16May 07
Tis true. I decided last tuesday, May 8th, that instead of repairing my current vehicle I would go and browse new ones. My repairs to my vehicle at the time would run about $1,200 and even my mechanic said that fixing my old car would in the end, not be worth it.
So I hopped over to the Toyota dealership in town, and after a few hours, a test drive and my girlfriend giving the salesman what for, I drove away with a Polar White 2007 Toyota Yaris Sedan. I absolutely love it too. It's an automatic, has A/C and a built in CD player with a jack for my iPod. It is my first new car I've ever bought. Given the last car I drove was a 95, I'd say this is quite an improvement.

12Dec 06I have wanted a Wii for a long time now and now that it's out I will definately be getting one. BUT! I have a Wii bit of a problem. THERE ARE NO WIIS! Everywhere I go they are sold out. I have seen dozens of PS3 in stores, but do I want a PS3? No. I have it reserved, heck I even have games for it, but can I play them? Again, no. I tried putting it into my Xbox 360 and my it laughed at me and made the 1-up sound as it spat back my disk.
Will I eventually obtain a Wii? Sure. Will it be before the holiday is over. The outlook is highly unlikely.

17Oct 06OMG! Phantasy Star Universe will be out next week on the 25th. There is just one thing that would keep me from being there when the stores open...work. And I'm trying to get off so I can be first in line. My friend at Gamestop says that there will definately be a rush on the game and whoever does not have it reserved WILL NOT GET A COPY!
So reserve it, pick it up and add "wasabikun" to your friends list so we can party together. I was a level 10 at the end of the beta and know my way around very well.
See you there. Oh and for my unions, I might be inactive next week or so.

28Feb 06
here's the deal. i'm new to xbox live. so, i started buying points and downloading basically everything i saw. you know what i mean, themes, demos, pics and arcade titles.
i looked at my cc statement and low and behold i had spent nearly $200, that 4,000,000 in canadian dollars for my canadian readers. i love those classic arcade titles. just check my games.
so i pose this question.
Has anyone found themselves in the same predicament?- Posted Feb 28, 2006 12:48 pm PT

14Feb 068.7 "what was that sound, oh just an axe-wielding maniac"
Condemned: Criminal Origins is one of if not the scariest and most entertaining survivor horror game out.
The visuals:
Condemned has the best visuals of a survivor horror game to date. Every location (as similar as they may be) is beautifully polished to look down right dreadful in appearance (in a good way). There is grime, dirt, blood and stains I can't even begin to guess what they are all over the environments. The character models are absolutely vile (also in a good way) varying from emaciated fast crawlers to hulking powerhouses.
The controls:
Condemned controls consist mainly of attacking with firearms and melee weapons and blocking with the later. Every weapon acts differently and has different stats in the game and this is represented well by the controls. Big weapons like sledgehammers and axes look and feel like you are swinging a massive weapon.
Overall Appeal:
If you liked survivor horror with great graphics and an immersive storyline this is the game for you. It has that "what was that sound, oh just an axe-wielding maniac waiting around the corner, jump out of your seat" appeal.
Final Thoughts:
This game was fun in every sense. A little repetitve at times with only around a dozen or so character models, but it had great ambience, great gameplay and a great story. There are tons of unlockables like concept art and videos. There are even some vital unlockables that are important to the story's plot. If you love survivor horror buy it for your collection. If you are not, it is well worth renting. Just remember to play with the lights off.- Posted Feb 14, 2006 5:46 am PT

11Jan 069.4 " You could throw your opponent down the flight of stairs, but why do that when you can use them as a surfboard and surf them face down, down the flight of stairs."
Dead or Alive 4 is one of, if not the best fighting game/franchise. Strong words I know, but just play it and you'll see why.
The visuals:
DOA4 has the best visuals and physics *bouncy * in a fighing game I have ever seen. You see every fold of fabric *bouncy* and every lock of hair react to your fighters moves. The colors are bright and there are not grainy textures to be seen, along with very little clipping. *bouncy*
The controls:
DOA4's controls are spot on and responsive to every button push. Gone are the button-to-movement delays that plagued Mortal Kombat, and the seemingly unresponsive movement of Virtual Fighter. Every kick, punch and counter that happens is a direct result from your input.
Overall Appeal:
There is a fighter for everyone's *bouncy * personal style. For example you have your karate experts, scantly clad assassins, a Bruce Lee clone, a half a dozen ninjas, a drunken master and several wrestlers and brawlers. They all have moves specific to their own fighting stlye with very few shared moves between them. Each fighter averages about 160+ moves with kicks, punches, grabs and counters leading the front, followed by combos and special moves specific to each character. There are also dozens of environmental moves. For example, in the temple level, you could throw your opponent down the flight of stairs, but why do that when you can use them as a surfboard and surf them face down, down the flight of stairs.
Final Thoughts:
With super fast moves and gorgeous *bouncy * environments it is easy to see why DOA4 is the best fighting game out there.
Rent it or buy it, just play this game you won't regret it.

4Jan 06I have four titles now for the Xbox 360.
A shooter (Perfect Dark Zero), a fighter (DOA 4), an adventure game (Kameo: Elements of Power) and a survivor horror (Condemned: Criminal Origins).
And let me tell you it does not get any better than this.
Perfect Dark is everything I expected it to be and more.
The visuals are great, the multiplayer is awesome and the controls are the tightest I have ever seen.
Condemned with scare the pez out of you and make you have to quit, but it keeps you coming back for more and more thrills.
Kameo is one of the best adventure games ever created. Spot on controls and unique characters make this a charming game for anyone who needs a break from Condemned.
And DOA 4 is the best fighting game out there. Did I mention you can fight as a Spartan, think Master Chief from Halo but a girl.
A full Review will be coming soon for all these games.
Check back soon.- Posted Jan 4, 2006 9:00 am PT
