I haven't written a blog in, like, foreverish.

Volleyball preseason has been going well. Any other volleyball players out there? I'm on my high school's varsity team, and I'm a libero, the person who's in the back passing all the time. I'm having lots of fun.

I've been missing Avatar a lot. I am always having dreams about it, either I'm in the Avatar world or I'm just watching one of those new minisodes where something completely random happens, like Pakku knocking Katara up and so forth.

I'm itching for that new Heroes season, too. That shall fill the void.

Plus! I'm excited for the new Sims 2 expansion pack, Apartment Life. Your Simmies get to live in apartments, plus they can learn witchcraft! I'm so pumped.

Speaking of witches, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince gets moved back?! Ugh, WB, why must you hurt me in this way? You make me so sad. Don't come out with a date only to crush our dreams with an added 200+ days to wait!

Anyone read the book The Lexus and the Olive Tree? I need some major help on my AP Human Geography essay.

    is Zuko's mommy?
I mean, sure, it was the most EPIC two hours of television I've ever seen, let alone anything from a "kid's" network. And, yeah, my ship didn't exactly prevail (hey, as a Zutarian, it got as close as it was gonna get, but I was satisfied). And yeah, I still don't get Soulbending or whatever Aang did.
    But where's Zuko's mommy?!
Bryke damn well better adress that topic next ComicCon or "one hour movie special," because I will not be truly at rest until I know. For gods sake, they DANGLED it in front of our NOSES in the LAST THREE MINUTES of Avatar, period. Well, I do have to admit, it was damn amazing, and I've never said "holy **** (or something similar that rhymes with "hit") that many times a row in my life. Sad part is, my VCR (yes, VCR) missed three quarters of Part 4. Groan. But wow. That's all i can say. Gawd, I hate typing on the iTouch!!

Hey everyone! How epic were some of those commershes? Ah, I am so pumped for the finale!

For tonight's episode, I have all the essentials:

IBC Rootbeer, Costco choco-chip muffins, Sun Chips, news that my laptop has come in to Best Buy while being gone for a month, and, of course, one of the most exciting episodes this series has seen! So, in light of this fact, I am going to write down my predicts for all of humanity to laugh or laud in an hour and a half.

    1. "The Hug" happens at the very end of this episode.

    2. Katara, at first, wants to kill the guy who killed her mom, but Zuko convinces her not to. Kinda like a "You don't want to be the kind of person he is" or whatevs.

    3. FLASHBACK! We get to see to story of the Southern Raids with visuals of Katara's mom. Hey, if we can see Ozai after the hiding of the first two seasons, we can see Kataramom. Did we ever find out her name?

    4. No Azula in this episode.

    5. Zuko doesn't find his mom in this ep, but he figures out where she might be. Oh, and along with this, i think it's Ursa's voice in that new epic Final Battle commersh.

Eh, that's all I have now. Frankly, I just wanna watch the freakin' episode. I'm looking forward to this one more than EIP and even closely to the finale just because this episode is still shrouded in mystery.

AHHH! The epicness!! I can't write anymore; I must go take a Chill Pill!!

Ah, its that time that we've all been waiting for, and no, it's not legalization of marijuanna or the joining of North and South Dakota. It's even better.

Avatar is returning for one last hurrah, with new (well, you know) episodes all this week leading up to a two-hour grand finale on Saturday. "Pumped" is quite an understatement at this point. My DVR is set to record the Nicktoons "Every Episode of Avatar Ever Made" marathon, ending with six never-before-seen episodes, including one that HASN'T been spoiled (SR). So, the question is: are you ready?

    I've gone and made myself a t-shirt:

I'm also going to frequent the TV.com boards all this week, maybe jam to some Track Team Avatar songs, and, most importantly, reflect on how this show has changed my life.

Hope you guys have a great week.

six nights. ten episodes. one last time.

Hay guys! Two stories. First order of business, my iPod Touch is driving me insane. Ok, so, I'm just trying to jailbreak it, no biggie (I've hacked into it before), and it's giving me crap! I've had to reset it about 6 times tonight. I was the first of my friends to hack when I got it at Christmas, and then I got bored and uninstalled it. But then my friend Ryan comes in to class with ZOMG POKEMON on his iPod touch, so now I'm jealous. I WANT MY POKEMON! So I've been a technology slave for the past 3 hours trying to figure this darned thing out.

