Van Helsing…let me start off by saying that I did not play this game for a very long time. I put maybe about 2 hours or so into it, so my impressions will come from that. If it changes drastically after that, please feel free to respond. From everything I had seen, I was real excited to play it, until I picked up the controller. The character seems to be animated well and the action is certainly entertaining, but the camera control (or lack of it) ABSOLUTELY ruined the game for me. You mean to tell me that I have to simply rummage through still backgrounds to find invisible power-ups that I could easily locate if I had some camera control. I tolerated it for a while and them it just became an exercise in frustration. This game is a rental at best.
