Naruto: Rise Of A Ninja - Update
1/6-2008 Completed approximately 50% of the game now.
Recent happening; summoning Gamabunta.
Not much I can add for today. I've discovered a few bugs and glitches but nothing major. Something I forgot to mention in the previous entries was what a shame it is that you cannot have the original Japanese audio.* It's also too bad that some sequences are censoured (Blood taken away and such.) but I guess the game wouldn't be 12+ if they wouldn't have done that. The area outside of Konoha is a tad disappointing as well, I might've mentioned that in previous entries though.
The Chuunin Exam was so-so. It wasn't bad but it wasn't that good either. I guess the fact that you're forced to follow the original story line can have something to do with that, not as many options and paths to take.
Running around in Konoha, collecting coins and taking on side missions is quite fun though. The city is like I've mentioned before, kinda huge and pretty well detailed. This game is a must buy for people that are into the Naruto Anime. I would probably recommend it to people that haven't even heard of Naruto as well.
Naruto Anime Fans: Must Buy.
Other Various Gamers: The game is definitely worth the money.
If I have the time I will try to write a review for this game when I've completed it.
* [UPDATE] I found out that you CAN indeed have japanese audio. It is possible to download it from the exclusive content shop for free.
This entry was written by a tired man who hasn't gotten any sleep in a few days, insomnia sure is awesome, am I right?! So I ask you to excuse any grammar issues and typos if any of them happen to occur in the text. -

Been playing Naruto: Rise Of A Ninja.
31/5-2008 It's better than I expected!
After I got home from the garage I had dinner and inserted the Naruto: Rise Of A Ninja Game-DVD into the Xbox 360.
Where I am in the game? I'm supposed to get to the Forrest Of Death now.
I'm a bit disappointed (This, I mentioned in my last blog entry.) that they didn't work on the out-of-city enemies a bit more. It's just three different types of bandits and occasionally some "Genin Ninja". Other than that, the game has been really good so far. Some of the side missions can get a bit repetitive but it's nothing big.
I checked the 1v1 mode and all I can say is that I'm very amazed how good they managed to balance all the character in terms of skill and power. Of course it can get a bit annoying when you're playing as Orochimaru and doing everything you can but still getting your ass handed to you by Naruto, heh. But to be honest, I'd rather have the characters completely balanced than having someone (Orochimaru for example.) kicking everyones' asses. The game basically starts from episode 1, and ends around 80. So if they had gone with "real" skills and power that they've shown in the anime, Orochimaru would be impossible to beat, IMPOSSIBLE.
At this point, I'm giving the game 8.5/10. The chuunin exam seems fun and interesting so I might just give it a higher score when I've played through that saga.

Purchase of Xbox 360 Elite and four games.
30/5-2008 Today I finally purchased Xbox 360 Elite!
Today I bought the Xbox 360 Elite along with Halo 3, Gears Of War, Naruto: Rise Of A Ninja, Assassin's Creed, 13 Months Live Gold and a VGA cable.
Unfortunately the fans are pretty loud but what can I say, I'd rather have the 360 being noisy than have it overheat.
So far I've tried out the Naruto game and Halo 3. God damn it's hard to play FPS with a gamepad!
Naruto:
+ The Konoha city is pretty HUGE.
+ The jutsu controls are easy to use and remember.
+ The game has a nice feeling to it.
+ This game is godlike compared to the previous Naruto games. The graphics are pretty good as well, definitely not something to complain about.
- The god damn bandits, they could've worked on that aspect of the game a bit more.
- It seems to be rather short. I've only played for 30-45 minutes but I've still gotten quite far in the game.
The good things about the game definitely overweight the bad things, even more so if you're a fan of the anime series.
Halo 3:
+ Very good graphics.
+ Very cool environment.
+ Easy to learn controls. (Except aiming with the game-pad if you're used to Mouse + Keyboard.)
+ Cool guns.
- Hard to play a FPS game with a gamepad. This is something you can get used to though so it's not really a big problem.
Since I haven't played Halo 3 that much, I don't really have that much more to say about the game.
I'm very psyched about Assassin's Creed and Gears Of War, I'll probably try them out today even though it's starting to get a bit late.
