A game that fell short in many ways.

I tend to agree with Nintendo Power on their review score on this. I pre-ordered this and had to wait almost 2 weeks before I even saw this in the local EB store. I was so excited to play but when I got home and popped it into the Wii, I was sadly disappointed for many reasons.

The first being the lack of sound or music except for the character's clunky running. The second reason, is the poorly developed way you have to equip the items you get. Everything and I mean everything has a cp cost and if you don't have that cp cost, then you can't use it. When you level, it seems that you really don't get many cp levels which is really too bad because some of the higher end equipment have tremendously high cp cost.

The third reason why this game fails is because when you take on a quest, there is no real explaination of where to go nor is there any indicator of when you have acquired enough materials if you are in a hunt quest.

Finally, the last let down of the game is having to pay gold in order to switch job classes. The higher the job class the more it is to switch to it, granted for some it might be easy to gain money but at the beginning of the game if the player doesn't have the money, they will have to wait quite a long time before they can switch jobs.

In conclusion, this game was better left on the hand held, and not moved to the console. If there is a sequel to this, I hope the game developers take the time to flush this out as this game felt rushed in its development.
