Yep, spoilers. You may or may not find them here. But what you will find is how I feel about them.

Spoilers essentially let the gamer know stuff about the game, typically prematurely (before the game comes out). For example, Final Fantasy XIII. Supposedly there was to be only one world, Coccoon, but lately, Square - and some reviewers - have been telling us about a 2nd world, the fact that it's there, as well as about some of the characters. I mean, they should tell some, but not that much.

And then there's Lunar. I played the demo of Silver Star Harmony, and I loved it so much. So I got the game, but before that, I went on YouTube looking for footage of the same area from the SCD and PS1 versions. Guess what I found on top of that? The identity of the final boss. Yes, I know he is introduced early in the game (not so bad at first, save for what happens in the prologue...), but still...Oh, and for those who own the UMD version: the manual has a bit of a spoiler.

    Did you hear that?

I said the manual has a spoiler. That should not happen. Really. I mean, I want to buy these games and be fully surprised by everything (while checking out a gameplay video here and there), but come on, do even the DEVS have to go so far to give some spoilers?

Not to mention, for Lunar, I have several predictions that might come true as the game goes on (meaning: I haven't finished it yet.)

A long, long time ago at a Best Buy not far enough away...

Okay, it was more like 2 weeks or so ago.

One day, I recieved a newsletter from Zune. I looked through it to see if there was anything that they had for free. One thing that caught my eye was a new anime called Dragonaut: The Resonace. I clicked on the link to be taken to the Zune site to preview and buy it. I did not, as I had no Zune to play it on, there were only 2 episodes avaliable, and I didn't have enough points to downlad it.

Then, I looked on PSN via Media Go, since I had about $10 from the PSN card I got for Christmas. Turns out that they did have it, and so I purchased and downladed the 1st couple of episodes.

I actually am now into the series as a result of that. I ended up buying more PSN funds just to download the rest of the 13 episodes that they had avaliable.

And so, last night, I went by Best Buy to buy another PSN card, and Part 2 of the series (14-26). And guess how much that cost.

    $50. That's right, $50.

Which brings me to my point - I seriously think that anime DVDs are overpriced. I mean, I don't wanna have to pay $50 for an anime DVD (I did anyway, as it was the only means of seeing the rest of the episodes...plus I had a lot of BB gift cards and such). It's a rip-off. I was conidering getting the entire Fullmetal Alchemist series on DVD, but that would cost about $200 for all the DVDs.

However, on iTunes, I could buy both seasons of Fullmetal Alchemist for $100. Really, I just don't get it at all.

But...then again, not every non-Naruto anime series (in fact, hardly any) is avaliable on iTunes...

Question for those who have seen Dragonaut: The Resonance: (I haven't finished the series yet, so if the answer's in Ep 24-26, don't give it away.)

    ***SPOILER***

I know that some of you guys probably don't care about short blog posts like....this, but I forgot to say that there was a Gamestop 1v1 tourney at my Gamestop a few weeks ago, and I won!...err, that is IF there was anyone else to play against!! Anyways, I registered for the Round 2 tournament (hosted on Gamebattles), and I haven't gotten the email they said they were going to send me yet.

Have any of you played in this tournament? If you won, did you get your email yet?

Really, guys? Lately things haven't been going so well for me. Care to know what? Really?

    You sure?

Okay, okay. I'll tell you. First, I have a lot to deal with here living at college. Things like class, roommates (especially), and me getting screwed over, are really...screwing me over. There's also the fact that some events, classes, people, or other things that's supposed to happen, either don't happen, gets changed, or people just don't like me.

Then there's the fact that I get really angry very easily for some reason, especially after I come home every weekend and they make me do stuff I don't want to.

Lastly, I wonder when I'll meet that one girl who would be as nice and caring to/for me as a certain Nedian I know cares for a certain earthling who saved her 2 times in a row...(hint: they're both in my banner as of now) ("The Little Bird" and/or the japan theme for FFXIII come to mind)

But the good news is that I (can't be mentioned here) and I took some people's asses inn MW2 and kicked them. Especially since I signed up for the Gamestop tournament near me.