Additionally, in case y'all over at the Avatar boards haven't heard, our beloved Sgt. Hydra hath been banned. He really brightened my day with all his witty posts and interesting input to discussions. Sure, sometimes he went overboard, but who doesn't? It would be against his very principles to be normal. So, therefore, I'm observing a 72-hour-no-posting-on-teh-boards vigil in honor of a fallen comrade.

July? JULY?! Nick can't be serious! That's like...3 months from now! And that's when new eps START. Who knows when they'll finish? I know 7/29 is the finale on DVD, but still, will this season span from September to September? This is the exact opposite of Harry Potter. Now, we're waitng for FOREVER for the end, when HP's end came too fast. Whatever.

    http://jmcoolie.deviantart.com/art/July-83333151

But, hey, other than that, all the stuff we got was AWESOME! Obviously, I'm not gonna go into detail, but that once-dry river of my ship may start a-flowin' again. I just hope they don't butcher the ending. Like Gilmore Girls. Or the HP epilogue *gags*

    In other news...

Back in the good ol' days of Catholic school, we always joked that on our Religion tests, if you didn't know the answer, just put "love" and you'll probably get it right. Well, this time, love is not the answer. We had this fun priest come to our church today, and during the sermon, he was saying how we "wallow in love." Then, he asks this nine-year-old boy "What do we make in church?" The kid's like, what? So the priest says again, "We make..." and the kid goes, "love?"

I nearly peed my pants. If that wasn't the best mass I even stayed awake through, I don't know what is.

    Cheerio, my good friends.

Hey, all! Never thought I'd see the day - I've gotten to level ten, and I've been persuing the boards for two years now! I honestly don't know where I'd get my juicy insider knowledge to all my favorite shows (and the laughs that ensue) without good ol' TV dot com. I'd never have known that Canadians got Avatar first. I'd never have known when Heroes comes back. And where would I re-live all my favorite CSI quotes? Everything and everyone here have been really fun. So, thanks everybody for making life a little bit sweeter!

I'm gonna re-update my fave shows, get on the boards more often (just in time for Avatar series finale!) and be an all-around better person. Yay!

I've missed everyone, too, in my time not being here! I've forgotten how funny everyone is over on the boards. Seriously, I was peeing my pants the day after the KCAs and how everyone was reacting. =]

    Well, have a nice day

    Egads! A blog?! Fo sho!

So, the talk of the school this week? A burn book. Yes, like the one from Mean Girls. Yet this one's not funny, because a. it personally attacks and tells lies of lots of my friends and b. uses a pathetic vocabulary mostly of f, s, and n words. And I thought that stuff was only on TV. Or sappy Lifetime Channel movies.

So, after watching Day of Black Sun again (which I hope y'all have), I thought of, yet another, brilliant deviant art piece for Avatar. View hurr: http://jmcoolie.deviantart.com/art/Vote-For-Zuko-71305960. I'm planning one or two more. The next one, I'll give a hint, involves some dirty business.

Aaaaand the number-one hot item? An iPod Touch. I've been saving up money ever since it came out, and it's amaaazing. Plus? My only year and a half year old iPod Video (which I bought myself) has died. Screen? Broken. Now it's a $300 shuffle. So, I'm really wanting an iPod Touch. But my parents were like "Oh, we were gonna get it for you for Christmas!" And I was like "Noooo I want to save my money!!" So idk. If they do it, I'll live with it. Tee hee.

Final Thoughts: Are you the one they call

    ***SPOILER***

  • 18Nov 07

Heyy peoples! Guess what? IT MA BIRFFDAY! Mi quincerna, or whatever they call it. The big 1-5. And what BETTER way to spend it than in Laguna Beach, California? Yep, I'm having a blast in CA so far. It's been a little chilly (oh, darn, 65. It was supposed to snow back home in PA) but overall amazing. Darn jet lag, though, i was in bed at 8:30, because technically I'd been awake since 3 AM CA time.

So, on the plane ride, after watching HPot5, I watched "Nightmares and Daydreams" cause I wasn't home last night. And, just in case, I got DOBS 1 and 2 on the lappy in case Nick would delay it anymore. So, as me and bro kicked back and watched N+D, we were sitting there like, "Ok. We have the next two eps, not to air for another two weeks. Then a two-month break. Um.... PLAY" So we caved. I watched DOBS.

