So funny.... and yet so disturbing....
By the way, I watched the videos, and why not a single question about some sort of continuation that's not an entire 4th season? Minisodes? Epilogueeee???!?!?
And in a previous interview Mike and bryan said they were gonna push for another go with a new Avatar reincarnation. Why no mention of that, at least?
I hope the duo are just keeping quiet for quietness' sake, not because there really won't be anything more.

I took my first good look at my old FF.net stories and friends in a good long while just now. I can't believe I actually wrote those fluffy boatloads of sap... and the reviews! People seemed to love 'em, and I still get reviews every once in a while. I dunno how people find my stories. They've gotta be, what, a few hundred pages in by now.
Anyways, I still don't know if I'm gonna be able to find solace in fanfics again, or if they would just make me feel sad. Reading anything about Avatar when Avatar is now "over" would feel sort of wrong. *sighs*
I wish I had stayed with fics while the show was still running.
And I also wish I had gotten up my websites and forums much sooner than I did. Hell, if I had gotten some up during season one I could've been right up there with ASN at ComiCons and such. I also wish I hadn't neglected fansites during the big break. That massive world Skype chat last night sounded cool.
Avatar was big for Nick. This is one of their shows that definitely won't be forgotten. I'll probably still sneak peeks at the DVDs when I'm 50.

Well, my friends. I don't rightly know how to say it. Avatar's over. These last episodes have been brilliant, witty, warming, and downright epic. The finale, for me.... was amazing. I love Zuko now, Kataang has *finally* arrived, and it was every bit as wonderfully EPIC as I thought it would be. Iroh's new awesome power, the taking-back of Ba Sing Se, Zuko and Azula fighting (very beautifully played), the wonderfully slow degredation of Azula's mind, thinking Katara was gonna die, the all-important fight against the Fire Lord.... it was wonderful. I got goosebumps.
The only things that disappointed me were the somewhat anti-climactic "end"of the Fire Lord (I was seriously ready for Aang to kill somebody, even if it just panned away and you heard a *shink!* or something...) and a few of that more slap-sticky scenes. However, the epicness of the whole ordeal, though a wee bit off-kilter, was all worth it. And did I mention Kataang? *smiles* My life is complete.
As far as TV.com, I'm gonna stick around and try to be a bit more active. Please leave a comment! After that long wait, I miss you guys.
And I already miss Avatar.
PS: What up with the "in memory of Dante DiMartino"? He isn't dead! Or is Wikipedia just slow on the uptake?

Yes, this is copied diretcly frommy rating on my website.
These episodes werebrilliant, flawed, and brilliantly flawed in so many ways one after another that it's a wonder my head didn't just explode. Epic and thrilling to any Avatar fan, and yet failing to excel with some if its plot twists... I felt like so much needn't have happened and that so much more could've happened...
Azula had it all perfectly planned out, basically winning the entire battle in one fell swoop. Ozai played it smart, Zuko had (yet another) character turn, we didn't get to see Iroh's break out, all the old characters we know and love are pretty much screwed (do you REALLY think they would recieve mercy if it were an actual situation?). The whole Gaang made many fatal errors....
Automatically assuming that there would be nothing to finding Ozai...
Aang and co not killing (or at least tying up) and actually believing the man that supposedly led them to the Fire Lord... How stupid can ya' get, Aang? He tricked you. He could've not tricked you and then ran off (unprevented) and pre-warned Ozai of your coming.
None of the main characters seem to display any of the super-strong bending they had in previous episodes, and yet still met really no resistance until after the main section of the fight. Funny, how the bombs and big guns were really only brought out or given effect when the twisty storyline needed it. Aang, the super-powerful-when-he-needed-to-be-in-older-episodes Avatar, seemed suddenly wimpy against a defenseless albeit suddenly and miraculously fast Azula. I know Airbending really has no "big" attacks, but come on! Aang, Toph, you did NOTHING! As usual, the writers have yet again twisted premises from previous episodes to fit their "new and improved" storyline.....
Most of the humour was unoriginal and not really funny, especially that of the "old faces"... Kataang kiss happened too quick after the just-previous faked scene (I know, odd hearing that from me, eh?
) And worse, she didn't even really react...

Odd at parts, but otherwise with some quite good parts and ideas, good humour, but......
I saw the start of the (FAKE) Kataang love moment, I was so happy that I (and my friend who was over) was jumping up and down in my seat, giggling, laughing joyfully, and then BAM! It turned out to be a fake. I AM SO PISSED!
They made us wait that long, finally makes us think there's something, then it turns out to ALL BE FAKE! *punches pillow* They'd better do the real thing, and FAST! but Aang's "underwater" comment and Katara's reaction were funny
I am sad.

19Oct 07Okay eppy, "old lady" gags were unneeded and cheesy, as were the increased anime-style animation gags. Fight scene with Aang was good. Azula's trouble fitting was at times WAY over-stylised, as were the beach and party scenes. Ty-Lee seemed very one-dimensional, though Zuko's thoughtful wanderings and feelings of confusion were nicely played, as was his boredom with Mai. Mai's confession was believably put, and Zuko's recollections were very nicely stylised. Also, Azula's line stating that she WAS a "monster" fell out of evil-character mode and into unnecessary glub. All in all, contained some good points and more weak ones.

I'm soooo frikkin' excited right now!! The new eppie was awesome, from Sokka's antics to Aang's party, right down to.....
KATAANG!!!
I mean. who woulda known they both knew and were adept at the same intimate dance that left them both sweating and looking all lovey like that at each other.
Aang just went for it, and.... YEAH!! Cheesy but AWESOME!This is just great. Iroh's still alive but it was sad to see him, Zuko is still the world's biggest jerk, and Zutara basically has a 0% chance.
