Hey there, it seems that I really haven't been watching much tv of late, i have just lost interest in pretty much most tv out there...all except a few dear favourites! I find myself just waiting for Supernatural to come back to me! The new episode looks like it is going to be so damn good! The trailer every time gets me all hot and bothered! The feeling of excitement building more and more...I have the explosion scheduled for next week! Can't wait to see Castiel rocking the flasher mac again, and sam participating in some naughty extra curriculars and Dean dishing out some pent up frustrations.

Also, looking forward to Dollhouse and Smallville! Which is kicking ass! Oh and finally got round to seeing Dr. Horrible's sing along blog, which was so good. Great beginning...I could certainly have given the good doctor some tips on evil laughter. I loved the ending...joss knows how to do a good character exit.
Started watching 90210, got caught up in the hype and it just looks like another typical teen drama. There will be drugs, sex, teen pregnancy, alcohol, car accidents, deaths...ur usual typicalness...and if we're lucky we may just get a crazy stalker psycho! One can only hope!
So, i have watched quite a few good movies this week, so thought i'd just say a little about them.#
Taken - 10/10
Oh my lord! 10/10 people! There is nothing cooler than an old dude kicking ass! I mean Liam Neeson is sooo frickin cool he is ICE COLD! This movie is everything you want from an action thriller...seriously, its like when you're watching some evil dude giving a load of chat, stalling before he is shot by the good guy, and you're like shouting "JUST SHOOT HIM" well, this film does just that. Liam Neeson is chasing down the guys that kidnapped his daughter and he only has 96 hours to do it...sounds like a standard plot but it is executed with so much edge and authority it just feels so fresh! I feel like I should be using more exclamation marks to illustrate just how awesome this movie is!!!!!!!!!!! If you haven't seen it go watch it...Seriously....NOW people hustle....lol. The dude is cooler than Jack Bauer .....*distant voices "no way"* well yes way! Go on I dare you to challenge my claim!
Ten Inch Hero - 8/10

Okay so, I finally got round to watching ten inch hero...now before the mind wanders to the gutter let me tell you a bit about the movie. Okay so, it revolves around the lives of four friends who all work in a sandwich shop in santa cruz...not very interesting you say? Well just hold up...You have Tish (Danneel Harris), the pretty damn hot chick who jumps on every guy in sight, all except Priestly (Jensen Ackles), who appears very rough on the outside but there is a mr.nice behind the crazy mohawk's and facial hair. Thirdly we have Jen (clea Duvall) the nice plain girl with low self esteem and just waiting for her to find her soul mate; and finally there is Piper (Elisabeth Harnois) the new girl who recently came to santa cruz to find the daughter she was forced to give up 8 years ago. They are all just trying to live life, find love and get past their insecurities in life. Now this wasn't really my usual type of film and the only reason I watched it was because Jensen was in it but I was quietly surprised by how good it was. The story was well put together, some great comedy (Priestly and the tampon scene one awesome highlight!!), relatable characters, great music composition and some nice transitions between scenes. So if you want a feel good movie, produced beautifully with some interesting characters then I recommend you watch it. It is probably better than how I described it but I get bored of writing sooooo...anyway here's a link to the funny supermarket scene for those who haven't had the chance to see it.... enjoy!
*I originally wanted to embed the vid but I suck at computers so here's a link instead

Rambo - 9/10
This film was brutal! And so realistic that it made me cry. It is really great that this film really helped show people the real brutality going on in Burma...I myself am a person who kind of stays ignorant to the world...i don't like to think about such horrible things happening. Like you watch them on tv but it doesn't really register with you that this stuff is real and happening to human beings. TV desensitizes us, but this film brought me back to earth. I think about war and people in pain and I think why hasn't the rest of the world banded together to put a real stop to this crap but how do you put an end to it? By words? Or by action? Well Rambo was right...you can't make peace with words...its not something heartless dictators care about...they understand three things; Money, Power and Death. And I doubt the world would want to take the first two things to sort out problems so death is what it comes down to. You fix problems with blood. Yet why is it right that others should suffer to bring justice and democracy in this way? Okay so I could go in circles fo hours about this so I'll cut it short. Rambo was a nice way to end the franchise. And he talked sense...it is just a shame that the world can't just get along. We find it so easy to destroy ourselves but its waaaay too hard to just let people live their lives in peace....oh im off again
Endnote: Its pretty cool how Julie Benz managed to still look good covered in dirt.
So thats pretty much it, off to frolic in the leprechaun fields with candycorn rainbows and unicorns.

