I just realized I have been on this website for over 2 years now. Wow. I graduated from college, I've been at my new job for over four weeks, and I'm at my new apartment with my cat!  Life is good.  Busy, but good.  Sadly there hasn't been much time for TV.  But I splurged and got the DirecTV service with DVR, so I can watch what I want when I want.  I've been watching the new episodes of the 4400 and the Closer.  Monk and Psych start up again in a couple of weeks, I think.  Fun times.

Last time I updated, I was 44 days away from graduation.  Now I'm 4 days away.  I'm still in denial about it, lol.

I'm excited about the Bones season finale tonight.  And the Idol results.  I really hope Blake goes home.  He's not bad, but compared to Melinda and Jordin... well, he can't compare!  I hope Melinda wins, but I wouldn't mind if Jordin took the crown.

Also, Lost is on tonight... crazy stuff on that show, I'll tell you!

I can't believe graduation is 44 days away. I'm excited, but a little nervous too. In order to watch my shows when I get my own apartment, I'll be the one paying for cable. Who knew it was so expensive?

Oh well.. welcome to the real world, huh?

On to my shows... 24, Lost, BSG, Prison Break: some crazy stuff is going on! Yikes! And I can't believe I have to wait until 2008 for new episodes of BSG. And I'm not sure when PB is coming back... hopefully this fall.

American Idol: Sanjaya needs to go. Melinda needs to win. People need to stop booing when Simon talks because he's right on the money 99% of the time.

    That's all for now.

Here at Hollins we have a January Term, AKA J-term or Short Term, where students can either take an interesting class not usually offered (I took Contract Bridge and Experimental Fiction in my freshman and sophomore years, respectively), do an independent study, go on a trip, do an internship, or work on their senior thesis.

Well, this year, I'm doing my thesis. I'm writing a screenplay. It's a year-long honors thesis, actually, so I've been working on it since the fall, and the plan is to finish it before I graduate (which I will, but it's hard to believe it's only four months away!)

Anyway, the only commitments I have are thesis meetings on Tuesday mornings and work in the afternoons. So I have a lot of free time... which is supposed to be work on my thesis, but I'm such a procrastinator, lol, so I like to goof off as well.

I've watched a bit of TV during the day, like Reba reruns on Lifetime or the amusing stuff they play on VH1. They had a "America's Top Model" marathon last week, so I watched that a little.

I'm excited about shows coming back, though. 24 season six starts this Sunday, and then the new season of American Idol starts Tuesday. Monk, Psych, Battlestar Galactica, and Prison Break all start up again this month as well, and then Lost comes back February 7th. I have to make sure to get thesis work done before my shows come on

I can't believe there's this week, and then next week, and then no more fall semester! I'm excited to go home for Christmas break and to not worry about school until January... but at the same time, I have so much work to do between now and next weekend, I'm afraid I'm going to go crazy!

Concerning TV... I got caught up on House when I was home for Thanksgiving. I don't like the Tritter guy. That actor annoys me anyway, when he chews his gum and his raspy voice. Ugh. Get rid of him. I missed this week's episode, so I don't know if he's out of the picture yet. But yeah...

I've been watching Prison Break and Lost faithfully, although Lost ended for the year a few weeks ago and PB had its fall finale this week. Both were cliffhangers that had me at the edge of my seat... although I like PB better than Lost. Lost seems to drag sometimes. Oh well, I'll still watch Lost anyway.

I'm happy that PB is coming back earlier than originally planned - January 22nd (which is also when 24 starts its 6th season! Yay I can't wait!)

Alright enough of my update. Time to get some work done.

The semester is halfway over... then I'll be in my last semester of college!  Wow.  Crazy.  Exciting, but crazy.  I'll need a job!!!

I've been watching Lost and Prison Break regularly, and it's kept me at the edge of my seat.  Other shows I like but haven't been able to watch a lot of, like House and Bones... my parents are saving for me on Tivo

My guy friend visited me last weekend and we started watching Season 1 of Veronica Mars.  I had never seen it before, and absolutely loved it!  I'll either need to borrow it from him or get my own copy and start watching... very interesting show!!!

Okay, time to get going.  Weird Al's going to be on Jay Leno tonight!

Only three more weeks of classes, then exams, and I'll be done with my junior year of college. It's flown by so fast! I'm excited about graduating next year (class of 2007!) and getting an apartment on my own with my fat cat Zoe, but I'm gonna miss Hollins too.

TV stuff... I went home for the weekend (for Easter) and watched the two eps of Lost I've missed. Yikes. Craziness. I'm gonna definitely watch this week! I also caught up on an episode each of Prison Break and 24. I think I have three more episodes of each to catch up on. And I've missed a couple of House's. It'll be nice to be home for the summer and be all caught up on my shows, finally!

It's been over three months since I left that wonderful city across the pond. I went through some pretty bad London withdrawals but it's passed. I still miss it, though, and I'll definitely go back.

Being back at home for Christmas break and January Term, I was able to catch up on TV shows during the fall that I had missed (House, Prison Break, Battlestar, Stargate, etc.) And then I got into a few new shows, like Surface and 24. No, I'm not obsessed with TV

Time goes by so quickly, not slowly as Madonna sings. I only have a week left here!!! It's gone by so fast. My 21st birthday is tomorrow, but I have no idea what I'm gonna do.

I've been to so many places. Salzburg, Austria was amazing, and I loved Italy - Venice especially. I also went to Edinburgh a few weeks ago.

The two boys in my host family have been watching The A-Team. I forgot how great that show was. I've also been watching Friends a bit more (finally saw the last ep! awww). And even though I'm not big into cars, my host dad and the older son have gotten me into Top Gear. It's so funny! I hope it's on in America when I get back

Well, I've been here almost a month. Hard to believe! I've been to Windsor, Stratford-upon-Avon, Salisbury and Stonehenge, and this weekend a few of us are going to Bath. Next weekend is my first trip out of the UK, to Austria. Then the week after that is half term - ITALY!!! I'm psyched.

I was happy to find out that The Simpsons is on Sky One over here and that the kids in my family like to watch it. And I've gotten into the X-Factor. Gotta love Simon Cowell!

I'll be flying out to London in FOUR DAYS! I can't believe it. It'll be a great experience being there for three months. But I'll miss my family and friends. And American food. And new episodes of TV shows! Like Prisonbreak, which I watched the first episode and got hooked. And The Simpsons. And some other shows... oh well. Thanks goodness for reruns!

I hate being sick. I had to miss work today - first time (and hopefully last) all summer. But the good thing is I'm able to watch episodes of The Simpsons and The Tick (animated version) that were recorded on TiVo (one of the best inventions ever!) Gotta love those shows... they need to bring The Tick back, as well as get it out on DVD. And it doesn't look like The Simpsons is ending anytime soon... isn't it going to be starting its 17th season soon??
