Ok so i bought a new one so this isn't such an emergency BUT, i'd really like to use my old ipod classic 30 GB for work. Now the dilemma...I hook up to my window's format computer and my computer will no longer even recognize that the ipod is plugged in. It says that it needs to be reformatted which i sometimes can get itunes to see that it's plugged in once in a while. I do start the reformat process but it always stops me and gives me an error code which is ERROR 1473. This is not a typo and I only say that because I as well as the apple tech I talked to couldn't find the code at all...
I've called apple support and the guy was not helpful at all. I've also looked at all the pages on apples webpage for help but no go.
Had the iPod for 3 years so warrenty is deff gone.
If someone has a better idea please i'm all ears. Any questions that may help for an answer please ask and i'll get back as soon as i can.

Lol can't seem to stop having problems lately in the gaming industry. First of all i'm trying to complete all the extra's on Assassin's Creed for XBOX 360. Getting frustrated with the amount of flags.
Anyone know a map with all flags and templars marked i'd be really thankful.
Secondly I've been trying to be mroe active in the world of gamespot.com but as much as I do I can't seem to get away from Level 20. Seemingly I've been stuck at 97% for the last 6 months. But then again maybe i'm just not active enough lol.

24Oct 08Well there's not alot going on in the world of gaming for me, Rented some games to keep myself amused on my birthday lol, partying will come later lol. Not much to report either, almost feels like i've been slacking in my gaming. No time to play just lots and lots of courses to take and study for! Which i guess on the other hand is a good thing. Other than that I dunno what to say. Just needed to post something to keep my profile alive lol

I don't even know why i'm posting cause i really don't have anything of value to report to you guys...Other than my 360 has been working perfectly lately
Bout time lol. Not much in the firefighting profession. I got voted into an officers position on my department so that's cool. I never thought that a volunteer department could be so rewarding, next month we will be training for First Responders and will be able to do basic first aid. Also Rescue Training (Jaws of life, Cutters, Spreaders etc.) I'm stoked!!! Anyways tty all later

23Jul 08Ok I'm confused, again. Jeez. Well this time my question is about gamespot. As many of you know I recently had a 1 day suspension. My problem is that i seem to have lost the last 5 or so blog posts that i wrote. What happened to them? Or does gamespot.com just like to delete the past few posts after suspensions?

13Jun 08It's been a while since my last post, so I really actually have nothing to report. Been doing a lot of volunteer work with the fire departmnet i'm with. Lots of community events like pancake breakfast's, kids events like soap box derby's and a really sweet annual demolition derby. Other than that nothing...

Well i finally got my xbox back, in perfect working order i might add. Pretty amazing to me that it actually got fixed!
To be honest, I really didn't miss it much. I got more done in the real world without it lol. But life is complete again i guess, continually playing Assassin's creed which i have been wanting to do for a long time lol. Other than that Everything's slow. So until next time this post was a complete waste of your time lol

New news in the dilema of the broken xbox
...I do have to send it off, it's good though cause i still got warrenty so it's all good. But for some reason what the lady told me just sounded too good to be true, considereing the UPS guy was supposed to drop off a box at my house so i could send off my 360 lol
w/e though, I can't tell you how excited I am not to have problems with the thing when it finally comes back. I'm trying to be positive and relaxed about this whole thing considering alot of things lol. Well I'll let you know what develops when i get the console sent off
for now ttyl And Happy Easter To Everyone!!!- Posted Mar 23, 2008 12:23 pm PT

12Mar 08Ok so just when I though my troubles with the XBOX were over...It started again! I tried doing the remove the hard drive thing but to no avail~so tomorrow I'm gonna call up Microsoft again! I hate to say but I really thought I waited long enough for Microsoft to work out the major system bugs...I was wrong! I was also wrong on the account that there were 4 red lights when my system tired to load up a game disc. There are only 3, it was hard to tell since the machine was at lower than eye level and I swore that all the lights were on lol...
O.K. so after I get this mess sorted out I'll let u guys know the outcome, I'm fearing that I will have to send it off afterall!

5Mar 08So I took your guy's advice and contacted Microsoft directly, the lady I talked to was pretty helpful. Unfortunetly for me it was a stupid fix (May be temperary but she said 9 times outta 10 it works) So anyhoo she told me to shut the console off and take the hard drive off, turn the console on and let load up with a game in, turn off console, then reinstall the hard drive. I felt so incredibly stupid cause I don't know anything about XBOX's. But I would like to thank those who posted so promptly: HolteEnder4 Life, BiggsWedge (Biggs lol
) and mav_destroyer!

