    Hi!!

Figured I'd update my blog on my boring life. Well, okay, all but this weekend has been boring. Or depressing... My grandma died a couple weeks ago (sob) and then my mom got really sick, but she's mostly better now thankfully, and I just got out of midterms.

Anyway, this past weekend was EPIC EXTREME! Btw, I'm a reporter for WormholeRiders.com now, so a more detailed report is to come.

I went to Farscape/Stargate Con in Los Angeles. First time ever in LA and I didn't leave the hotel! And I don't even care cuz it was still amazing. My inner geek flourished. Anyway, here's some highlights:

I chatted with Virginia Hey (Zhaan) for a reeeeaaaally long time. She talks a lot, but that's a good thing. She's very interesting! I fully enjoyed it. For realz, her, me and Meagan talked for over an hour. So cool!

I got to do interviews with a couple of the stars, which was awesome! I just wish I hadn't lost my voice because I was supposed to be the interviewer, but I couldn't speak loudly, so I had to switch to cameragirl.

I met Claudia Black again! And she remembered me! Not my name, but I really wasn't expecting that. I wasn't even expecting her to recognize me. I said "I met you at Polaris and it pretty much made my summer." She said thanks and without hesitation added "You cut your hair." Even my best friends barely noticed the change. I replied that I had dyed it and she said she loved the color (same as hers) and that it looked great and really suits me! Personally I thought it made me look like Wednesday Addams, but whatever, now I need to keep it. I'll never ever ever change my hair color ever again xD

And Ben and Claudia were SO good looking for their photo ops. And about everything else...

Shanks was awesome! He told me he loved my shirt, which said, "Where's my Daniel?" on it. And he hugged me for the op. I was like "SQUEEE!!!" afterwards.

Lani Tupu told me he hopes I feel better soon from my allergic reaction and Gigi Edgley wished me good luck on my midterm. She also personalized and signed the CD and comic I bought from her.

Wow, what else... I showed Paul Goddard the Farscape parody from Stargate SG-1 for the first time. As in, he'd never seen it before. He really liked it. And I can never touch my iPod again, as it has to be framed...

Eek... I can't believe I almost forgot... Meagan did karaoke with Sanctuary star Ryan Robbins. Actually they really hit it off. Here's the link.

Man, seriously, my brain is on such a high right now...

Oh! Claudia brought her kids to the con. Her oldest actually came onstage at one point. No pics were allowed once he removed his Batman mask and the whole audience complied because she deserves her wishes to be respected. Anyway, they were both adorable! It was very cool. I can actually say now that I played peek-a-boo with Claudia's youngest son (who was practically entranced by Meagan and I).

Also... I just met so many amazing people. So many awesome fellow Scapers. Everyone was so talkative and excited to be there! Great energy! Plus, so great to finally meet my CBO friends in person. Not all of them, sadly, but Matt, Carlo, Meagan and Jael. Shared a room with Meagan, too. She's awesome. They're all awesome. Ack. This whole thing was great!

I'll have a far more eloquent report by time I finish it for Wormhole Riders. xD

Hmm maybe I'll edit this later with pics and stuff but I gotta go!

    Hi!!

I thought I'd do my anual post (xD) and update all my lovely friends on here on what I've been up to lately. Since I know you're just dying to know

In June I took a screenwriting class. It was taught by Sheila Jenca, who will soon have a book out and is very close to having a produced screen credit. . Just so you know to look out for her. She's very nice. And yeah, I got an A+

Anyway, that's far less exciting than my July. All I can say is EPIC!!!

