    The Global Trade Station

Pokemon Diamond and Pearl have a great new feature: Wifi Trading in a spot called the Global Trade Station (GTS). It's really nice if you're looking for a Pokemon to keep, especially since my friend is Dex Crazy and doesn't want to ever trade for keeps. "I just want the Dex Data! Give me your starter's data! I just want the data!" God... SHUT UP. This is nice, because at GTS, there's no tradebacks, a blessing and a curse, because then you'll have to actually think it through! *Gasps* But in all seriousness, it's great. I can't tell you how long I've been wanting Shieldon, which I can't get because I have Diamond. If anything's annoying about the GTS, it's the ridiculously high expectations of the people who offer trades. I'm looking for a Mantyke, just find one, just hatched, at lvl. 1. Here's some kid from Japan telling me he wants a Level 100 Torterra. First off, I don't have a Torterra, I started off with Piplup. And even if I did, NO! Why on Earth would I trade you a Pokemon that's taken away HOURS and HOURS of the social life I could be having, that's insanely strong, and that's SUPER EFFECTIVE against a weak, level 1 Pokemon you can get every 10 minutes? I figured serious fans of Pokemon would have their heads closer to the ground, but there are very few people there. The only reasonable trade I saw on there was a kid from Japan offering his Shieldon for a Murkrow, which I gladly accepted. Now why can't everybody be reasonable like that? And that brings me to another point. What's with all the Japanese people?! Don't get me wrong, I love the Japanese, I really do (Wish I Could Speak It). But all I see on the GLOBAL Trade Station is kids from Japan and America. I understand the game still has to be realeased in a lot of places, but when I hear the words GLOBAL Trade Station, I think lots and lots of countries, not two. It's not called BINATIONAL Trade Station, it's called GLOBAL Trade Station! So if anybody from a country besides the USA or Japan is reading (and understanding) this, has the game, and a DS Wifi Connection, get in there!
