As you may recall in my last article i mentioned my impressions of Modern Warfare 2. First impressions after playing for an hour were great, and after spending more time (8 hours or so) with the game the impressions are even better.
Firstly the amount of weapons, attachments, and perks is just astonishing. There are so many options and there is no doubt that this adds so much more to the gameplay. The maps also are full fo variety, but genrally the maps are not as good as the ones in call of duty 4. There are certain maps here that apply to certain weapons, and if you have the wrong weapon for a map it can be very crippling.
Multiplayer has still been the only aspect of the game ive touched. I have mainly been playing team deathmatch because simply it is so much fun, but I also tried out some other modes. Mosh Pit is a new mode that combines all of the team games into one. For instance, one round would be team deathmatch and the next round would be capture the flag. The capture the flag mode is great and really fun. It is very team oriented. Headquarters is about the same as call of duty 4 except this time around there is a lot more grenade spam (Flashbangs).
It is safe to say Modern Warfare 2 is a game of the year contender, but there are some balence issues with perks and killstreak bonus in the multiplayer that can make the game really one sided.

Hey guys and gals wazzupp.
AS I was playing some Rainbow six Vegas 2 multiplayer today I came to the relization that I do not like the style and flow of the game as much as Vegas 1. In comparison I think Vegas 2 runs too fast for a shooter of its type, and I often get my ass kicked. Some of the new maps like Villa do not fit the game well. It also is way slower to rank up. Whats been up with me? Ive been playing a bunch and have a lot of other things going on I have been streaming me playing live if anyone here is interested in watching. www.justin.tv/toolzz360
Picked up Jak and Daxter, Jak 3, and Jak combat racing. I plan on doing a playthrough of all of them in a row on my stream. i already have jak II.

-Fifa 10 a yearly purchase for me
-NHL 10 might possibly get this one game improves every year
-Forza 3- Love the forza series but havent played much of 2 yet
-COD Modern Warefare 2 do I really need to say anything
-Metroid Triliogy- havent played teh primes and they all coem together
-Re Darkside chronicles- loved umbrella chronicles

Hey guys its been a while just havent had time to post with work, but that is starting to wind down now. Heres an update on what I have been doing gaming wise.
PS3----
I Finsihed MGS 4 yesterday on Normal, completing my playthrough of MGS 1-4 in a row. I am still split between MGS 4 and 3 as being the best in the series. The graphics in MGS 4 are the best I have seen in any game so far really spectacular. 10/10
Street Fighter IV still playing a lot of this online and off. I am up to just under 150 hours playtime, and this is really becoming a very strong contender for my game of the year award. Can win with a few characters now including.....Blanka, Bison, Balrog, Sakura, Akuma and some others. 9.5/10
UFC 2009 I was unsure wheather to buy it, but I got it at launch and it is pretty darn good. I am playing online a lot still trying to get the trophies for lvl 50, 100 wins, and 1 mill fans. I am almost there currently I am lvl 47, my record is 89-67, and i have 600,000 fans. Really a great game online and off althought it is a bit laggy. 8.5/10
RE5 just cleaning up the last few trophies I need and gonna start to play some versus. 9.5/10

Tom Clancy's HAWX- Didnt know what to expect when I picked this up at teh gamestop sale 20$ one. I must say it has to be the most underrated game of the year so far. Online is a blast, the campaign is pretty damn sick, graphics nuts. It really is just a great game and a pleasent surprise. 9.0/10
BF 1943:
Some of the most fun ive had in any online game. More maps and content would be nice, but cant beat the price. Im currently at lvl 31 of 50. 9.5/10
Enchanted Arms. Ok SRPG, doing a lot of grinding at 77% done. Kinda taken a back seat just dont want to grind any more. 40 hours in. 6.5/10
Call of Duty 4-- Awesome games just countinue to show up in the blog dont know why i didnt get this sooner. Best online shooter. 9.5/10

whats up guys as you can see i havent been on in a long while and have been busy with work. As for games i have a few different things to discuss
First I will talk about UFC Undisputed. I have a love hate relationship with the game, as the controls are **** stupid as hell but teh game itself is pretty fun. Online has been a major dissapointment so far but its still kinda addicting. Ill probally end up selling it soon because the game really is garbage
Fifa 09 I have been playing this sparingly, and have been mainly playing Ultimate Team and online quick matches. One of the best sports games ever.
Still been playing a lot of street fighter 4, even though that is startign to get old too.
Also been playing burnout paradise a little bit on the ps3 its a pretty good game but nothing overly special about it.
I just got call of duty 4 and played it for the first time this morning. I love it.
Also on teh 360 ive been playing enchanted arms...decent rpg but a lot of grinding, fifa, rock band 2, and virtua tennis 3...already beat it on ps3 just want some achves, and vegas 2 which is pretty good, but not as good as cod4.

