Time consuming, long winded and makes less sense than a cracker.
But once i had my hands on it i realized the game has a crapload of flaws.
1. Battle System is explained little or at all.
2. The mindless grinding just to move up to the next map without getting your ass chewed out by the mobs in the previous maps is tiring and annoying.
3. The nice little initials used in the equipment screen looks cool but makes little sense.
4. Once you start the game, the storyline entices you, but drifts way off once u actually start questing and progressing only so often to have a quest related to the main story.
5. The battle system is horrible, battles lasts barely 30seconds and to actually NOT use the auto-battle system will only end up having yourself killed or your PSP on the floor.
6. Death penalty is ridiculous, and without anywhere to put your cash, you have to be VERY careful not to die with 600k on hand or risk losing HALF.
There are good points as well.
1. Semi-customizable characters with a good range of races and job makes game interesting.
2. There are alot of different equipment to fit onto different characters.
3. Obscenely lengthy game, good for buggers with time to burn.
4. Fair amount of maps, makes exploring exciting.
Overall i'd give this game a 4/10.