Let's start with Polaris 23 in Toronto. Yeah, I had to fly there and be an uber nerd but whatever because it was totally worth it. On Friday I shopped and shopped (seriously, bought 7 bags worth of action figures, cards, games, etc., in less than an hour!). I also attended a screening of Unending, because seriously, it's SG-1 and one of my fave episodes!! So obviously I couldn't miss it. Sadly I'm not 19, so I couldn't attend the Blastoff party

Then Saturday was amazing. I met Claudia Black!!!! She's basically my hero, in case you're unaware . She was so nice and we even had a bit of a conversation! So cool! And she asked for my name then told me she'd remember it. Then, I stood in line for 2 hours and finally got to meet David Hewlett. He was super nice and funny! There's a bit of a story to that one as well, but he was awesome. By then it was time for Claudia's panel, which was pretty much one of the best things I've ever attended. She was hilarious but also just a really cool person. I spent half the time thinking "OMG I'm in the same room as Claudia Black!!" . After which time, it was the photo ops with Claudia. All I can say is: SHE REMEMBERED MY NAME!!!! I had a bit of a nerdgasm afterwards and my inner-geek still explodes thinking of it!! . I wasn't even dressed the same! :O. Okay, so I met up with some people, chatted and looked around a bit before going back to my room to breathe. Then I went to David Nykl's panel, which was really actually very funny! Then... The Constellation Awards where I got to see Claudia win for Continuum and see David Hewlett, Kate Hewlett, Michael Hogan and a ton of other awesome people. It was epic!!

Shockingly still alive, Sunday was pretty awesome for me as well! My day started later than Saturday, though. I sadly missed the auction (and the opportunity to buy Vala's hair clip!)... So I went to David Hewlett's panel. H-I-LARI-O-U-S!! Seriously, I LOL'd the whole time! Plus, about half an hour in, it was totally crashed by David Nykl, who had a panel scheduled for the following hour. As if that wasn't epic enough, this woman approached the mic and I was like "Hey, she looks like... Nah... Maybe?" (I was sitting right next to the mic). And she was like "This is for David Nykl... How does it feel being the cool David on the show?" In case you didn't guess, the panel had then been crashed by Kate Hewlett. xD Excellent!! Basically I was already geeking out! I also got to ask Kate a question about her musical endeavors. . After that, I raced to David Hewlett's photo ops and he complimented my McKeller t-shirt . Then I raced up to get Kate Hewlett's autograph. I was a total idiot when I got to meet her but I figure the others made up for it

Okay, so that was my epic Polaris experience. I reported on the Claudia-related stuff for Claudia Black Online and my report can be found here .

On the following Monday, I got to meet up with my bestest friend foreverest! . Which was awesomeness extreme! I stayed with her in Toronto a couple days and she flew back here with me after, which was awesome. We've been between her house and mine ever since we got here (she still hasn't sold her house here). But yeah so it's been amazing seeing her!

Her birthday is tomorrow and I'm very excited because I've got a bit of a surprise planned for her. . I'm setting it up tomorrow with one of my friends, but yeah. My parents and I are going to dinner with her and her parents. Friend stuff will be on the weekend. . She's spending the night at her house for family time and that's why I have time to post on here.

Now for the sad news. My grandmother is sick and has been in the hospital for almost a week now. She's not expected to live all that long . /cry. I know she wants to go and is in a lot of pain now but...still, it's very sad. She's in a wheelchair and she can't eat solid foods. She's also got dimentia (sp?) so she often asks about her sister, who has been dead for almost 14 years, and thinks I'm just a small child.

Also, I have to get my wisdom teeth out in August

Now am off to make a new banner and such.

    Hello people!

I have some exciting news, some sad news and some just plain pathetic news...

Firstly, the exciting stuff. I got to meet Jewel Staite!! She's like one of my favorite actresses ever, just behind Claudia Black. I met her this weekend after she did a panel and got my pic with her, as well as an autograph. Even talked for a minute with her, which was sooo cool!! Anyway, all the panels are on YouTube for anyone interested (my username is treehillbabe_xo ... Not that different). It was pretty awesome. I geeked out all weekend from it!!!

Second, I was baptized last Sunday (the 26th). So that's incredibly exciting!!! I'm very happy I was finally.

Third, I'm out of exams!! So I have a whole month off After that, I have a month long class for screenwriting. I'm looking forward to that. It's being taught by a member of the screenwriter's guild and she's won awards and such. Which is awesome. And only 15 kids in the whole school got in and I was one of them!!

Fourth, the sad news. I'm upset cuz my best friend is going to be in Iran for the next month and I'm not going to be able to talk to her at all :'( As if her living across the country wasn't bad enough!

