The Gamespot site is excellent.

I just don't like this particular video review. There is no objectivity to it. It tells me nothing about the game.

I use reviews to get a sense of how good or bad a game is and ultimately decide whether I am going to buy it or not.

Sad to see my first post here on GameSpot after being registered for at least 6 months is to say that...
This "REVIEW" is awful. I like the concept of the first 3min 30seconds and it's great video editing, but I wanted a "REVIEW" to help me validate whether this is worth my money, not a promotion/commercial. I'm watching the review on gametrailers (thanks for the linkage Ponkie)

This review is soo lame.

This is more like a commercial. I wonder how much they got paid to do this. I expect a review to be objective.

What the hell? That was awful! That wasn't a review, that was a promo. It's been like this for a while here. Gamespot is a glorified distributor these days. If it's not bullsh!t like this, it's 8,9,10/10 reviews for mediocre games. All it's good for now is watchin video clips. Seriously if this is you moving forward, then take the initiative, grow some b@lls and take a look at yourself - we don't need another youtube. Ahhhh, feel much better now.

Despite what the earlier users say I believe this to be one of the better video reviews. I applaud you, Kevin, for actually doing something other than reading your text review (those are the video reviews I hate).

Why from time to time the reviews are rare and shorter?