Legends Of Wrestlemania
I had graded this a 7.5 in my previous blog and after playing it more and completing it 100% in 3 days...the game is not as good as I origionally thought. The best mode in the game was legend killer mode, and at the end of it you have to face the entire roster of wrestlers (3
consecutivly. The thing that sucks is that you cannot save your progress, so you have to beat all 38 without shutting the system off. It took about an hour and a half. The rewrite, relive, and rewhatever were not as good as i intially thought. The objectives in matches just got stupid with the last couple matches in each, and you had to complete all of the objectives to past, i think the last fight stone cold vs rock had like 20 objectives. The thing I hate most about the game is that the controls are horrid, which really affects the gameplay. The nostalgia factor boosts the score up. Online was also horrible and tremendously laggy. Final Score 6.5 just below average.Left 4 Dead
I am so torn on this game. I decided to try the versus mode, where you get to control the special zombies, and I intially hated it. You get kicked from games every couple minutes, and often times your teamates wont do anything forcing you to quit. However i just got finished playing some vs with good players, and it was alot alot better. We were actually communicating and we had a good time. The campaign online isnt much different from the offline. It is a little easier playing with other people vs the AI, but often times people do not stick together. Expert mode is also crazy hard. The gamneplay to me seems repative and i have been very bored at times with the game. I will probally end up sending it back to gamefly soon. Score downgraded to 7.5. I think the score could end up anywhere from a 6.5-8.
Backloggery.com has decided the next game I should play is Outlaw Tennis on the origional xbox. I have decided to stream a lot more often (wow that didnt make sense) and I enjoy it. I had about 100 viewers watching me at once, and I find it fun to chat with other people why they watch you play.

Impressions
Left 4 Dead
Ive spent about 3 hours with L4d going through three of the four campaigns in single player. I plan on playing co-op in the future. The single player functions the same as co-op, and for the most part the AI is very good and they are not any hinderance. They did however leave me out to die right at the end of one campaign right as they were leaving. The graphics in the game are very good, as well as the sound affects and teamate banter. I plan on trying out the versus mode today as long with a little bit of the co-op. For me this game does not differentiate too much, and I am glad I only rented it. It really isnt worth a purchase unless you just want to shoot zombies over and over. Thats pretty much the only game mechanic. I still think the game is pretty good overall, but im nearly done with only after a few hours. Some of the achviements will take a while, and i just dont see myself playing the game for that length of time. 8/10
Legends Of Wrestlemania
I bought this game on pure nostalgia after watching some youtube videos on it. I played for a couple hours yesterday, and I must say the nostalgia factor and presentation of the game is tremendous. I havent watched wrestling in about 7 years or so, but this game has just taken me back to childhood wrestling. Despite the great presentation, the game is just kinda average. The gameplay is pretty simplified, and the crowd graphics look horrid. The wrestlers also do not look right, they look like figurines rather than people. There are a bunch of game modes to play but they dont last very long. 7.5/10
I will be brodcasting on justin.tv left for dead and legends of wrestlemania at around 3pm est. just look for toolzz360 if you want to watch might also play some sf4.....

So tomorrow I start my internship with the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, AA Baseball Affliate to the Toronto Blue Jays. I'm a little nervous, but Im starting earlier than everyone else to get a little bit of a jump start. I will be doing various stuff at home games like taking tickets, and selling merchandise. It should go well. I have to live on campus for the summer, and I have a 300$ deposit on housing due for 2morrow, so that means I probally wont buy another game until the summer is over because money will be extremly tight this summer. I will be making a little bit, but it is not nearly enough. I have been playing a lot of street fighter as of late, and I am close to 2000 BP's a number I thought I would never acheive. My blanka has gotten very very very good, and I am winning 8 out of every 10 matches on average. I plan on playing street fighter and RE5 a lot since I wont be buying new games. I have a few things to sell and that will help a little too. I will hopwever try to keep my gamefly sub, but they have been so slow on getting games shipped. I should be getting left 4 dead sometime soon. thats about it. oh re5 versus is very sick I love it.

