Hey ya all!! It has been a long long time,eh? Well sorry. I'd been real busy. So Merry belated Christmas, Happy belated New Year, Happy belated Valentine's Day and Happy Chinese New Year in advance! (One more day).

I just came back from a three days vacation in Langkawi which was way enjoyable. Let's see what I'd captured.

Yet another photography contest...

Since the international photography result is still pending, I received a consolidation prize for a photo contest organized specially to celebrate my country 49th Independence day.

Well, I'm quite satisfied with the result and is currently plannning to participate for the 50th anniversary coming soon.  

"differentiation - Great photo, what digital camera did you use? Or did you use film?"

It's digital alright, a Sony's cyber-shot DSC-W5. I'm planning to get Canon's 400D, the DSLR.

" Redertainment - I'm sorry if this breaks your heart, but this seems like a scam to me. I sumbitted a poem on a website a couple of years ago, and recieved a letter much like the one you described. I asked a consumer reporter by the name of Bill Gephart, a guy that works in SLC, UT, if this was legit, and according to him it was a complete scam. I'd check out the organization and be very careful before I go forward with this.

I completely understand and noticed there are lots of scams nowadays. Thank you for the advice. I'll check out the web given and be cautious and will sure let you guys know if this is official or if I had really been cheated. *Keep my fingers crossed*

For the rest, thank you for posting comments and the lucks! I'm gonna keep on submitting pictures to any contest I could find. Oh, maybe someone could keep me informed if any contest was run acrossed?

I am so thrilled!!! So excited!!! So...out of breath!!!

I received a letter from The International Library of Photography a few days ago mentioning that my picture is selected to be in the final competing for the International Open Amateur Photography Contest to be held in the Fall of 2006!

What's more, they are requesting to publish my photograph in their forthcoming antology scheduled for publication in the Winter of 2007!

God! I'm gonna get a copy of this photography collection. Really look forward to seeing the book and the work of other photographers from around the world. Can't wait!

Never expect this photo to go far as I have had my doubts choosing the right picture to submit since there's only one allowed. Anyhow, it did and I'm grateful. Ahh...In case you are wondering which picture was selected, take a look below.

Beautiful scene in my hometown. I can't wait to get SLR camera to my next trip in Spain next year! Next year sounds like far away but at the same time, felt so near. Duh! It's October already...

Sure going to have more than 300 pictures when I was there for 2 weeks all over Spain.

I will take better pictures of what were previously captured in two trips to Thailand and all over Malaysia.
