Just why is it considered the greatest game of all time?

Super Mario 64.

I understand that it's revolutionary, and that it has very good graphics, and an amazing sound track, and an overall excellent platforming ideas.

But I simply don't understand why it's considered by some the greatest of all time. I can understand it being the greatest N64 game of all time, that is if you haven't played or just think it happens to be better than such titles like Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Perfect Dark, Goldeneye 007, Paper Mario, and.... I guess Banjo-Tooie and Zelda: Majora's Mask.

The greatest game of all time? I don't see it. The camera is a disaster. The controls are clunky. The 100 coin challenge can get really repetitive when you combine camera and controls together. I focus a lot on the level constantly positioning Mario so I don't miss a jump, and sometimes the camera moves itself and fall off a thin bridge or platform area and fall to my death. It's really frustrating. Yet, some say it's the best meaning the best game of any platform of any system that has ever been made. WHY??

It IS superb game, but it's not the greatest ever, and imo not the best N64 game ever neither. No, that belongs to Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

I'm home.

After 12 solid days of time at a hospital, I am finally home

*sigh* I've been at the hospital since June 14th, have been at a hospital for 12 days solid through pneumothorax- a collapsed lung. Had a hole in my right lung. So last Saturday they put a bigger tube in me in the exact spot. Sunday morning it expanded again, and Monday expanded even more. Tuesday however, it shrank again. So I was carried in an ambulance to the St. John's Mercy hospital.

I arrive there with a bigger room and a TV with over 75 channels instead of 20. I was sent to have surgery. I would have incisions put in me so the hole in my lung would sew up instead of heal naturally. The doctor reccommended this. He gave me the choice, and I INSISTED to let the hole heal itself up. And you know what? It did. He pulled the tube out of me, literally. He told me to take a deep breath with my back flat on the bed, and he yanked the tube with force with his bare hand and ripped it out of me. I screamed for like a solid 2 minutes. It was ridiculously painful. And this tube is located 2 inches directly above my right nipple.

Well I'm FINALLY home now. I avoided the surgery through the help of faith, time and prayer. I thank God and my family and church friends. Now I get back on track to keep up in my unions and pwn everyone in tournaments.

The changes to Raw, SD and ECW is ridiculous!

OMG I can't believe what's happening with the draft. Ok so check it out.

CM Punk, Cain, Rey Mysterio, AND Batista. are all moving to RAW! Can you believe that? Edge lost to John Cena and as a result, Batista moved to RAW. We lost all these guys from the WWE in addition to The Undertaker who left due to a loss from Edge about a month ago or so.

Jeff Hardy is moving to smackdown, which was good, until Matt Hardy ended moving to ECW shortly after. That would've been an awesome tag team. Umaga is at Smackdown as well. And Jim Ross, the announcer, is now at Smackdown.

Finally, they're down to match of 15- 5 from each Raw, SD, and ECW. I knew from the start ECW didn't have a chance. It got to the end when ECW was completely eliminated and there were 4 RAW and 2 WWE. Big Show, from WWE, took out 2 of them. Then combined John Cena and Triple H took Big Show out leaving just Edge vs. these 2. And then Cena betrayed Triple H and took him out. Edge finished Cena. Edge, from WWE, was last man standing.

And guess what Smackdown gets in addition to Jeff Hardy? They got both Mr. Kennedy AND Triple H.

I've been at the hospital for a week and I'm not healing.

Back a week ago, I was reported to have pneumothorax. My right lung collapsed, and it happened spontaneoulsy, or without a cause. I have a hole in my lung. They operated on me I inserted a tube in my lung. A week has gone by and 3 times my lung expanded and then shrank. Doctors have come to conclude that the hole isn't big enough to empty the air and fluid necessary for my lung to heal. This afternoon they're going to insert a bigger tube in me, but in order to insert a bigger tube in me....

If I don't get good results by Monday with this bigger tube I'm going to be transferred (Luckily, they decided to give me a few extra days in this current hospital.) to the St. John's Mercy hospital in St. Louis, where they'll just staple my lung, and this entire week and I've been here will have been for absolutely nothing! I'd have to be in St. Johns Mercy for at least another week.

Being attached to a tube which is attached to a wall, I've been in this exact same room for a week and haven't been able to ever leave this room. By Monday I'm either going home...or at a new hospital. And to think... last week they said i'd be out the very next day that they first operated on.

I have been in the hospital for the last several days.

You haven't heard from me since Friday night because I have been in the hospital all this time. I have pneumothorax. And I'm still in the hospital. My dad luckily was able to send me a wireless laptop, so I can tell my wild story.