Ok so apparently I stuggle with basic stuff like turning a console on! But just for my benifit of doubt, can anyone tell me what the proper way OR what the tried, tested and true method of turning an XBOX 360 on without the friggin' red ring coming up all the time? I don't mean to bother you guy's with the little things but I'm having a time trying to figure everything out in the Microsoft world (not including my computer lol)
Thanks Guys!

For anyone that may be even remotly interested, and I must say this surprises me that I've gone this far...more training for local volunteer fire departments is coming up! B.C. Fire Fighter 1 is the next course coming up. This course will allow us a National (Canadain) course that will basically say that we have been trained and are qualified for structure/semi interface fires! Really cool stuff for me anyways
!! As for the gaming world for myself, I've taken up playing Oblivian for the 360. I'm finding it extrememly addictive and sometimes loose track of time cause i want to get all of the current missions complete before i take on new ones. Which is proving kind of hard cause sometimes more comes onto my plate since you basically have to talk to everyone in the game to proceed lol. Things have slowed down abit lately so i've been able to play afew video games in between studying!
In case anyone is interested and live's or know's people in British Columbia, Canada. Please visit this site for British Columbia Fire Service (BCFS) updates!
Well that's enough of your time wasted, Adios!

Ok so last time I posted a blog, I admit I was kind of pissed. But I have received my computer back and it seems to be in working order. The keypad is working ok as we as well as the keyboard. So we'll see I guess. Besides this little bit of seemingly exciting news on my behalf lol There has been no new updates in the firefighting world. No MVI's (Motor Vehicle Inncidents)lately which is good. So this is a short one.
For now we'll say farewell to the gameing/blog world!
Later!

4 weeks ago I sent my computer away for physical damage that was avaliable to get fixed by warrenty work! I was happy cause I didn't have to pay for repairs. On my laptop the right click button was loose. A small piece broke off and somehow wedged itself under me "m" key on the keyboard. The guys at future shop (the equivilant of circuit city in the U.S.) said that it was a common break on this particualr model and would mean a brand new mouse pad installation! This made me happy:!
They guy drew up the paperwork showing the damages and said 2 weeks max it would come back. The papers also stated 'do not touch hard drive!'. Ok life is good. This was fine, I thought the place where it was shipped to had smart people who knew how to read. Well with my luck everything went to hell. I called future shop and they said the computer was in. (They also told me that they would call when it returned, which is why I called at the 2 week mark cause NO PHONE CALL!!!) So anyways I do a once over on the repairs and came unglued! The right click was still broked AND THE PAPERWORK THAT CAME BACK WITH IT SAID NEW HARD DRIVE INSTALLED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
$(#(*% #*$%@#*. Ok so I know it wasen't his fault so I calmed down. Themanager came out and personally started to make things better. At this point I wanted to kill but kept it inside and waited for another snap fest that never came lol. He sent it back and another 2 weeks goes by and I get a phone call from future shop that the comuter is ready and I could pick it up. I should say that I live 2 hours away from the nearest future shop. The manager offered to send my computer back to me by bus for no charge but I said no cause with my luck it would come back in pieces. I go to pick it up and everything seems fine. I'm using it to type this so I guess it's ok. This just goes to show the shotty workmanship these days. No one cares about anyone elses stuff anymore and it's time peoplespoke up or better yet did something which is why I write this. Just think, the people that screw stuff up that is clearly writen down for them, also vote!

I would like to know if you can use a LCD Flat Screen computer monitor with an xbox 360? The reason I want to know this is that monitors are smaller and cheaper. Lets just say it's more in my price range right now. Now if you can hook up, what is used for sound? Is there a jack on the back of the monitor that allows computer speakers or what? I know this is going to sound really retarded to most of you, all of these questions that I have inquired about...but it's taking me some time to get to know about the xbox system since I've never had one before. Any references to websites or answers anyone can come up with would be great. And thank you
!

Ok so Nothing is happening. I live in a town that honestly has nothing in it, and apart from playing the occasional game of ice hockey as well as wanting to play assasins creed really badly lol, THERE IS NOTHING! Had no fire calls lately which is weird because it's MVI season (Motor Vehicle Incident). Being winter you'd think there was something. Now Suggestions would be nice lol. And because I haven't submitted a blog post ina while, I guess that was it lol. And in conclusion, unfortunetly for you, this was a collosal waste of your time!
