  Reports of my decision making have been extremely exagerrated.

  The games I want to play on the PS3 aren't there yet.

  The 360 as of today, does not have the main Final Fantasy RPGs in its future.

  The PS3 is too expensive (even at $399) to get right now, especially without the games I want.

  The 360 Arcade pack is a joke without MS providing a competitively priced HDD add-on ($189 for 120 gigs? MS, you smell like crack.)

  Devs and publishers keep whining about how hard the PS3 is to develop for. They've been stroking that Direct X tool for so long that they forgot how to program without it.

  The 360 is too western/shooter focused to be my only console for this gen.

  The Wii is an outdated console for toddlers and their grandmothers. Non-gamers buy it for Wii sports. The Japanese buy it for the "cute". Also, it has not MGS, no Final Fantasy. No meaty games that aren't coated with sugar. Sheep say it's "fun". I'm sure it is, in a Dave & Buster's sort of way.

  So, what to do? Enjoy my PSP. Consider a DS (it's almost worth buying now, I guess). If Harvey Birdman is not a Phoenix Wright clone (or is not good), then I will purchase a DS for that series, and Revenant Wings.

  I guess I'm still waiting. I'm waiting on Final Fantasy for the PS3 and waiting for the 360 to give me a reason NOT to wait for Final Fantasy.

  Wow Sony, just wow.

  No backwards compatibility with PS2 games, although you can play PS1 games WHICH YOU ALREADY SELL IN YOUR FREAKING STORE!!!!!!

  WHat dumb*** thought this was a good idea?

  I almost hurts my heart to see something this stupid being done when the PS3 is already having a hard time.

  Do they think cheap gamers will want to give up their PS2 games this quickly? Do they really think that cheap gamers aren't going to trya dn trade in a PS2 toward the new system?

  Getting rid of PS1 emultaion, fine.

  Getting rid of PS2 emulation, WTF???????!!!!!!!

  My God Sony, are you actually trying to kill off the PS2 now?

  The PSP may be the last SOny system I ever buy. This is RIDICULOUS!!!

  I have made my decision.

  If a PS3 SKU is released at $399, I will get it this year.

  If not, I will get a 360. (Goodbye FF )