Fifth, the pathetic news. I got a terrible grade in geology. Seriously, it was depressing. I actually cried a little on the exam because it was so hard! Honestly, I didn't even know some of the scientific names they used, let alone what period in which they first appeared. Heck, I couldn't even tell if they were one-celled organisms, fish, animals or plants!

Which reminds me, we're seriously all decended from reptiles?! How weird is that?!

Ohh, totally nerded out this weekend and bought tons of geeky stuff. It was amazing. My room is filled with SGA, SG-1, Firefly and Farscape stuff. Too bad Farscape stuff is so hard to find now... Oh well, gotta love that show! Seriously, Claudia Black and Ben Browder have amazing chemistry! And the whole show was sooo clever!!

Anyway, that's my little update for now. For a more frequently (as in like 100 times more frequently) updated blog, visit valamckeller.wordpress.com

I couldn't think of a good title, so as it is, I'm trying to come up with one as I write.

So I'm in the middle of putting off my paper for Women's Studies. It's an okay topic, but I'm just not impressed with my writing. I feel like I'm too rambly and I'm not making sense. My mom read what I've got so far minus what I wrote in class today and Wednesday (which was another 2 pages) and she said it was good... I don't know, though. I'm not convinced. Apparently my prof is notorious for only giving A's to students who talk all the time in class and I'm pretty quiet.

Just have to mention, can you really blame me for being so quiet?? The class is about minority groups and the only 'marginalized' group I belong to is the female one. Besides that, I'm white, straight, two straight parents who are still married and alive, etc. etc. See? And believe me, no one in my class takes you seriously unless you're part of some sort of minority... *sigh*

Did I mention what my paper is about?? I'm talking about the portrayal of women in Stargate: SG-1 using Vala and Sam as my studies. Sadly, I have to criticize the show, but I still love it, and I hope that love comes through in the final project... At least I got to just watch the show as a good portion of my research!

Ooh! I also got two new editorships!! My two favorite people!! Claudia Black (Vala, Stargate: SG-1) and Jessica Lowndes (Adrianna, 90210). Also, note the new banner.

By the way, if you like SG-1, please read my new fanfiction !! It's only a one-shot and it's purely for fun. No serious stuff

Mmm kay, well I think this is long enough for now. I have 2 midterms to study for once I'm done my paper. Stupid prof randomly made my geology midterm Monday, when it was supposed to be Wednesday!! Grr...

    They are so cute!!

Quote of the Day: "I will call him Squishy, and he will be mine. And he will be my squishy." - Dorrie, Finding Nemo (lol sorry, I call my cat Squishy because of this - you'll see the relevance to this quote if you read the fanfiction)

Song of the Day: Groovy - Paul Goddard feat. Claudia Black

    Hope everyone is well!!

    Hugs and kisses,

    Hello!!

So I decided it was time for my annual blog (lol). I realized just how much has happened in my life lately and I thought I would share it with you. No, I haven't gotten married or had a baby or anything (although seriously, I've had some crazzy baby dreams lately).

First, let's start with the fact that I now have near-black hair. I say "near" because it's actually really really dark brown with a red base. I love it, though. It's also really short (just above my shoulders) compared with how it use to be. I did it as part of an "outrageous acts" assignment for Women's Studies 201. I'm actually on a break from writing about it. I'm almost done too.

The other bit of news is that I've decided that I shall no longer hate people as a whole, and have decided to embrace that whole "love thy neighbor" thing. It's really working, too! I'm much happier and feel lighter. It's weird - hard to describe.

Oh, and I've managed to go to church every week so far this year and I hope to keep it up. Every other year, I've failed by now. I think it's because I really like the church I'm going to now! It's awesome. I'm still working on getting baptised, and I think I want to get it done there. The only other place that would be good is the church I went to as a child with my friend, Amanda.

