Problem with Unofficial Patch 6.9?

I start up the game, but the first thing that happens is the intro ads play in the top left of my computer screen. When I get to the actual menu, there's only a small box in the lower left with the menu in it, and everything else is black. I tried changing the resolution, but it won't move from the one it is, currently. Anyone else get this problem?