    ***SPOILER***
Now, I know not alot of Heroes people are reading this, but I saw Sylar and Bob yesterday. Not the real ones (though we were in Hollywood, and I saw some cool stuff) but people walking around looking exactly like them. Weird.

Ok, thanks for reading! I'll get some fun photos when I come back Thursady!!

Hola, amigos. Well, I've had one of the best weekends like, ever. My parents went to the OBX for the weekend to settle on our NEW beach house! w00t w00t. So I have my 18-year-old cousin babysitting us. So what do we do? We make Dunkin' Donuts coffee, get 300 on-demand, sit back, and quote the movie the whole rest of the night. Then watch The Puppetmaster. Then have heart palpitations. So I'm completely hyper right now, so I do sit-ups and read Great Expectations to calm me. Saturday morning, I wake up at 5. >_> We jump in the car and go to the new outlets that just opened up outside town. Wait in line for an hour. Get bored. Bail and go to the KOP mall. Have a shopping SPREE with my friend with my 75 bucks for my birthday present (teh 18th!!!). Then go watch the school play, Little Women, and want to gouge my eyes out. It was that. bad. Then I go to some volleyball tryouts and eat stuffed-crust pizza. Plus the Eagles came back FTW. So, all in all, great weekend.

Secondly, DAMNIT I'm not gonna watch DOBS online! But I'm going to get UBER spoilt if I continue to browse the boards here. So, I have made the descision to not come to the Avatar boards until I have seen DOBS (which, due to my caving-in, may come earlier than the 30th).

I'm going to SoCal for Thanksgiving weekend for my birffday, guys! On a Cali beach for my birthday pwns all.

Alrighty, people. This week, I'm just willy-nilly "Oh hey, let's see TV.com today." And what do I find? As always, the British are messin' things up. They have four or five eps America won't get for another month? And they've gone and a. put them online and b. invaded the boards? Yep. So now I'm afraid to go on the boards, because I really, really, really don't want to get spoiled. I mean, I could totally just go and watch 7,8, and 9 right now if I wanted. But am I gonna do that? No. I'm gonna be a good girl and wait.

Avatar and the Fire Lord was kick-butt.

Plus, I got to be a Senator for a Day. We went to De Sales University and met with some state senator guy and we went into comittees to debate real bills (of course, our outcome would be irrelevant). The best one was upping the gas taz to provide extra funds to mass transit. Um, hello? People who use the subways and the buses don't need to buy gas, so us folks in the 'burbs with cars would be paying for city slickers to ride the bus. No taxation without representation! (and, of course, I said that in front of like 100 kids and news cameras. Needless to say, I got a few chuckled from them intelligent people.)

    The bill failed.

Yes, so it has been raining cats and dogs and pigs and boas for the past, like, 3 days now. only 38 to go.

So guys, I'm level 9! Yaaay. Life is fine at level nine.

So, tonight's the homecoming football game, and then the homecoming dance is tommorow night. So syked. I don't have a date, but that's ok, going with my friend after our volleyball tournament (which BETTER end before 6) So it's kinda cool. First homecoming. Yay.

Sooo, I watched CSI last night. That episode was...interesting. But the best part? Grissom's alleged proposal. Like, the GSRs are spasmodic. Vocab word. If only my selected ship had such a moment...sigh...

So I lost my election. To the kid named Matt. Who promised thicker toilet paper. So, i've determined that if that's where the class of 2011 puts their priorities, then they can go scrambling three years from now for a trip to Delaware or something. Yaay.

Sokka's Master tonight! w00t but I won't see it till after the football game. Ah, well.

Hi everyone. Too bad no one read my previous blog. It was quite entertaining.

So, guys. Today? It was pretty SWEET, judging by how it was the Avatar season premiere. It just kinda made my whole day look better. Until just half an hour ago, which I will get to.

I thought it was, like "The Avatar Sate," not the most amazing episode in the world, but still a pretty good opener. Some major corn alerts, but other than that, not bad. The best part, in my opinion, was the whole Azula-Ozai-Zuko triangle thing. Quite creative plot twistiness. All I wanna know is, why did we not make the connection to Zuko knowing about the oasis water? We're not good thinkers.