Well other stuff has been going on, but rather than bore you with that, I will inform you of my Women's Studies class. First of all, I have the most stereotypical WMST prof! She only wears overalls, no bra (which is painfully obvious), no make-up, unplucked eyebrows and a crew cut! It's amazing! :-P. Anyway, Leah told me that as my act, I should dress up like a housewife from the fourties - apron, dress, ringlets, etc. and say things like "Women shouldn't have the vote because we're not as smart" and you know, everything that contradicts the course. My mom vetoed it, but I still thing it would have been hilarious watching everyone develop facial tics and anyrisms. ;-)

Oh, I also made a new video! I made a few, actually, but this one is about Adrianna from 90210 set to Crying Blood by Cander. Click here to watch.

For example, 'sanctuary' could mean anything from a delightful tropical paradise to a lifetime's imprisonment in one of this planet's more unpleasent penal facilities." - Vala Mal Doran, Stargate: SG-1

Song of the day: Goodbye - Jessica Lowndes

    Hello!!

Insomniac: I haven't slept until past three the last few nights because I haven't been feeling well. I've had this for awhile, though, and they finally think they might know what's making me feel so ill. I won't go into that, though. Anyways, I got some painkillers, but it gets all trippy when I take them, so I don't usually take them unless I'm about to go to bed.

Massochistic: I don't really know... I just kind of call myself a massochist... Maybe it's because I have a facebook stalker, but I can't bring myself to be mean and block him... Even though his exact words were "Steph...hun....I'm crushing on you *blush*"

Procrastinating: I am in the middle of finals. Yet, I cannot bring myself to study. I'm a horrible student. I think my procrastinating has only increased since starting university.

Absentee: Well I just haven't posted a blog on here lately, though I've still been online. I've mostly been making submissions, though. Sorry...

Christmas Break: Okay, this isn't part of my title, but whatever. Everyone's coming here for Christmas I'm so excited!! Bella's going to be here in 6 days Then Robyn's going to come here in 8 days, just in time for Carin's birthday party. So exciting!!

FanFiction: I've become a huge Stargate: Atlantis fan and I'm writing a fanfic for it about McKeller's daughter. Click here to go to my account.

I'm officially 18 as of today. I'm now legal to vote, but also to drink (at least here). My sister has taken it upon herself as a mission to get me drunk tonight. I've never been drunk before and I'm not sure I want to start... Must not let it result in a hangover. I start university (well, just orientation) tomorrow...

Orientation Time: Like I said. Tomorrow is the beginning of orientation week. Nothing at all fun... Well, I at least have the same schedule as Leah, so I get to hang out with her... And thankfully at least a few of my friends decided not to move away and to go to school with me... Thank goodness for them!!

People Who Have Moved (of my closest friends): Tina (the saddest... I miss her SOOOO much!!!!!), Robyn (I miss her a lot too), Jihan, Cong, Aleisha, Amanda, and Megan is going soon.

Vacation: It was excellent. Bella and I did have our moments where we fought, but those generally didn't last very long and there were only about 3 of them... I had a great time with her and her parents. We even went down to Pennsylvania for a few days, although since they are Persian, we got stuck waiting for 4 hours at customs! :-(. Oh well, overall I loved it, and I think that's mostly due to seeing Tina again... I miss her.

Well I could regail you with stories from my summer for hours, but seeing as I'm really sad about leaving, I'm not going to do that. It will just result in my crying again. I'm probably moving next summer to the same place as Bella. The school I really wanted to go to is there anyway... I dunno, maybe not...

Oh, and I've been kinda really depressed lately, so I'm actually going to start therapy. I can't go on feeling like this all the time. Hopefully it will help...

    Lots of love!!

Hi!!! I decided it's been awhile, so I'd post another blog :-)

So... Things that have changed. A lot has changed. A lot!

I love you, please come home!: She moved across the country. It wasn't her choice; her parents made her. I miss her so much! I do get to see her in just over 2 weeks, but this is the longest we've ever been apart - including Christmas time.

Blackberry Shortcake: That's the name of my BlackBerry. I'm sure I had it (or was just about to get it) when I last posted a blog, but it was only yesterday that I was finally able to get an email on it. Turns out Rogers screwed up on which data plan I'd signed up for. But now I can finally use it for something other than Brick (high score 16520, level 31/34).