Terrible, terrible news today. My uncle is getting married...but the date is the same weekend as the totally awesome asylum 3 convention! I am totally stuck on which one to go to! This years Asylum looks like its going to be the best yet and the guest list is amazing but then it would be so nice to see my little cousins again and have the family altogetherat the wedding.
I have planned asylum for like 6 months now, i've got my art entries, vid entry, hotel booked, photos bought, and accepted the fact i am going alone and that i am perfectly capable finding my way around birmingham.
oh what to do? Its not like i can ask them to change the date of their wedding...or can I?...no, no i cant i know.

Ever felt like you've been replaced? Well, I am pretty sure I have been. It just makes me sad....its like yeah sure you're the reliable volvo....there for quite a while but then oh oh....wow look at this new ferrari all fun, new and refreshing...and poor volvo is sad. Volvo doesn't know how to make things better. Volvo wasn't always the most sociable of cars but volvo thought if they could just hold on to it's one "owner" who was the best owner and friend there was...then volvo would be okay. Instead volvo is alone now...just being taken apart and sold for scrap.

Haven't blogged in a while so I will rekindle the habit with my latest discovery; Twilight.
WARNING: SPOILERS FOR MOVIE AND BOOK!!
The twilight phenomena had baffled me, out of nowhere came this series which people were going crazy for. So, I thought I'd watch the movie and was quite surprised at how much I liked it. The cast was perfect, The Cullens, each and every one of them stunning, even the schoolmates weren't TOTALLY terrible. I liked Bella a lot because I could really identify with her, since we are practically like the same person. I was reading the book thinking the likeness of our characters was uncanny.
I couldn't stop laughing though because quite a bit of it was them just watching each other and Edward pretty much stalking Bella... I thought "here's a movie where the stalker finally gets the girl" it was refreshing l:lol . And there was quite a bit of camera swirling while they chatted but I can forgive this. There were some great, truly awesome scenes. My favourite is probably the baseball scene, from the choice of music to the camera effects, it was just perfect and made me want to play baseball. Another great scene (which brings me to tears everytime!!!) Is the end where Bella has been bitten and Edward is having to suck out the blood scared he might not stop. It was chilling, particularly with the flashbacks and superb song choice.
Another small...teeny part I loved and thought was really clever was the scene when Bella has first went to Biology and is sitting next to Edward. If you look behind Ed then you'll see a stuffed owl with beautiful wings. But the way Ed was positioned in front of them made it seem like he was her guardian angel. Small, but pleasing moment.
So, liked the film, yet had heard the book was much better....intrigued I read it in three days and must say....it was one of the worst books I've read. Now the ending was great but it just felt like their were 20 chapters of:
"he's looking at me, cant't look, oh im going to look, i looked, oh his eyes, his face, he's a god, love me, i love him, hes a god, im looking at him, hes looking at me"
"i love him....dont leave me....hes looking at me again,,,blah blah blah"
Now though towards the middle of the book it made me really quite sad that I'd never had anything like that, not even close, but it was still a bit much. I felt like the story was lacking something.
Overall, I think the film did a tremendous job. And I have high hopes for New Moon, which i have started reading and it looks like its going to better than the first.
So i dont know, maybe my thoughts on the book are contaminated by the fact i watched the movie first, or by the awesome account of the entire twilight series which a friend gave me. But if you havent seen the film you should go watch it...then again if you havent seen the film why are you reading this? Just gave the damn end away lmao!

