Moonlight is a show that gets you hooked from episode one it has romance, comedy and action it has all the right ingredients to make it a huge hit. The storyline is engrossing and the cast are brilliant Alex O'loughlin is superb as Mick St.John PI, the way he is able to use his eyes and body language to convey his feelings without any dialogue is fantastic and he has a smile that will captures your heart he just oozes sex appeal. For the guys there is Sophia Myles who plays Beth Turner a Buzz Wire reporter, she is beautiful and a brilliant actor and the guy out there will just love her! Then there is Jason Dohring as Josef who is Mick's best friend there are many who think Jason is one of the best features of Moonlight he is like the comic relief, with his one liners and zinger he is hilarious. As the 400 year old vampire Josef he also has his serious side and in future episode we hope this will be revealed even more. Lastly we come to Mick's ex-wife Coraline played by Shannyn Sossamon a brilliant actress who does Coraline beautifully as Mick's ex who turned him into a vampire on their wedding night. The whole show is about Mick St John PI vampire being in love with Beth who is mortal and the possibility of the two overcoming many obstacles and getting together but just when you think they will something or someone gets in the way leaving us craving for more after each episode. There is more to this show then just a love story the whole vampire thing has been changed from the way they were portrayed in earlier TV and movies. The changes are fantastic the whole sleeping in a freezer in stead of a coffin and being able to go out in daylight even if it is for short spells and a wooden stake no longer kills vampires. The PI work he does all in all a brilliant show and I highly recommend it to anyone!

I have just been to the channel nine discussion board and there are pages of comments by moonlight fans complaining about the dumping of our show and telling them what a fantastic show it is! Let's hope they check the board or they are going to find they have a station that no-one is watching! Aussie fans don't stop now, keep posting your comments and send blue moon letters to the network. As well as going to HeyNiesen,Savemyshow ,fill in feedback forms on CBS and make Moonlight one of the top 40 tv shows to get CBS to pick it up for more seasons that way if nine doesn't air it we can download it.

Well I have posted a long and some what begging comment on our local television board to keep Moonlight going and that the 8 episodes they aired so far aren't enough and that there are at least another 4 episodes ready to be aired and that there are 4 more ordered with the hope of a new season to come. I also said that fans in the states have already organised a convention which in itself is unusual for a first season and that the American Fan base is huge and that our Australian Fan base would grow given the opertunity. I have begged and pleaded they won't even post it for 24 hours they want that long to check it first then they will email me if it gets posted. I am at a loss as to what to do next. Maybe I should ask all Australian Moonlighter to post Blue Moons to Channel Nine. I am soooooooo depressed!

Also all aussie fans send blue moon letters to channel nine

I have just found out that they are putting an old movie on first week in february instead of ep9 of OBM(our beloved moonlight) what's happening here in oz don't they know there are three more eps before we run out. Its not fair. Will now have to watch my own copy of each remaining episode on the night but what of all those in Oz who don't know whats going to happen. All so sad
I know what will happen they will replace OBM with the footy show they are sports mad over here. I like my foot ball (NRL & AFL) but it is No replacement for OBM!At this rate I will have to download any new eps and new season and watch them that way!

To quote Ned Kelly "Such is Life"
This vid shows the reason we watch this show! Please watch it!

I have voted and posted in an attempt to get CBS to keep Moonlight on Friday nights and sign it up for more seasons.
Although at the moment it does not affect me as we are only mid season one in my country and am hoping writers strike will be over before we get to mortal cure (the temptation to tell people here what is to come in our show is tremendous, but I will not spoil their enjoyment).
I have been reading the forums and what effects one moonlighter effects us all (all for one and one for all!) So will keep trying to get it to stay on Friday nights. I mean what idiot thought of PIR as a substitute for Moonlight they should be given the boot!

What a wonderful feeling it is to have a community such as ours!
No matter where you come from everyone will treat you like family and knowing they all share your feeling for the show and character is fantastic!
I love the diaries as written by the fans, for each character I think all moonlighters should use these as a way of showing how you think your favorite would react to any given situation its fun!
Also love what should happen next posting where we can tell everyone what our hopes for future storylines will be.
Lets hope CBS gets the message that we need more Moonlight not just repeats but new episode and that they sign it up for at least four more to start, with the option for many more.

How sad it is to hear of the death of Heath Ledger so young and talented. My thoughts go to his family in Perth Australia. He will be missed.Although he will be rememberd for his films some of my favorite ones are:
A Knights Tale
10 Things I Hate About You
Patriot and The Four Feathers
Two Hands and Ned Kelly

Well it's 11.14pm where I live and thought I'd share a few thoughts about my favorite show with you before I head for the freezer for a good nights sleep.
I have never been so obsessed with a show in my life and that is a long time, although there are a few other shows I am a fan of such as Bones,Csi the original not miami and like ny one aswell there are a few others but none like moonlight right from the first episode I fell in love with it.
I watch it everyday if not the show I watch moonlight music videos.
The love story is fantastic and can't wait till they finally get together, although Mick is human at the moment in time he will be back to normal I hope he gets to take Beth out on a real date first, you know dinner, movie or just drinks just a night on the town and maybe they could watch the sunrise together.
I also like Josef and hope we get some more one liners from him in the next few seasons (which will happen I'm sure just don't know when).
Hope to see more of Logan and Rider, must say I found Rider very funny in ep 5. I suppose I will just have to watch all the eps from the beginning until we get the new ones.
Got to go now hubby is getting restless!