Caught in a storm: Seriously, the weather here is SO tempramental! One day it'll be 31°C and the next it will be a thunder storm! Gah!! I am so sick of rain! I want to wear my pretty summer clothes.

Shopping spree(s): I've been shopping a lot. Mainly because it's my mom's way of entertaining me. She thinks I'm majorly depressed since Bella left. Anyway, I have like an entire new wardrobe, which is exciting. I love all my new clothes and shoes!

It all turned to red: I'm dying my hair on Wednesday to a dark red. I'm so stoked about it. I'm worried it won't look very good, but if worst comes to worst I will just change the color back. *fingers crossed*

Mac killed my inner child: That's why I got a Sony Vaio. I got it for $200 off because they didn't have the model I wanted in stock! It's a sweet laptop too! I'm so excited. I get it tomorrow.

Vacation - have to get away: I'm going to visit Bella in 15 days. My flight leaves at 8 am here and lands about 2 pm her time. I'm SOOOO excited! I'll be gone from July 28th to August 31st. Part of that I'm also going to visit my grandparents.

    Picture of the day:

Quote of the day: "Okay, I love you, buh-bye." - Bella, but she got it from some cartoon...

Friday night was one of the worst nights of my life. Let me walk you through the days events.

I wake up and watch television. I put off studying by eating and going on the computer to "look stuff up". Then I feel guilty and actually do study. At this point, my head starts to pound, especially my right eye, but I suck it up and keep studying...

So then my parents come home with salty food for dinner which enhances my headache. I stop studying and am forced to watch several hours of Days of Our Lives. I finally tell my parents I have a headache (which was actually a migrane) and go downstairs.

It's so bad I go to bed at 9 o'clock. I'm then repeatedly woken up because my parents were either worried and wanted to check on me or because they are incapable of being silent.

At 3:25 in the morning I'm woken up by my mother who tells me that my grandma is in the hospital. They have to go visit her and make sure she's okay. Since I don't know how bad it is, I am worried to the point that, despite my head still killing me (and because of my bruise, I could only sleep on my left side, which was unnerving) I can't sleep.

I force myself out of bed to get an ice pack and advil. Then I call my bestest friend, who of course doesn't pick up, and attempt to leave a coherant message. Finally an hour and a half later, I get back to sleep.

I wake up again at 6 when my parents get home. They don't tell me anything...

Anyway, apparently my grandmother is just fine (thank the Lord!).

Last night I studied physics with Robyn, Sydney and Erik. It was entertaining, at least. I think I actually learned something, which is good. . I hate physics. Wish me luck on my exam tomorrow. I'm so glad I don't ever have to take it again.

Tonight was my sister's birthday party. The three of us teenagers went and hung out in her bedroom. I danced to Bollywood music while Andrew whined and Tory played on Jan's Wii. Eh, it was not too bad.

    Well that concludes this blog.

    Hello again dearest friends

So I'm putting off studying for physics right now I know at some point, guilt will overpower me and I'll have to cram, but I can't work up motivation for an exam that isn't until Monday... I think I remember most things. It's mainly theory I have to study at this point.

I ended calculus with 93%. *tear* I know that isn't bad, but I was at a 96% going in...

I went shopping two days ago and got a bunch of stuff. I got stuff for Bella for when she moves, but then I also got some tank tops, a hoodie and two dresses.

On Tuesday I woke up super early and I knew some of my friends were meeting for coffee at ten. I'd told them I wasn't going to come because I'd have to take the bus and therefore would have to go at like 8, but since I was awake, I decided to go.

I met them at Starbucks, but I was waiting for a bit because they'd met at the school and I took the bus straight there. I sat next to the creepiest guy ever. He would not stop staring at me. *shudders* Even my friends noticed when they came!

Then after coffee I didn't feel like going home, so Niki and I went to the mall for a bit. It was boring, though, and she had to go home (she'd told her mom she was at school studying). We had to wait for my mom to pick us up, though, so we went to Chapters. I bought a really cool book but I'm not allowed to read it until exams are over

Monday I hit my head on yet another random dip in the wall of the basement! I have a huge bruise. In fact, that's why I woke up early Tuesday...