I wanted to blog yesterday, but I completly forgot. There has been a lot going on in the gaming front. So I beat call of duty in 2 days and its been a few days since ive beaten it. I also was able to get about 40% done the game on veteren, but it has gotten very hard, even harder than killzone 2. I see myself only playing a vetren mission here and there. The game was only a rental, but I must say that I will probally buy it. The multiplayer is completly sick. Not only is regular MP sick but the Nazi Zombie mode was a ton of fun with co-op. Game score 9.0
I also had the chance yesterday to have my first real session of Battlefield Bad Companies Multiplayer. I think it is good, definetly not as good as call of duty. It seems a little bland. I am a rank 7 out of 25. I will try to play it to the top rank, but It might get boring. The single player is much better than call of duties though so its a tradeoff. game score 9.0. I will probally end up trading in bad company and unreal tournament 3 for both cod4 and waw. They are about even points on goozex.
I also completed Resident Evil 5 for the second time, this time it was a solo run with the AI. The AI was very spotty at times but overall it wasnt too much of a burden. Me and my cousin will be starting another run this time on veteren and then pro. Right now Resident Evil is still in a dead tie with Killzone 2 for GOTY.
I am trying to get through Super Mario Galaxy, but the game has just gotten very boring and Im at star 40 out of 100. score downgraded to 8.5
For my youtube page I am in the process of uploading a complete playthrough of waw along with a couple hours of nazi zombies play. After that I am going to start a playthrough of Unreal Tournament III on insane, resident evil 4 pro mode will be filmed, a lot of street fighter matches, legends of wrestlemania playthrough, and a few bad company MP sessions and maybe even a walkthrough of that if I feel like going through the SP again.
New Games, I am still trying to get wheelman, eat lead, or wanted from gamefly but they are slow as hell. I bought legends of wrestlemania and am waiting for it to come in the mail. Ill end up selling it for sure when Im done. Next game I plan on buying at release is Punch out WII on May 18th.

So today I went to my schools library, and in the games section they had Call of Duty World at War, so I decided to rent it and give it a shot. I have been recommened to check out the nazi zombie mode, so I have to beat the campaign first. After playing for two hours the campaign is pretty good. It was tough to figure out what was going on with the gameplay early on, as I didn't know who was ann enemy and who was a friendly. Its a little easier now. The controls do a fine job, and are what I am use to for an FPS. Im playing the game on normal and so far the only time I died was because of a gernade toss. I can't really comment on the graphics since i am not playign in hd (filming a complete playthrough for youtube), and I will play in hd for a second run through of the campaign. An early score would be about an 8.5. Its a little better than brothers In arms hells highway which I rated an 8.0. My youtube channel is really starting to grow, as Ive posted 50 videos and just recently put up a series of 18 grand theft auto IV Online Videos. Here is the link.

Love the creative blog title? Today I went to the dentist in the morning and had a cavity filled...i dont mind the dentist it was quick and easy. I then went to teh store right next to the dentist and iZ ended up getting Fifa 2006 world cup on the gamecube for 5$ (couldnt pass on a 5$ new game) and Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion (ps3) 20$. I have been wanting oblivion on teh 360, the goty version, but i decided to get the regular version for my ps3 so I could play for long hours without having to let the console cool off like i would have to do with the xbox. I have not been able to get into any bethesda games including fallout 3, i struggle with them big time. Nevertheless i still am gonna give it a shot. I played soem street fighter 4 today, and I will be getting back into that a little since i sent killzone 2 and sji-doo back to gamefly. I managed to get a 9 win streak online, (need 10 for teh trophy, and i lost on the 10th match). That was kind of a bummer. I started RE5 again going through this time with the ai and not a co-op partner. I decided to play on amateur even though i already beat it on normal to see how the ai is. So far so good on chapter 2-2. The AI does get killed once per boss fight which kinda sucks.
I also played Killzone 2 multiplayer for about an hour, and I enjoyed it even though it was very very fast paced. I like how they combined all the diffrent mulitplayer modes liek attack and defend and deathmatch all into one game mode. I will be buying killzone when I can get it for about 30$ used somewhere since i already beat it twice, and I figure ill play teh campaign again and spend a couple weeks with the MP. Great Games early on in the year so far Killzone 2 and Resident Evil 5 are at a dead tie for my game of the year, with street fighter 4 in 3rd place.

Me and my cousin finished off mercenaries unlocking all of teh charecters with A rankings on the levels. I plan on going back and playing more of it though. It is equall to about a game these days clocking at around 8 hours to a rank everything...thats great for a bonus mode, and it still hasent gotten stale yet. RE5 is now in a dead tie with Killzone 2 for my early goty. Killzone 2's online (which I havent touched yet will determine the outcome). I went to gamestop today just because I was out and I had dentist, and I ended up getting teh dragon ball z box set for the ps2. It had 3 games for only 19$, and i needed those exact three to round out my dragon ball z collection. Well I think thats about it for now.

