"People don't like getting shot in the face"
~ Gary Busey
Makes ya think, doesn't it?
Ok, if you're really frustrated with Crysis and want to pickup the pace and kill lots of stuff - I've got just the thing for you!
I made a config which makes the game even easier. Some of the cooler changes are the ability to move without killing your cloak, unlimited ammo, carry unlimited numbers of weapons and other groovey stuff like that. Heck, it might actually make the game fun!
To use this, download the file below. Then unzip it to your Crysis config directory. By default, that would be "C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytec\Crysis\Game\Config". You may want to make a backup of your old "easy" config before you do this because this file will overwrite the one that comes with the game. Once you have it installed, fireup the game and change your difficulty settings to "Easy" to enable the features of this "really easy" config.
Enjoy and feel free to post questions or comments in this blog.
Being born and having spent much of my life in New Orleans and south Louisiana, I can't help but be a Saints fan. I've been going to games and watching them on TV since 1967 (damn I'm old). It hasn't been an easy time. The Saints have arguably been among the very worst teams in the NFL since day one. They've only won a single play-off game in their entire 40 year history!
That's hard on a fan. Who can forget the bag heads at the Saints games in the 80's? My family even had season tickets the year they went 1-15 (ouch). We gave up on going after the first few games. At the time we were living out of state and driving in 180 miles to see them get owned and then 180 miles back wondering what the !@#$ we were thinking. Needless to say, that was the last year we got season tickets.
I tell you all this so you can begin to understand how huge this year has been for south Louisiana and even me personally. The Saints haven't just won some football games and made it to the play-offs for the first time in 6 years. They've given us something to smile about on Monday morning, a story to follow and take a little personal pride in. It's been a real lift to how I feel - more than you would ever think a football season could. It may not have changed my life but it's certainly been a wonderful feeling to see them talked (positively) about on TV and on the internet.
The season may be over on Saturday night after the game. Of course I hope they win, but most of all, I'm glad they're here. Win or lose, I love you Saints!