So I've realized that it's been like 2 months since I posted and thought I should get back in the habit of coming on here, since I'm in for a boring July. So here's what's happened since...

Anyway, I graduated from high school 2 weeks ago I still have to go to class, though At least until Wednesday and then I just have finals...

Grad was pretty fun. Not too wild, for me, at least. I went with Megan and Sanchita to Tina's house and we all just chilled there. They had coffee and Tina gave me doogh (a Persian drink). I would've drank more, but she also had me try this really sour fruit that made me nauseous.

After, we watched some French movie, which I didn't pay attention t, since Tina gave me old pictures of herself and her family to look at . She was adorable! Anyway, afterwards we watched The Italian Job, but I was too tired to say awake (it was 5:30 am and I'd woken up at 6).

Our grad was on a Wednesday and so we also got Thursday off. We had to go to school Friday, which I did, but seriously, hardly anyone came (not that I expected them too...). There were 9 people in physics, 15 in calculus and 3 in tourism, including me!

On Monday, my tourism teacher gave a quiz about the movie from Friday, so only 3 of us got good marks on it

My phone totally spazed on me last Saturday. All the sudden, though I discovered it was still on, it went black and wouldn't respond to anything. It totally freaked, and somehow, I convinced my parents to get me a new phone... They got me a BlackBerry!!!! It arrived in the mail Thursday. I love it!!!

Last week we went to an antique shop and I found the coolest stuff! There was a physics textbook from 1923 (pre-neutrons!!) and a book on Catherine the Great. I also got a quilt, two dolls and some jewelry I bloody love antiques!!

I figured out what I'm doing this summer. I'm going on a short vacation with Bella at the end of June, but then she's moving *tear*... So July I'm chilling with my other friends and then I'm going to visit her for all of August; with the exception of spending a week with my grandparents.

Anyways, I've got to do calculus review for my final on Friday.

Hi!! It's been like over 2 weeks since I posted, so I figured I would do a blog now.

Vacation, All I Ever Wanted: So my trip with Bella was awesome Relatively uneventful as far as sightseeing or adventure, but I was with my best friend, so I still had fun. We went to a lot of family things for her, but hey, one of her cousins is REALLY cute and her other cousin was super-fun. We only did a little shopping, though...

Dance, Dance: We went to a party while we were there, because on the second day of our trip was her New Year [1387]. It was good, even though around 1 am the stereo broke... But I did get compliments on how well I can dance to Persian music...

Graduation: While on vacation I managed to find my dress for grad. It's dark bluey-green with a corset back and long, ruffled skirt. So pretty I also have shoes for it already, so I just need a handbag and a wrap now.

Get This Party Started: Today was Megan's birthday, so some of my friends and I are arranging a surprise party for her at her house tomorrow night. Sanchita, Tina and I are going over to set up as soon as she's out of the house. Should be fun I'm excited. [EDIT: The party went pretty well; she was surprised, but I was allergic to the cake ]

Snagglepuss: So yeah, this is just random other stuff. 1) My mom and I have been arguing a lot lately ... 2) I have like 94% in calculus ...[EDIT: although I'm pretty sure I failed the quiz yesterday...] 3) I'm addicted to old cartoons. Which reminds me, I think one is starting now...

So I'm going to make a Brooke Davis video to Little Girl. I've already made one, but I want to make a new one with clips from season 5 because of Victoria. I'm getting clips right now for it.

So Thursday after school my mom was really late picking me up, so I would up getting a drive from Bella's parents and going to the mall with her for a bit. Then on Friday I had to go back to the mall as I realized it would help to have luggage if I'm going away for 11 days

Yesterday Bella came over to help me pack, but we got nothing accomplished. Somehow my mom managed to pull out old baby videos - it's a good thing I was a very smart child. I'm serious, I had excellent grammar and for being 2 at the time of the video we watched, I knew a LOT of words. I amazed myself (I'm not trying to brag, it was just funny).

Today I get to go to a hockey game... I'm not actually looking forward to that. I can't sit through hockey games and my mom won't let me bring a book...