Okay so...this is just me rambling on about how crappy things are so dont feel the need to read it.
Depression. What is depression? A lack of control over one's life? A feeling of no hope? A supreme sadness that affects every aspect of one's life? Okay so i aint exactly depressed yet but its getting there since i am defo displaying some symptoms!
Everything in life at the moment is crappy...im stuck in a building that is falling apart piece by piece. University is the major factor. My essay is currently 2 days late, going on three meaning thats a possible 15% of the marks are going to be snatched from me. I am on the verge of giving the pile of supremo sh!te in which is way less than the word limit, and is just a piece of crap. I only need 40% to pass so i have lost the will to care. Well it's my own fault, i left it way too late. Then there's the test i did not revise for. Then there's the week long sleep deprivation i have so far endured.
I look a complete mess aswell. Just trying to cram sleep has left little time for personal maintenance...and the shower is broke! That in itself is a hell!
Also, internet connection seems to have crapped out. Why must you leave me. WHY?! sure it monopolised my life a bot too much but sadly that and tv is all i have! And that means i havent seen my beloved SUPERNATURAL episode!!
the only thing i actually look forward to during the week!Next it's the lovesickness. Possibly the worst kind of illness you can get. I have this kind of crush...well ive had it for a while on someone that is unavailable...really unavailable and it is driving me mad. What with that and my ind thinking up evil plans to be squished by my conscience ....ahhhhh!
Finally there's the loneliness. yep...since uni, the friendships which were already diminishing are close to finally being extinguished...
. So my life consists of uni (hell)- sleep - uni - lovesickness - sleep - panic attack - uni - sleep , with an occasional meal or two.
NOT EVEN TIME FOR TV!
And every day i wake up i think..."thats it, you're one day closer to death" yep....death lately has become soooo terrifying. And i know we all got to die someday and theres no point worrying about what may come but i cant help it.
So...thats about it. The moanings of a crazy woman. If i had a little faith then maybe i would pray to find some inner peace...yet i find a belief in god illogical... one supreme being dont make sense...though i wish i could believe in something. Just for some hope.

ASYLUM
That's right people, they have finally decided to lock me up...okay so it was voluntary...who wouldn't want to spend a weekend mixing it up with a bunch of crazy people hooked on Supernatural! Yes! I am off to ASYLUM 2009 in the UK! It is going to be awesome...got to get shopping for the themed parties though...one of them is School of Rock. A bit stuck on the costume idea though...because I don't want it to look too much like my costume idea for the heaven and hell masked ball. I am thinking it would cool to be like a black/goth/angel of death! Kind of like Peyton's off One Tree Hill

I want HUGE black feathered wings! Might be tough to get through doors though lol.
SPEAKING OF SUPERNATURAL
How great has season 4 been? It just keeps getting better every season! And the introduction to our new heavenly character played by Mischa Collins. Such a great character and I just love the way Mischa does it...with those really expressive eyes. Anyway...CANNOT wait to get into the thick of the plot...EVIL SAM! when are you going to rear your fine head? I find Jared is at his best when evil.
FAVE SUPERNATURAL S4 SCENES SO FAR...
1. Well, the fave just has to be...the beginning of metamorphisis when Dean and Sam are in the motel. Jared and Jensen were so good in that scene...all the emotion, and with the music...and the punching...i just really felt the love!
2. Bobby's reaction to Dean. The dude trys to stab Dean twice then when it seems he has finally accepted Dean is alive he chucks the holy water at him! Just c!assic Bobby, but a really great scene.
3. ANYTHING with CASTIEL! Every time he comes on screen he leaves such a great impression. Like his SPECTACULAR entrance...one of the best...no wait, THE best entrance of any tv character i have ever seen. I need an entrance like that everywhere I go! might get expensive with the lights...but hey its worth it.

Anyway, guess i'll end here...and i think i will do it with one of my fave jokes...it's short and sweet;
Q. What's the difference between an oral and rectal thermometer?
A. The taste

1. The blinding white has to be sorted, there is just way too much of it ... and it is not good for the design of the site, the environment or the people viewing tv.com...this should be the top priority really since it can actually cause heath problems! Well, the whole colour scheme in general is just bad I mean (and i have said this a lot) it went from warm, friendly, community-like format to a cold, unwelcoming and generic format. The character and life of tv.com feels like it has been stripped away.
2. The grey font on the forums for a quote. This is quite puzzling, like why is the font grey with a white background? It seems ridiculous when people are already having to strain their eyes due to the white and then even moreso to read a quote.
3. Blogs, now the old blog system was much better. You could see the entire entry from beginning to end. And the number of tracked blogs too small, only 4! This number should be increased.
4. When posting in forums the top of the post, you know where the user info is displayed is way too big with too much unused space, either fill the space or just make it a little smaller would probably be better
5. And finally, it would be nice if there was like a place to go where users are told of upcoming redesign ideas and plans tv.com staff are planning on implementing...unless there already is one???

