Like the other reviews about the game yes, the story,as such, is very transparent and thin. As such, you feel little or no connection to the main storyline or quests and could care less. The camera is like a ride on a "tilt a whirl" often having you to adjust your view every time you move. Having said that, the game is fun and the action, although repetitive, is enjoyable. The battles consisting mostly of rapidly hitting the Attack button and letting your teammates handle the rest, such as healing. Using magic is not as bad as some may think since it does pause the game and allow you to select your spell and target where you want the spell to go. The only ' problem' I had was starting out with a fighter/thief group instead of the recommended fighter/priest suggestion in the back of the manual. Using any other combo made it very difficult to advance without any means of healing and progressing far into the harder levels where monsters re-spawn after a short time. Over all not a bad find in the cheap bin.