Oh, and I got two random GameFAQs moderations that I can never seem to view. Great. Just great.

Okay, so a while back I donwloaded Otaku's Dream 3rd Anime Mix, a huge simfile pack for Stepmania. I enjoyed one of those songs, which is the opening theme for Baldr Force EXE. So, I thought I might actually watch an ep or two of the anime.

I did so last night via PSN (on my PSP), and little did I know that it was only 4 episodes long. Just now, the download for the 3rd ep has completed, but little did I know that it was on Xbox Live, too.

So I was like "What? I could've bought it over Xbox?" and "Oh well, I didn't have the points anyway."

But there goes watching it on my PC (since Zune 4.0 should allow me to download shows bought over Live when the Xbox update hits later this fall), but hey, I get to watch it on my PSP for the same price. (And PS3 if I had one.)

While browsing XBLM, I also noticed something surprising. What the hell's Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood?

A while ago, I saw on the Second Story boards that there was a topic about some avalanche scene (now archived). So, I decided to play through again and record it for you, especially since it's not on YouTube...yet. Just watch.

Okay, so I'm now at my college. Just moved in, had classes, all of that. Me and my roommies are getting along just fine...until nightfall. Apparantly they don't like following the rules, like I do, so they like to make noise when I'm trying to sleep. I cannot accept that. So, I ask them to turn it down so that I can go to sleep. They do that, but I can still hear the noise for about 10 more minutes before I can finally get some shuteye.

Once I've gotten to sleep, I got some good sleep. So good, in fact, that I usually had some good (and sometimes ugly) dreams. In this post, I'd like to share with you 3 of the dreams I've had recently. And before you ask, yes, two of them are Star Ocean-related.

-My memory of one dream was quite short. Has anybody played Wild Arms ACF? It's where there's 3 people (your allies) standing there, doing battle with your opponent as according to your commands. Well, this battle was between Claude (and maybe Celine and Ashton, I don't remember) and Rena, who was possessed by some evil spirit. I was spectating, and it was the end of the battle, during which there was some dialog. I hardly remember what it was, though it involved Rena trying to get the evil spirit to go away before she or Claude hurt each other. She was like "Get...get out of me...what the hell?!" and the spirit once again took posession of her. That's all I remember.

-The next dream I had was at my house, and some girl and my dad were arguing about something. After it was over, my dad went to his bathroom, and the girl went up to me and said "Your dad is a real ************." and walked away somewhere.

-Last night, my last dream took place at my house again, and my dad was watching an anime commercial on TV. You'll never guess what that anime commercial was.

    ...

    ...

    ...

    ...

...give up? Okay, well...it was a commercial that used START as the song, and it used bits and pieces of the Star Ocean Second Evolution intro as well as clips of Rena that I haven't even seen before. At the end of the commercial, the title of the anime had absolutely NOTHING to do with Star Ocean. However, I was surprised to find anime that's not Naruto or DBZ on TV. Now, if only that dream came real and the anime was "Star Ocean EX, Season 2", then I'd be one happy boy.

Yes, those were sweet dreams indeed. I wish I could visit them again. Now, sometimes I've been sleepy in class because of it.

I just finished making an AMV for Star Ocean EX (mostly for the "Legendary Warrior" and the "Divine Maiden"...if you know who I mean), but I don't know if I should post it or not...? Might violate the ToU... What do you guys think?

So, I just got finished watching the last episode of Star Ocean EX on DVD, and I'm both happy and sad.

    Happy because:
-Ronyx (or Ronixis...whatever you call him) talks to Claude via communicator, and he hears the voices of Rena, etc. in addition to Claude's. (Doesn't happen in the game.) (Okay, this was in an earlier episode, but...)
-Claude actually powers up to defeat Gabriel. (doesn't happen in the game)
-Rena says the 3 words I've been wanting for her (or Claude) to say ever since I've played the game. Again, it doesn't happen in the game.