Hey all

So the time has come...the day I and many more people like me have been waiting for , for 3 months...A-level and BTEC results! I was so nervous last night I couldn't sleep at all...so I threw on some Supernatural, nothing like a good dose of Sam and Dean kicking ass to soothe one's nerves.
Anyway, it wasn't too bad, kinda got what I expected. Psychology = A!!! yeah baby! Law = B which is pretty impressive since I didnjt listen to the teacher for 2 yrs! Law is just the subject of...THE DEVIL! It is so crap I wanted to become a criminal just so I could rebel against the system!!!
I once contemplated jumping front of a car to get out of lesson...anyway all my work has been ritualistically burnt...there were robes, some holy water and a heck load of fire... Okay so I also got a damn C in Maths!
I worked so hard for a B aswell...it now means i cant do maths at uni
but yaknow it kinda worked out for the best. and I aint even gonna get rid of my loada work! it will break my heart...
*I once told my mate that if i ever got ran over on the way home from school with my math work that she saves the work before myself! You know you have to make sure you have your priorities right in life lol
*And finally I got a Distinction in ICT - *cue happy dance*
SO THAT IS IT...SCHOOL IS OVER...THE BEST DARN YEARS OF MY LIFE FINISHED
So... the beginning of the rest of my life has begun. Soon I will be studying Psychology at the University of Liverpool which i know i can totally ace! The only worrying thing about uni is the BIG "S" ... socialising ... because apparently word on street is it is like a big part of uni life...darn...i guess human contact will be inevitable lol
I can only hope i meet one like minded person with a similar sense of humour to me...because it is definitely an acquired taste!
Anyways...to celebrate i kinda went on a shopping spree...for...STATIONARY...i just got a thing for pens, folders, erasers etc. and dont get me started on paper...i just keep buying it!! I have a problem!! Im also going shopping for uni clothes and gonna see the X-files movie...pretty awesome.
Okay, im gonna stop know coz the voice in my head is starting to annoy me

SO TO ALL WHO ARE GETTING RESULTS FOR ANY EXAMS IN THE FOLLOWING WEEKS...GOOD LUCK...I HOPE YOU GET EVERYTHING YOU WANT...AND IF YOU DONT THEN DONT GET TOO BUMMED OUT BECAUSE LIFE WILL FIND A WAY OF MAKING IT UP TO YOU
*HUGS TO ALL*

Okay so I watched Harold and Kumar escape from guantanamo bay last night and i think i may have found the best poem ever written. Now i dunno why i love it so much, i guess it is because i am a mathematician at heart...anyways here it is;
The Square Root of 3 by Dave Feinberg
I'm sure that I will always be
A lonely number like root three
The three is all that's good and right,
Why must my three keep out of sight.
Beneath the vicious square root sign,
I wish instead I were a nine.
For nine cou;d thwart this evil trick,
with just some quick arithmetic
I know I'll never see the sun, as 1.7321
Such is my reality, a sad irrationality
When hark! What is this I see,
Another square root of a three
As quietly co-waltzing by,
Together now we multiply
To form a number we prefer,
Rejoicing as an integer.
We break free from our mortal bonds,
With the wave of magic wands.
Our square root signs become unglued
Your love for me has been renewed.
The film was ok too, if you like watching pretty much the same story as the prequel

Well the day I have dreaded for so long finally came yesterday ... My 18th!! and it wasn't so bad. You know the way people expect like this big thing you know: Friend: "we should go get p****d", but that just wasn't what i wanted and people were just so annoying " have a drink, have a drink". Give it a rest people!!

Anyway me and my friends went to see the dark knight to celebrate, and it was so great seeing a bit of that sexy joker action! then we went for a meal. Then my fave bit was when we tried doing a seance, sooo funny with a napkin and some birthday candles haha! sadly it didnt work so we resorted to becoming pyromaniacs and created a fire in a stone vase! yep my bffs are crazy! and it nearly got outa control and my friends bag got set on fire, but i put a stop to the crazyness coz one of my m8s was going really crazy!

on the bday i had all my family round with my little cousins and we had a right fun day!
I think i'll give myself a gift..

Hey peeps, so this is my first ever blog. how exciting...i'm a blogger!
I'm currently stressing out with exams, and i think my pot of leprechaun gold is running out of luck! And nooooo instead of revising i am like just being obssessed with my fave tv show Supernatural! i think i need help, like professionally because the amount of tv i watch is absurd!

and i leave school in 10 days...FOREVER, it is so scary it is like when chill out life ends and serious, stressful, intense, can't-get-a-rest life starts! School is like a safety net, as long as you are there you are safe, you know what job you have got to do and you get to it. But after school you have to go and live, find out who you are, choose a career path and a number of other stressful things!

Anyways, that is all for now, wish me luck guys, heck i will need it!!
*pretty crap first blog LMAO
*I will end with nice pictures to beef it up!