So, update JM '08 - I have competition. His name is Kevin. And he is giving out pens. And sending me semi-threatening messages on Facebook. Yaaaay.

Plus, I just got done turning this boy down for Homecoming. Not like he's been trying to ask me out for the past year now *sarcasm* Borederline stalker-ish. Yeah. I thought he was cool and all in school last year, but boyfriend? Uh, no. And now he thinks he can just be like, "Hey, when you said last year you wanted to wait for highschool..." No. NO! Now stop Imming me.

    Happy Sunday, y'all.

First on the agenda, less than a week until Avatar's 3rd Season. I'm quite excited, even though trough YouTube I've already seen about 5 minutes of the episode between the cell phone vid and another clip of Aang and Roku. I've gone and made a list of all my predictions (like I did for POTC3 and Deathly Hallows.) Highly suggest it, because looking back in a few months time, you'll see how crazy your ideas sounded, or how ESP-like you were. I've got a can of Mug root beer hidden in the back of the fridge so it's there for Friday night. To he|| with the football game; they'll be more action and drama at 8:30, 7:30c!

Next: I am running for president. JM '08. Yes, you are now reading the blog of a Class President candidate for the 07-08 schoolyear. I've already been told by various people I'll win because, as friend Kate said, "You're such an over-achiever." Plus, I'll promise to save money for our prom and class trip to Hawaii or something. So I've already made a sign: the Uncle Sam "I Want You," but I WordArt'd "to vote for me" in, and it looks spiffy. Spiffiness shall conquer all.

Then, finally, a story about My New Best Friend Jonathan Storm from the Philly inquirer. So I made a thread like a week or so ago asking for suggestions, and I finally sent Mr. Storm, the Inquirer's TV Critic, a nice little e-mail about all the wonderfulness of Avatar. I mentioned the 18 million viewvers and the Emmy awards and nominations, the live-action movie and the roller coaster. I get an e-mail a day or so later asking a. If I was really 14 (like I said I was. Answer: yes) b. If I really wrote the letter (no, i had my mom do it. YES, I wrote the letter!) and c. If I did the research (does Wikipedia constitute as research?) He said he would continue if I replied. SoI responded, without the sarcasm, and waited. It was this morning, almost a week later, when I decided to send him a "hey-are-you-gonna-ever-get-back-to-me-on-that?" e-mail, and I got an almost instantaneous reply. He said there's not much to do with Avatar now "because it's 3 years old" (um, so Ugly Betty's like one season, and you LOVE that show, what's your point?) but he said the show "and me" are on his radar, so'stay tuned.' =] Plus, he wants me to give him a shout if I hear about developments in the live-action movie or when the complete S2 DVD set comes out. So I thought that whole thing was pretty cool, even though nothing really happened. Oh, well, freedom of speech!

In a close, in case none of you have seen it, this is what curbed by AWS thoughtout the past few months: http://kimchicrusader.deviantart.com/art/Avatar-TLA-in-a-Nutshell-Ep-9-27146312

Yep, somebody started high school on Wednesday. I got to my classes relatively well, and all in all, it wasn't all that bad. We got to save trees, take a test on presidents and meet some German and French kids. Plus, with volleyball practice afterwards, when I got home at 6:30 from almost 11 hours at school, I so tired all I could do was flop on the couch and watch COPS.

So, I'm starting to get really excited fir the new Avatar season, but the boards here on TV.com just aren't the same. I checked back a little this weekend because I was very bored, and while some posts got me a few laughs, it's nothing like it used to be. Hopefully, it'll pick up again once the new season starts, or maybe the AWS fueled all the fun. Who knows.

So, I'm going to the mall today to get my free pair of American Eagle jeans. I went and bought Hipster styled jeans from AE, and lo and behold, that fit won the 'Fit Challenge,' so I can go and get a $60 pair of jeans TOE-TUH-LEE free! Hoorah.

I leave you, now, with a quote: All your base are belong to us!

    Holy.Schnauzer.

Kay, so I just watched the Avatar Season 3 Trailer.

That was also my face after viewing. But the real screaming came when I saw Zuko and Mai...you know.... (yes, I literally screamed, making the dog go crazy.)

It...loooks...amazing.... Seriously, I'm going to sleep now, though, because it's vacation time tomorrow mornin', but don't worry, there's internet at the beach. Once I view it a few times more, I'll post my real thoughts.

