  the new Q from intel

  holly mollly i just got my E8400 less then 27 days and was shocked today to see those Q9xxx series in the market :S

  intel is really pushin it hard this year comeone give us a break

  the new Q series feauture 45 nanmoeter die size and the smallest one the Q9300 6mb l2 cache/fsb 1333 @ 2.50 ghz

  the one above it Q9450 with a gigantic 12 mb l2 cache/fsb 1333 @ 2.66 ghz (thats the one i reallly really wish for lol altho i just got a new one but i dont mind changing for that one lol)

  and the bigger the better the Q9550 12 mb l2 cache/fsb 1333 @ 2.83 ghz the killer one didnt see the extreme edition of those monster yet but i guess they will be out soon enough

  Intel please let us enjoy our cpu's for longer time lol

  finally a decent PC

  yesterday i finally closed my computer case after weeks of giong all over the pc shops to get what i need.

  so now basicaly what i baught was as follow

  a gigabyte P35-DS3R mobo "i regret buying it a loooooot"
  an intel E8400 "i couldnt belive that intel went that cheap regarding the heat think compounds that barely measures half an inch which doest really cool down the processor like the one wih its precedor E6800 or the E6700"

  2x1 gig ddr 2 800fsb kingston "not the best in the market but i went short on money lol"
  and my favorite part an xfx 8800 GT xtreme edition which i really think it deserves every single penny paid in it

  now for the HDD i got 1x500 WD 1x300 Maxtor "both feautures a 16mb cache which is the least for such amount of storage disks and finally my old small 160 gig WD

  i also took my X-Fi extreme music card from my old box along with the HEC 480 U psu and finally i baught an MGE UPS 1100VA nova which will give me sometime to finish my game when the electricity cuts lol.

  voila with the windows vista ultimate edition and service pack am rolling my gamesssss and my music "am still not convinced with vista in gaming but i got no other choice when it comes to showing shader model 4 in games"

  thats all what i got for the moment be tuned for more info soon as i would be getting my HD tv soon to connect that with my box.

  PC upgradeee

  yupii finally got enough money to grab some decent stuff for my new pc

  what i baught

  a full sized case (a brandless cheap thing but optimum for the airflow with 3 12cm ballbearing fans 2 in the back one in the front to support optimum airflow around the case component)

  the processor niahaha my best part an intel E6600 2.4ghz 4mb l2 cache 1066 FSB
  about the motherboard i am not so sure about that board i seleted its an intel GD965WH motherboard

  the board is very stable got some problems only with ddr2 800 rams and is not overclable under any mean
  the good part is it has 6 usb out in the back panel 6 hardware raid sata and a gigabit lan

  for the ram i didnt have a loot of money so i baught kingstone ddr2 5300 fsb667 a kit of 2x1 giag dual channel optimized

  as for the vga i took my x1900xtx from my old rig and hook it to that sys runs smoothlyyy and perfecty well

  my old XFI still works fine so i also hooked it up to my new sys
  i baught an asus dvdrw with lightscribe capabalitie since i always wanted to print on my dvds

  and voila my rig is ready to fly
