  New VGA war

  with the announce of the new ATI 5870 a new war is expected

  introducing DX 11, Shader model 5, 2.7 teraflops and the new technology of Eyefinity what a monster

  1600 shader processors i was shocked when i read that and for 380$ (avergae price on most electronic markets like amazon and new egg) i was even shocked more the card got enough horsepower for the whole building am living to play with me lol

  and still i see some websites put it in comparison with the nvidia Gtx 295 and 285 while i absolutely dont agree in comparing a single core gpu to a dual core gpu i worried that the new generation from nvidia will kick the ATI out in performance

  am an ATI fan by the way i am still till that day that an ATI card delivers better image quality and better textures then nvidia cards while nvidia gives performance and tooo much of vivid colors i dont understand why and nobody ever knew the reason for that but the ATI Nvidia war will continue for ever i guess

  the point i never understood is does nvidia pay for the game developers to optimize the games for their nvidia cards ?
  since almost 80% of the new games high ranked titles got "NVIDIA the way it's ment to be played" logo its like ensuring the nvidia owner that your card is capble of running this game and remind me how many games have the logo of ATI get in the game ? well as far i can remember are only 2 titles and still i would go for ATI for that image quality my freinds tell me am obssessed with but i still feel it

  the point is the war will never end the game producers will never stop and we "The gamers" will never stop debating about Nvidia or ATI cards but i still like to see more competition from both card producers

  the new Q from intel

  holly mollly i just got my E8400 less then 27 days and was shocked today to see those Q9xxx series in the market :S

  intel is really pushin it hard this year comeone give us a break

  the new Q series feauture 45 nanmoeter die size and the smallest one the Q9300 6mb l2 cache/fsb 1333 @ 2.50 ghz

  the one above it Q9450 with a gigantic 12 mb l2 cache/fsb 1333 @ 2.66 ghz (thats the one i reallly really wish for lol altho i just got a new one but i dont mind changing for that one lol)

  and the bigger the better the Q9550 12 mb l2 cache/fsb 1333 @ 2.83 ghz the killer one didnt see the extreme edition of those monster yet but i guess they will be out soon enough

  Intel please let us enjoy our cpu's for longer time lol

  finally a decent PC

  yesterday i finally closed my computer case after weeks of giong all over the pc shops to get what i need.

  so now basicaly what i baught was as follow

  a gigabyte P35-DS3R mobo "i regret buying it a loooooot"
  an intel E8400 "i couldnt belive that intel went that cheap regarding the heat think compounds that barely measures half an inch which doest really cool down the processor like the one wih its precedor E6800 or the E6700"

  2x1 gig ddr 2 800fsb kingston "not the best in the market but i went short on money lol"
  and my favorite part an xfx 8800 GT xtreme edition which i really think it deserves every single penny paid in it

  now for the HDD i got 1x500 WD 1x300 Maxtor "both feautures a 16mb cache which is the least for such amount of storage disks and finally my old small 160 gig WD

  i also took my X-Fi extreme music card from my old box along with the HEC 480 U psu and finally i baught an MGE UPS 1100VA nova which will give me sometime to finish my game when the electricity cuts lol.

  voila with the windows vista ultimate edition and service pack am rolling my gamesssss and my music "am still not convinced with vista in gaming but i got no other choice when it comes to showing shader model 4 in games"

  thats all what i got for the moment be tuned for more info soon as i would be getting my HD tv soon to connect that with my box.
