The wide range of fun unlockable and character customization make it worthwhile.

This is another "vacation resort" themed mini-game collection put out by Ubisoft.

There are 8 different activities which include Go Karts, Disc Golf, Dodgeball, Paleta Fronton (like handball with a racket), Petanque (bocce ball), Air Hockey, Beach Cricket and Darts. Unlockable games are Skeet Shoot and Table Football. There some control issues with some of the games that will frustrate you, but over all the control is responsive. Although at first dodgball sounds like it would be the best of the lot, the controls and fast pace make it difficult. My favourites to play were disc golf, bocce, and gokarts.

The graphics are not too bad, basically what you see on the cover is the same quality as in the game, which is 3D cartoonish characters.

The best part of the game is the customization and the unlockables. You create a family with up to 6 members. You can create up to 4 families at once and play any of them or compete against them. There are basic feature options you can change anytime you want including pants, shoes, tops, hair, hats, face etc. I made a hillbilly family, and one based on my own family but with Chuck Norris in it. There are plenty of unlockable clothing items as rewards for playing single player such as deep sea diving outfit, pirate costume, etc. You can mix and match clothing items and accessories as often as you want.

The worst part, and I don't know if this is just me, but I could not get the multiplayer, which is I assume why most people would buy it. The case says up to 4 players, but no where in the instruction book on in the game menu is the option for multiplayer. I tried to link two controllers but it would not work.

They try real hard to make it seem like you are staying at a resort hotel. You can tour the lobby and your hotel room which can be upgraded by unlocking it during the game.

I bought this game for $9.99 in the bargain bin at a department store in October 2009. Considering it came out in March 2009, this is a big drop.

If you are getting tired of Wii Play, or Wii Sports, and you see it for under $20, I would recommend picking it up. Just keep in mind that it may not work as a multiplayer party game, but is fun as a single player.
