Wonder if there will be sub-games that include being able to play as certain characters like they did in RE4. That might be good. Or even if they went back to when you even play through a game as a secret unlockable character; like in RE2... Hunk... Tofu... etc.

I also think there was room for this style of gameplay and the older version.... this is just action for me... not survival horror anymore....

Its really amazing to see chris redfield comeback after a long time and that also in RE5, but i got to hand it to capcom two thumbs and also my both toes up. I am indeed waiting for the game to release because i just decided to buy PS3 just for playing it.

Looks almost identical to RE4, just better graphics. The Merchant, or at least a merchant had better be there because he made RE4 for me. And im also glad to be rid of Las Plagas.just saying those words frustrates me. They had better not bring them back as a surprise.

i dont really care if the gameplay is similer its still gonna be good.
they should eventually make a seperate game with the old style ways. like an outbreak game or something so its not in the main re series

I enjoy the old style Resident Evil...
I really didn't like 4 and from what i see there isn't much new, even the graphics are nothing special.
Since i first heard of 5 it's been over hyped in everyway. It doesn't look like something i would normally buy and the only reason i will is because i still have firm memories of the first 3 games. I think it's time for an update on the original style to bring it more upto date. There is no denying that resident evil 4 is a good game and maybe 5but they're not worth of the name.
