In Velvet Assassin you take control of a British spy deep in enemy territory taking out important buildings and weapons to slow the Nazi war machine. Your main weapon is a knife, but you also get a gun at some parts. Most of the time you will sneak up on your enemy from behind by using the darkness that surrounds you or the walls or grass. Sometimes you will have to make an area dark by destroying a fuse box or a light. When hidden your health outline will turn blue telling you that your hidden. You can also use scenery to kill your enemy like shooting a barrel may cause a explosion or send out toxic gas killing the guard. When the guards die you may want to drag there there bodies in to the the darkness so none of there comrades find out. You can also find first aid kits and morphine, first aid kits can replenish any lost health, morphine will freeze the game for a few seconds giving you the abilities to move to new cover or take a guard out from the front. This game is very challenging and takes lots of tries to beat.
