and developers get new ideas for 1 thing look at how may sequals this autum/winter Fallout 3 Fable 2(although has some good knew ideas) COD5 gears of War 2. please i want new games the only one i can think of is Dead Space

off course it looks like it not got action its an rts On AoE its not action packed unless you choose it to be its not an FPS shooter. and don't judge a book b its cover Halo 3 wornt the greatest shooter but it deffinataly worth the worst t was in between good and exerant in my case

never complain on a game that hasnt even been finished yet, im not a real halo fan, actaully i hate those SoB:s who says halo is the best frikkin game in the world. BUT now im pissed on u guys who complains on this game that isnt even finnished.

Do you complain on like food before you even tasted it?

looks really really...crap !! its slow it has no action....it was like a chess match but with less thinking kinda from this video i could say that this game will get a 6...maybe a 5

No tactics, no strategy, look like an arcade.....this game reminds me of command and conquer with better effects and some new units alien units........ CRAP

In my experience, strategy titles do not work on consoles (the only exception being Civilization Revolution - but that's technically a simulator), so Halo Wars is doomed from the start.
People always tell me that Ensemble Studios are the master of real time strategy, but I think that they WERE the masters. The genre has changed and Ensemble, along with many other companies, has failed to keep up.
All these videos showed were that your units can move and attack, and that enemy units will do the same. Spartans can also steal enemy vehicles. Big deal.

This game still has almost half a year until release, I'm sure there will be plenty of time for graphical and gameplay improvement.

nope. nevermind i had hopes for a second but they vanished along with the coolness of the game. it seems like a regular RTS but with a halo mod. Plus the map is looks way boring you just one army against the other with no strategy involved. Only i would rent it for the story, or il just watch my friend play cuz hes good at these games.

starcraft2 > halo wars, TBA 2008 and still no date. 08 is almost over. might get delayed till 09. looks very boring, starcraft 2 just looks 100 times better

this game looks horrible, have you seen the bases? you just buy addons and the maps seem so plain.... the fight look horribly repetative just looking at this because they keep on coming on the nonstrategic plain map...boring!!!
