push the limits. Do you fall into any of the following categories? Achievement/Trophy Hunter Leaderboard Aficionado Demolitions Expert Unexplained affinity for Sledgehammers or Ostriches If so, then this event is for you. Instead of the usual double or less frequent triple XP that most games run, we?re launching our ?Get Your Ass Back to Mars? Event with a bang by giving all players on 360 and PS3 five full days worth of quintuple XP. You read that correctly, 5x XP for 5 entire days across every mode from Anarchy to Siege. For the Achievement/Trophy Hunter in all of you, it?s now easier than ever to earn 50 points or get that Gold trophy for 100,000 XP. If you?re feeling adventurous, you can push on a little farther and obtain 120,000 XP in order to obtain the legendary Ostrich Hammer. If you?ve never played Red Faction Guerrilla?s multiplayer yet, this is your chance. A new account under quintuple XP settings will earn approximately 10 unlocks after just a single game! But that?s not all! Starting this week - and throughout the event - on our official Twitter account (@RedFaction), we?re giving away some free DLC codes for each console. Follow along to receive updates for when the individual codes will be posted to our account and have a chance to grab them before anyone else. Each of our 3 packages will be given away to a handful of lucky fans. The ?Get Your Ass Back to Mars? event runs from Thursday, December 17th (starting around Noon PST) until end of day on Monday, December 21st. Co... Read More »

Sheng Long was supposingly their Master(Ryu & Ken's master). Remember that old rumor that you can pick him if you beat the game with all perfects and then get a double KO twice in a row on M.Bison? ROFLMAO. It was hilarious how many idiots tried to accomplish it.

In SF2 Ryu's comment when he wins was: "You must defeat Sheng Long to stand a chance". Who the hell is Sheng Long???? I always thought it was Akuma.... then later on in SF3 and now in SF4 there's Gouken... is he Sheng Long??? But Sheng Long is also the name of the dragon in Dragon Ball Z who grants u wishes... LOL
    Can anyone answer my question???

What's the name of that song? It sounds like something that would be used in a montage from an 80's Van Damme movie.

A post below noted the song in the SF HD clips are from Rocky IV. Hmmm, that may or may not be correct. The song here, "You're the Best", was made famous as the theme for Karate Kid (recall the big tournament towards the end of the film). I believe the earlier post may be confusing "You're the Best" with "Eye of the Tiger", the latter of which was originally composed for Rocky III, then used iconically as the Rocky theme.

Old school Mega man graphix, and music is the s#~*! I'm glad they went back to the oldschool design of Mega man for the final one before X. I think that moving Megaman 7 to the super nes was a mistake, and moving Megaman 8 to the Sony Playstation was an even bigger mistake.