Ah yes one of the bonus modes in resident evil 5. Played this for about 4 hours tonight with my cousin. Awesome game mode. tremendous. Basically you are givin 2 minutes to kill as many majini and bosses that spawn. You have to collect time canisters to extend the time. Get over 80,000 points and you unlock a charecter for use and an A ranking. We played through all the maps but one and we managed to get 4 a rankings out of 7 or eight. We missed another by one zombie kill. Excellent game mode and I could easily spend 50+ hours playing just this mode. Resident Evil up to a 9.5 ranking. Might gwt Call of Duty 5 WAW tomorrow when im out, i saw kmart having a sale on it for 30$ in new hampshire, and im curious if they have it here, if they do I will buy it.
Right now Killzone 2 is goty over RE5 just slightly

So I beat RE5 today with my cousin after 13 hours over 3 days of playing. The same impressions do still hold true. That would make it the 12th game beaten of 2009. I plan on finishing killzone 2 on elite as my next priority only 4 levels to go. I am also trying to finish ski-doo challenge i only have 4 races left am I am at about 85% completion. I also cannot wait to play re5 bonus games such as mercenaries. I am also thinking about starting re4 or ff7.

I got resident evil 5 two days ago, and me and my cousin have been going through it together in co-op. We are on chapter 5-3 of 6-3, and we are about 80% done the game.
The gameplay of RE5 has changed a little bit from previous Resident Evils. The game takes on more of a run and gun feel, which really doesnt make the game better or worse as compared to the others, its just a slightly different style. With that said the game has not felt as epic as resident evil 2 or 4 (my favorites). The game is also a good 5-7 hours shorter than resident evil 4, well isnt that the trend for next gen games? The boss fights have been fairly easy, and we have only died a few times in the game. Overall the gameplay is fun, but it really doesnt feel like the best for resident evil.
The graphics in the game are above average, but they really arnt overaly fantastic. Killzone 2 which I am playing now has the best graphics I have ever seen, and RE5 just isnt as good as killzone 2. Re5 does sound great and it stays true to the resident evil atmosphere.
I am having a blast with re5 even though it sadly hasn't stuck to RE traditions. It stills feels like RE but it just feel different if that makes any sense. Im really disapointed the game only takes 10-13 hours to beat. Overall RE 5 is a solid 9.0/10 with teh best parts of the game yet to come.
I also bought Fifa Soccer 09 when I got RE5 due to the trophy patch released yesterday. FIFA 08 is one of my favorite games, and it scored a perfect 10. Fifa 09 improves over fifa 08 in nearly every catagory, therefore what can I give it.....a 11 or 12?
I maneged to get through 6 levels of Killzone 2 on elite during my JTV Broadcast, and I plan on broadcasting the last 4 levels sometime this week. I am loving killzone 2....9.5/10 score so far

Sorry I havent been on in awhile, I just havent felt liek writing anything out lol. I guess ill cover gaming stuff first. I beat killzone 2 today on the second difficulty after getting it yesterday. Prolly teh quickes ive beaten a legit game in only 2 days. There are parts of the game that are unbeliavably good, and other parts that dont feel right. The controls and aiming took about half of the campaign to get use too, the last level was ridiculously hard and gotten me the angriest ive prolly been playing a game. The graphics are the best ive ever seen hands down. The ausio could use some work. Overall KZ2 is gonna get an 8.5-9.5 and it depends on the mulitplayer. Tomorrow I'm starting the campaign on elite. Ski-Doo challenge on the ps3 is a pretty bad game. Nearly everything about the game is frustrating and partially broken. I have scored that a 5.0, and I am halfway through the game.
I have gotten a lot better at street fighter 4 and am winning alot of online matches now. This week I will be getting RE5 on friday, and I cannot wait. Im getting it just in time for spring break. I have been broadcasting myself playing on justin.tv. Any one heard of it. you can watch me play live at justin.tv/toolzz360. I will be playing teh entire kkillzone 2 campaign on elite there. I will also try to get the footage on youtube as well. Soem of my friends have had fun watchign me play its a good time. I usually broadcast at night after 6pm eastern time.

p.s. Killzone 2 is my 11th game beaten of the year and 2nd of the month...I also beat bad company again on teh hardest difficulty.

Back with them main reason was so i can get some playthroughs of newer games for my youtube channel. Currently up on youtube i have a demo playthrough of resident evil 5 which you all saw....wanted weapons of fate....and wheelman with vin disel. I also have 7 videos of me playing street fighter 4 online. For the majority I will not be posting them on gamespot much, because youtube with my resident evil vids thinks that i am violated the copyright of cnet even though i posted the videos here. Maybe I will put soem up here I dont know yet.

Oh Jeez back to syracuse another 7 hour bus ride. Our mens basketball team upset UMASS and made the semis....they now have to travel to where i was just 3 days ago with the womens team. The womens team lost today in the quarters, but they had their best season in history making it that far.