Yay!! Two days from now I'll be at the airport, probably standing in a boring line waiting to check my bags, but I'm still excited. . Anyway, I figured this would be my last blog for a bit, although Bella is bringing her laptop, so I may get a chance to post while I'm there. Just wanted to say goodbye.

So actually, I'm pretty happy, and there are several reasons for that...

Reasons from School: Well, I'm actually not sucking at calculus. I got the only mark above 90% on the last test and the majority of my clas$ failed it... Similarily, I'm getting about an 85% in physics, which is hard to do with me teacher.

Reasons from Friends: I'm going on vacation with Bella for Spring Break!! I'm so excited for it!! We're going for a total of 11 days and 10 nights - and missing 2 days of school. We're going with her family, which could be awkward, but her parents are pretty cool, so it should be okay.

Reasons from Shopping: There's a reason I'm called Becky by my friends... I'm a complete shopaholic!! Today I got: 3 dresses (so pretty!!!), a jacket, 3 sweaters, 2 tops, 2 pairs of dress pants, some fun stuff for my friends, a gift for Bella for her New Year, and part of Robyn's birthday gift.

One Last Thing: I talked to my parents and they're arranging to get me into clas$es so I can be baptised

Wish me luck; I had a calculus test today and it seemed too easy... I was done with 20 minutes to spare and the rest of my clas$ was complaining how hard it was... I'm hoping it's just that I'm good at calculus and do all of my homework...

Erm... This weekend has been... Interesting... My week did get better; then WAY worse. But hey, I avoided doing that thing I did; hard as it was! So go me!

Well I was hanging out with my friends most of the week. Tuesday night was Bella's last night in town so we went shopping and hung out. Wednesday I went with Steph, Robyn and Cong as they ran (I watched ) and then we went out for dinner. Thursday I went shopping with Sanchita and Steph, which was fun, and we also went for dinner.

Friday I went to Sanchita's house with Robyn and Megan. We talked and watched Disney movies. Then I went with Robyn and Cong to see a movie (we saw The Eye because Jumper was sold out). When I got home, though, my mom was really upset (she'd been kinda on-edge all day) and this resulted in hysterical crying on both our parts. I wound up staying at my aunt's house... I just got home...

My mom's in a better mood now. Believe me when I say it was one of the worst nights of my life. At least it's not like that at the moment...

Tomorrow I'm going to the mall (again) with Sanchita and possibly some other people...

Frick. I was having an awesome day and in the course of about an hour it went from great to horrible. *pouts*

    Here is the bad:

    1) Well now my bloody keyboard is messed up. It was fine a second ago, but I cannot use any punctuation other than the ones you see here, and I am getting symbols whenever I hit the Ctrl button...

    2) I had a really dumb calculus question that took me an hour until I finally realized what I had done wrong, but by then I was just angry.

    3) I am starving but the idea of eating right now really just makes me ill. And I am not even sick!!

    4) I worked really hard on a video of my friends and I... And facebook deleted it.

    5) Bella, me and a bunch of my friends had all these plans for the long weekend (this weekend) and they are all destroyed by the fact that suddenly Bella is going across the country.

    6) So not only are my plans cancelled, but I am not going to see my best friend for a long time. We saw how this worked out for me over the Christmas break... Besides, she only wants to go because then she will not be alone with her mother...

The only thing that has remained good was that I somehow pulled off a perfect score on my calculus quiz from last Friday. Oh, and I got complimented on my flexibility by a dance teacher at lunch today...

Kay, I will stop ranting now. I just needed to get that out. I am on the verge of tears. Damnit. Things were finally getting good again!

Oh. My. Goodness. Seriously, if I make it through calculus, it will be a miracle! I'm seriously already dying in that course. The first night I broke down in tears because I didn't understandsomething (it's been over a year since I was in math). Wish me luck. The only plus is having Hannah and Jackie with me.

Physics isn't so bad because Robyn and Emun are with me. I have my friend Michelle with me in Tourism and that's such a slack course, so it shouldn't be too bad. Spare is awesome, though, because I have Carin and Tina.

