Won't satisfy the hardcore boxing fan, but for the gamer this is a real gem.

Based on an anime, this game was never going to have the attraction that Fight Night does to boxing fans, with its licenced players and such, but this game, although less realistic provides hours of fun.

You basically start as Ippo Makounhcihci (sp) and just fight a load of boxers until you beat them, and once youve beaten them you can play with them in multiplayer.

Although the first few boxers can be savagely destroyed without any problem, the opposition gets steadily harder and each opponent requires a strategy to beat them, which provides a challenge.

Basically if you have the time, this game can be very very fun, but its a lot more complex than it seems at first, so it can be very frustrating to beat some of the more difficult boxers.

I would advise anyone to try this game, i have never had any interest in boxing but this game provided a great deal of enjoyment.