OK... so it all started Friday morning. I wake up and have a LOT of chest pain. I also had shortness of breath. This pain lasted all day (Friday the 13th). I had figured I had either slept wrong or pulled a muscle near the diaphragm. The pain was only on my right side, however. If I held my back completely straight, I would suffer pain in my upper right side of my chest. If I slouched too much I felt pain in my stomach.

The next morning, Saturday morning, the plan was to find out was wrong with me. I would get medicine that I would have to take for the next several days. And then I would go to the baseball game with my dad on the day before Father's Day. I would watch the Cardinals game (against the Phillies). The tickets were given to us for free from a friend of mine. However, this entire paragraph was not to be.

Me and my dad went to the doctor. The pains were even stronger and remained only on the right side. I told the doctor about the chest pain and he used the stethoscope for my breathing. I had no fever, no coughing, and yet no weezing, despite me being short of breath. He took X-rays of me, I was to be given the most distratous, unexpected results.

What was wrong with me? I had pneumothorax. What is it? My right lung collapsed!! It was useless. I had a hole in my lung! I was sent to the hospital immedeately. From there I was to be operated on for surgery. There was no real cause of this. I didn't fall. I didn't cough real hard. It appearantly is common among tall, thin males. I'm 6 foot 5 inches weighing 145 pounds. The hole they put was for a tube that would be hooked to a machine that would help suck out the fluid and unnecessary air surrounding my lung in order for it to expand. The circumference of the tube is only the size of the top of your pinky fingertip, maybe just a tad smaller.

I woke up a few minutes later and I have a box thing I dont know what its called (still on me as of right now), and a tube connected to my chest (right above my right nipple in case you're wondering). According to my dad, I never slept. I was awake the whole time they were drilling a hole in me. They then used some sort of drug that gave me amnesia so I'd never remember what happened. He said he left the room being so freaked out and frightened with the wailing and screaming. Anyways, they told me I'd be out of the hospital by Sunday evening. I am sent to a room on the 7th floor with a bed that I'd stay in and a TV with about 25 channels. I am inflicted with pain, medicine and an IV. An IV is a plastic thing on my right elbow they don't have to poke me constantly with a needle. They just stick right on the IV so the pain relieve medicine could go straight through my body.

Sunday morning comes. I got x-ray photos taken again. My lung was 85% the size it should be, so I have to stay one more day, with this tube stuck in me. The bishop from my church gave me a blessing and prayed that I would fully heal. I laid in my bed all day again watching TV. Monday morning comes. X-ray phots again. The lung is not 100% yet. This time they remove the tube and expect the hole to be completely sealed and the rest of the air and fluid would come out naturally without teh use of a tube. I would be sent home tonight, eargely wanting to take a shower in which I haven't had one in 3 days. Not allowed to leave my room and don't have the physical strenght.

3:00 rolls around. By then I've stopped taking the medicine that the nurses have been injecting me every 4 hours. At 3:00 they x-ray me again. The results were most evil. They said the hole was still there and by having removed the tube, my lung was shrinking again! This put me to put in teh hospital at LEAST 1 more day. I am aggravated, frustrated, and all I want to do is go home. They put the tube back in me.

It's Tuesday. The doctor who originally x-rayed me is now on vacation. His wife is taking over. And would believe that this woman is the same woman who is currently treating my mom who has breast cancer? My lung is rising back up again. This time I get some really scary news: Tomorrow they're going to remove the tube again. This time, if I don't heal tomorrow and in the hole in my lung doesn't seal up, I'm going to be transferred to a different hospital, in which I'll need surgery again. This time, they would cut me open WIDE and staple my lung shut . But, if the hole does manage to seal up and stays at 100% or close to it, I get to go home.

I am so scared. I've prayed real hard that I go home tomorrow. Otherwise, I'm in for something far worse than I'm going through now. I've been in bed for a solid 84 hours, at least 15 hours more in this hospital. My strenght has come back a lot, despite I can't get out of bed because of the tube. I have done absolutely nothing but sleep, eat, and watch TV. It may sound like no big deal, but being somewhat paralyzed and the pain and the condition you're in it almost feels like torture. All of this because of a hole in my lung. My family comes to see me everyday. I do get a lot of visitors, and I have no restrictions on diet. Everyone is praying for me, and I really have a strong feeling I'm going home. All that matters is whether or not that hole seals up.

This is the reason why I haven't been on gamespot since Friday night. I'm still in the hospital as of right now, not really looking forward to tomorrow. It was predicted I'd be out by Sunday afternoon. It's Tuesday now and I'll either be home tomorrow or in a new hospital for the next several days. Like I said, my dad let me use his wireless laptop, which thankfully has internet.
