Late to the party
I played through God of War today...for the first time. I sat down at 10:30 this morning, popped it in and turned the PS2 off at 8:30 tonight, having beaten it. I only stopped twice to eat. It was a good day today.I got to thinking that I have a LOT of games that I haven't beaten or even gotten around to playing. Since I've decided not to follow the gaming industry after this generation wraps up, I should be able to get a handle on that.Great game though. Hack n' Slash Heaven
I like hack n' slash games. I'm not really picky about them either. This generation is delivering the goods in this genre like nothing else. We've got games like Devil May Cry 4, Ninja Gaiden (sigma) 2, Heavenly Sword, Bayonetta, Dante's Inferno, God of War 3, Darksiders and Castlevania.That's a lot of hack n' slash and they all are or look like they will be good to great games.If only vert shmups got this sort of love...