Snapple Fact # 63: September 21st just seemed a heck of a lot closer =]

'Tis official: I'm going to die.

Well, last night, I was walking my dog in the construction area behind our house. And it was dark. And I kinda tripped and my ankle twisted in an ungodly way, and the pain was so gut-wrenching I had to limp all the way home. Let me tell you something, mister, it's bad. I'm wearing my mom's old boot from when she broke her foot, but it only helps so much.

And the next four weeks are not exactly the best time.

See, I'm leaving in a few hours for Bethany Beach in Delaware (neighbors have a house, boat) (that is, unless we go take a visit to the foot 'n' ankle doctor, like my dad is threatening), coming back late Sunday, then that whole next week is volleyball camp. Then we're going on a weeklong trip to Avalon, NJ, with my best friend.

No time for an immobile leg, eh?

Moving on.... HARRY POTTER 7 COMES OUT IN LESS THAN 16 HOURS!!!!1 I don't think I'll be getting it at m idnight (neighbors wouldn't like us getting home in the wee hours) but I'm gonna get it at 9AM and then spend the rest of th day on a boat, reading. Sounds. Like. Fun.

Ah! I can't wait. I've typed up all my predictions and everything, and, like with POTC3, it'll be fun to look back when I come back home and see if I was right or not. Huzzah!

Also, I've been promoted to Level 8. I'm really not sure how; one day I'm like 78% Level 7 and then I'm 16% Level 8. Works, though, eh?

Also, I'm pretty stoked that the airdate for Avatar Season 3 is set. Now I can write the date on my calendar. Hate to say I told ya so =D

    Pce out grl scout!

Yes, people, after slaving over a hot keyboard for the past couple of days, I've created my very own Season 3 Image Thing-a-mabob! Aren't you jealous?

Yes, I know. I made it in Paint with goold ol' "Copy-n-Paste" technique. But I think it's just splendid. The flames are courtesy of =BlackScarletLove @ deviantArt. He's hurr.

On another note: 90% sure of Sept. 21st eh? Well, now, isn't that just a coincidence? I devote my entire last blog to my "21st Night of September" theory, and viola! We get this little blurb. Wahoo! (incidentaly, a wahoo is a type of fish my daddy and I caught in the Dominican Republic. The one he reeled in was almost 4 feet long!)

So... LYKE OMG SQUEE it's almost July 21st! And you know what that means... HP7!!!1 Yes, I am super, super syked. I saw the movie. Two outta four stars. And it gets one star just for Luna Lovegood, aka Evanna Lynch. Outstanding performance. Trio? Eh.

Your task: Someone please tell me how to do the clickable "SPOILER" thing? Thanks.

  • 10Jul 07

Alrighty, people, I have uncovered a conspiracy larger than Watergate, da Vinci Code, and the Evil Kitties combined.

    The Season 3 release date.

So we were sent this article (http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=7629), and after reading it over a few times (and staring, open-mouthed at the sight of Aang with hair), knew that the release date for the first boxed set would be October 30. So, I simply walked over to my Westie calendar and counted back five Fridays. And I came to September 28th. So I began to get excited. Hoorah, that's the latest it could be!

But then, something hit me. I looked up at the Friday before that.

    September 21st.

    And then, it hit me.

I began to sing a song we had to perform for chorus.

Do you remember / the twenty-first night of September? / Love was changing the minds /of pretenders...

The night of the 21st. I concluded, would be a very memorable night. And love could certainly change the minds of more than one character.

But wait! I thought to myself. What was the name of this band? With shaky fingers, I typed in Wikipedia, because I thought I knew the answer. I did.

    Earth, Wind & Fire.

    Tell me that's a coincidence.

So I've got it. Mike and Bryan are both Earth, Wind and Fire fans, and the band name inspired them to make a cartoon about the ****cal elements. And to then pay homage to those who help them think up the idea, they put the season premiere on September 21st, the topic of one of their most famous songs!

    *SLAP*

Whew, sorry about that, guys. It's a bit of a stretch, I know. But still, for those 3 minutes of discovery, I felt the rush all over again.

    Please, someone agree with me!

P.S. - Aang's got black hair? Katara looks like Ursa? Sokka's got ... a stick?
