  The Video Game Conspiracies.

  Alright time to start a blog I decided to write my own about conspiracies the rest of the media has with video games.

  Let's face it! Everybody that hates video games has to either really like books or really like movies or TV. Heck a lot of us gamers like those too. But why do the non gamers hate us and stereotype us as nothing but perverted slobs that quench our thirst of grind house crazed blood lusts with gory games and sexual soft porn fantasies. Is it the games we play? Are we really like that?! Let's face it the rest of the media hates us because games are becoming more popular and compelling, that we don't have time to read books anymore or watch movies. Which means companies are loosing out on the big bucks. make makes people that don't play or make games but make movies, and write books have nothing better to do than Stereotype and bad mouth the competition. Heck the will even do to low end to not only stereotype us but to cash in on the games themselves and try to make them crappy to make a quick buck!

  Games to Cartoon and Movies conversions in the West are always crap usually it's because the creators of the cartoons and movies are either lazy, greedy, perverted(Not always sexually) or don't have knowledge of the games themselves. But I will include this too my blog because I remembered the mid nineties when there was a lot of crappy Video Game to cartoon variations that where nothing like the games. The one that is a prime example is the Double Dragon cartoon, I sort of enjoyed this one, only because of it's massive cheese and stupidity. But it still had nothing to do with the games, everything was messed up that it makes the early 90s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Cartoon look like a accurate adaption of the old Eastman and Laird comics. First off the most of characters are not in the cartoon. Second off they at first based the plot on none other than the NES version of Double Dragon and not the Arcade Double Dragon and they didn't even adapt that one so much either. I assume that you have either read about it or have seen it when you where younger let me go on about two episodes of the game that dealt about video game addiction, these episodes had this kid that was too obsessive with games that it gets him in trouble, I won't go on about the episodes go, but don't you find something Ironic about this that it's a show based on a video game and it deals with gaming addiction? I see a lot of irony in this, I suppose either the media wants us down or the creators of the show only sort of know about the game and don't know anything about the game and only read a manual from the NES version. I mean what in the world is going on here?! First off Double Dragon is a variety mature game if you have played the Japanese Arcade version. They always make shows always for little kids of games that are not meant for children! Though I forget it's because we didn't have the balls to make R-rated cartoons because they always fail in the market unless your a crude looking but funny sitcom. Anyhow they should start making something awesome with game adaption and less of all these Uwe Boll and Paul Anderson, at least give us something with good production values and either give use TONS of action or a really good plot.

  Another prime example of Hollywood hatred of gaming has to be the M-rated law approved by none other than Mr. Commando himself Arnold Schwarzenegger, Why am I criticizing him and not Lieberman on this one? First off I am not Democratic, in fact I'm a old school Ron Paul libertarian. Reason being is because the man is a actor that stars in violence films and does violent acts in them. The best person to question on this was Samuel Jackson when was down right dismantling him with the terminator movies he stared in at the crappy Spike TV gaming awards which was the only part worth watching that year. Any let's ask why did the California attack video games and not the movies he stared in besides the typical answers we all say about republicans. Well to answer this, he did it because he's a movie star and did it for money of parents that hate games and movies stars that hate them too. Which is funny because he helped develop few of the terminator games for Atari which most of course most of them sucked hardcore. While that adds more confusion, I will say this though. Hollywood needs to start thinking out there rear and stop giving video games and movies a bad rep. We may make bad movies based on games, but we don't get the time you have when you make your movies!

  But what about awesome guys like Spielberg he's making games for my favorite console the Wii and a another awesome game for the 360/PS3. Well... That shows a good sign of what will be happing as soon as video games and comics become more and more mainstream here in the states. Sure I haven't bad mouthed Coppola about his complaints with the Godfather game which I really liked. But he had reasons to complain because of the same reasons I complain about bad movies on games I really liked. Coppola is fine there on that subject even though I question this move...