This weekend is so dull. I've been watching Doctor Who and One Tree Hill fanvids, and Sabrina the Teenage Witch DVDs... I wrote a poem, too, called Forest of Fears. Aside from that, I just have to finish a lab and find ways to occupy myself today and tomorrow (long weekend).

On Friday I went shopping with Bella. And by shopping,I mean we went into 3 stores, bought 2 items from Sephora, and then spent four hours just sitting and talking. After, we saw Over Her Dead Body which I actually thought was hilarious, although parts of it made me sad...

So I wrote a new story, called I'll Be Missing You. It's kinda sad, though. It made 3 out of the 4 friends who read it cry and I was tearing up as I wrote it... So if you have a chance, please read it. Here's a link.

Alright, well I'm starting a new story and then working on a physics lab today.

I finished all my exams (*cheers*), so all weekend was spent watching DVDs of Sabrina the Teenage Witch and Reba. Oh, I made 2 videos, as well. One was a slideshow of myself and Bella, while the other was of all of my friends and incorporated actual video footage as well as photos.

Tuesday after my chem test I slept at Bella's house, which was fun. We watched TV and danced allnight. I also straightened her hair for her. We talked until 3 am when we both realized we were too tired to formulate thoughts. Then we went to the mall the next day and hung out

Today I went shopping with Bella and Steph (other Steph ), then to see 27 Dresses and then back to the mall for awhile. The movie was cute Overall all I bought was a pajama top - same as Bella got - which is insanely comfortable, and a DKNY perfume. I'm wearing the top now and ... well ... it's never coming off!!

Tomorrow is another lounging day, but then Wednesday I start semester two. I am excited to have a spare with Bella and Carin, and physics has so many people in it that it's bound to be fun, but so far no one is in my calculus course and I got stuck in tourism! Here's hoping I know someone in each one... Or at least tourism

Oh, I created a website for my poetry. I'm not a great poet, but if you want to read it, click here. I'm working on a new story about two best friends and one of them dies... I haven't decided how, though. I'm only 2 pages in...

Except, it probably will, and with it will come my chemistry final. Yes, the lovely one worth half of my overall grade A bunch of my friends are writing math right now, so I'm relatively bored without them. After posting this I'm going to go study. Great fun...

In case you are wondering where the title came from, it's from the movie I watched last night entitled Kal Ho Naa Ho. Tina lent it to me awhile back and Niki really wanted me to watch it. It's a beautiful film - really funny, but then it gets sad.

Umm, so there's a lot of really not-fun drama going on with my friends. And it's all for a really stupid reason- something that happened when I hung out with Steph and Carin on Saturday... So now I'm kinda caught in the middle, which sucks, but I think they know I'm not taking sides. I'm just being moral support for both...

I'm unfortunately not allowed to disclose certain information to anyone, though, which is hard because I know something is going to happen, and a major fight will occur, but I can't talk about it to anyone, even Bella. So hard! I can keep a secret, but this is rediculous.

    Okay, here's something retarded....

Our first one was yesterday for the written part A of English 30-1. Yeah, our overall test is worth 50% of our mark and this part is worth 25% total.

Okay, so I'm writing the second written question (the first just required a story, so that was done already) and I'm writing about Pride & Prejudice, which I haven't actually read... I've just read it on Sparknotes and watched the movie (and part of the mini-series).

Nevertheless, I'm not doing too badly; especially given that our topic was Using the text source of your choice, discuss the interplay between fear and foresight when an individual is making a life-altering decision. It was hard, but I sounded like I'd read the book, at least.

Yes. Then, 2 hours into a 3 hour test, the fire alarm goes off. We are shuffled outside and forced to stand out in the cold (about -10°C- most of us without jackets) for half-an-hour. Grr. And all that had actually happened was that the paint fumes in our school had gotten into the vents and overheated... Thankfully we got the extra time to finish...

Wish me luck on my next exam - chemistry 30. Here's hoping that one isn't interrupted.

PS: I did talk to Bella and Niki about my problem, so although it's still very prominent and very much there, at least they are there for me. Thanks to everyone who offered their support.

PPS: Okay, so I kinda want to tell you my problem, but don't read this if you don't want to know...
