Basic hack and slash dungeon grinder

User Rating: 6.5 | Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption PC
This game is basically just a hack and slash dungeon grinder with little RPG substance. The storyline is overplayed and really does not add to the game. Game play consists of hacking apart your enemies and really nothing beyond that.

The game is VERY Linear, but unlike other RPGs where the story is interesting, the story in this game is not great. If there were more freedom in this game, maybe it would be a little better because then you could escape from the boring main story.

The game is buggy on my system which operates Windows 7 64 bit. Many items do not function at all (specifically spell scrolls) and there are exploits where you can artificially get your character the best items in the game.

For an adaptation of an IP that is known for being the cerebral counter to D&D's hack N slash, this game fails.
