26Sep 07Yeah So I got to level 25 at some point in the past week. Haven't been able to be on much so I think that's an accomplishment. School started way back in the beginning of the month. It's pretty boring. And hot. Very hot. I have a few good teachers this year (more than last) but that doesn't stop several of them from hating me as usual. Theres always at least one that hates me and this year I wasn't proven wrong.
So yeah that's not to fun. Neither is being stuck at home. So I mostly try to get out as much as possible and otherwise lock myself in my room. Soccer season started and I'm reffing again so I'll be making a pretty penny at the end of the season (1 paycheck at the end
)
So yeah thats my life in a nutshell right now. Hope you guys are doing a little better than me and school isn't too bad.

Basically for those of you that don't feel like reading that, a pirate was convicted for Uploading a movie before the theatrical release, and part of his punishment was having his internet monitored.
But He uses Linux, and and the Government doesn't have any software to monitor linux, so he has to switch to Windows

7Aug 07Well I don't know how many of you have seen it but the Fallout 3 trailer seems to be just a total waste of time and energy. It shows absolutely nothing except a pretty graphics engine. Just a waste of valuable time that Bethesda could actually be using to make THE GAME.

28Jul 07Yeah so small update cause I'm pretty bored. So I reached 1500 forum posts today which is kinda cool. Haven't been doing much in RL, especially because it's summer and I don't do much anyways, just do whatever I feel like everyday. Still job hunting so I can make enough money to hopefully get emancipated, because I really can't stand my parents, hate them, they hate me, nice mutual relationship. But I'm sick of it and I have to get out of here before I do something stupid, like kill them. But anyways If i can get a job and prove to a judge I can take care of myself I can get emancipated early and move out, maybe move in with some friends of mine (adult friends) or if I get a good enough job maybe even live on my own which will be nice. Problem is getting a job cause I'm only 15 and no one wants to hire me, so I guess I'll probably have to wait until I turn 16 to get a decent job and try. But yeah theres your update for the two of you that might care. (Smokey and maybe someone else lol)

12Jul 07Assassin's Creed looks great, but with all this attention it's getting at E3, I can't help but think it's being over hyped a little, and I don't mind a little hype, but I don't like games getting so over hyped I get my hopes up for really high standards only to have them smashed when the game isn't as good as the hype. Assassin's Creed was featured in both the Microsoft and Sony Press conferences Tuesday and Wednesday, And it seems to be getting a lot of attention on all gaming sites I visit, not just Gamespot. Is this a recipe for over hype? I really don't want this game to end up like Halo 3 or something. The only thing it has going for it is that Ubisoft always makes great games that stand the hype, but it seems this game might shatter that reputation.

11Jul 07Here are my post E3 press conference impressions:
Wii will still suck with no good games coming out. (At least none that I will like - I realize that's just an opinion though)Microsoft will dominate the market with tons of good third party games and of course- live. Games for Windows won't turn out to be the "PC Console for stupid people who don't know how to read system requirements" that Microsoft is hoping it will be, just a worthless waste of marketing money, however might entice new people to start playing games on PC.
Sony will come in a close second with some great 1st party support and decent 3rd party. They seem to be putting too much effort into the PSP and certain online features of the PS3- like the online market though.- Posted Jul 11, 2007 3:26 pm PT

1Jul 07So i busted out Descent today. I haven't played it in like 7 or 8 years. I've forgotten how much fun it is. Has anyone else played it? How recently? Because I might be a little bold saying this but I think that it's probably more fun than any other FPS that has come out in the past two years. I was re-living my childhood playing it and the feelings I got playing it, having so much fun, it was like a natural high, and no other game I've played recently can compare in the slightest.

28Apr 07Yeah, so, the soccer season started last week here. I don't play anymore but I ref it. I'm certified with the United States Soccer Federation, so the league I ref for pays me $20 a game opposed to the $10 it pays the normal signed up Amateur refs. It's pretty good work. Only an hour of yelling at little kids so I don't complain at all.

2Apr 07So I saw Blades of Glory on Friday. Stupidest movie I've ever seen in my entire life but it was to be fair hilarious. It was worth the 5 bucks just to see the previews, Which had Pirates 3 At World's End and Oceans 13. Both look good and come out on may 25th and June 8th respectively. All and all if you're in for a good laugh go see it...