    Sad because:
    -Gabriel's hair is white.
-Why couldn't the anime end after the beam of light (from Claude's phase gun) was fired at him instead of hanging us over a cliff?
-No english translation of Star Ocean EX in audiobook form. Not even script translations.
-Claude and Rena never did this, especially since Rena said...well, you know.

I've been looking for the Star Ocean EX box set for some time, and I've found it in good quality at Amazon.com from the seller animecorner. It was about 40 bucks, so I saved it to my cart.

That was a few weeks ago. Now, the listing from that seller is no longer there, and when I try to move the item to my cart, it gives me an error stating that the seller is no longer selling it. ****!! It had free shipping, too!!!!

All the other ones listed are also about 40 bucks but they don't have the boxes.

OK, so Madden NFL 10 is coming out this Friday, right? I don't have any Madden games, simply because I sucked and didn't know what the hell was going on as far as controls and plays are concerned.

So I download the demo for 10 and I play as the Giants. When I get to the field, the first thing I see is the coin toss. I know about that. Then I see something about recieve left or right or something. That I didn't understand. What's more is that I still don't understand all of the plays, or what the controls are (but I figured out some of them). So I start moving around, figuring out what the controls are and understanding other things.

However, at one point, the other team was about to score, when I somehow got the ball and ran (using RT to help) all the way to the other side and scoring. That's how I won the game. Other than that moment, the audience was booing at me because I sucked.

I just wish that there was a Madden game with a tutorial mode that shows beginners how to play the game.

I'm serious. I don't like Nintendo (other than their Mario/Zelda/Metroid games...that's about it), simply because of the fact that they seem to be not caring too much about us hardcore gamers. I mean, look - most of the Wii and DS games (including their online shops) are full of stuff that either nobody has heard of or cares about, or they're marketed torwards younger kids. (Especially with the DS.)

Oh, and not to mention that they hardly do any system updates, and when they do, there's hardly any new features. And then there's the fact that they're not supporting VC as much as they used to, which is a feature I've enjoyed so much on the Wii Shop Channel, and a feature I wish could come to the DSi in the form of Game Boy games. How can we enjoy games from the past when the DSi doesn't have a GBA slot anymore? Not to mention there's a lot of GB games I didn't play since I never owned the original GB/GBP.

That reminds me - last night, I saw a kid who had a DSi, playing with the Camera. That made me think things like "Does he have the latest firmware?". I'm pretty sure that most old people or kids don't know what the hell a firmware update is, nor do they know how to apply them. Why would nintendo do something like this that its younger audience don't know how to do?

2 more feats yet accomplished today in SO:SE:

    I beat Gabrellia Celesta.

I beat Gabriel, Limiter OFF, with only 2 people. Both of them at Lv. 177.

To me, that's amazing. Now, for Ms. Queen...

...However, I'm a bit mad about the ending.

Also, the truth has not been disclosed yet...? (hopes for SOBS localization)

Look at my banner (as of the date and time of this post). Now look at the boxes beside Precis. Notice how it says "PFN". Can anyone tell me what (I think) it stands for?

Just finished my Star Ocean 2 fanfic, called "The afterlives of Claude and Rena". No, they are not dead.

Here it is via Megaupload. You'll need Adobe Reader.

Please do let me know what you guys think!

Lots of crazy stuff has been happening to me lately...

    1. Street Fighter IV PC hasn't came in the mail YET...

    2. Until it does, I pretty much don't have much to do...

    3. Housing information for my college hasn't came yet...

    4. And neither has the Tales 10th Anniversiary Vol.2 OST from Namco Bandai (from that code that comes with Tales of Vesperia Special Edition)...

    5. I feel like I can't get Star Ocean EX out of my mind. I really want the DVDs, but I can only find the box set on Amazon. I'm also a bit upset because Blue Sphere isn't out here in English, and the fact that EX ends in a cliffhanger (even though I've played Second Evolution), not to mention the fact that I can't seem to find any text translations for the audio CDs...Grrr!!!!!!

Since it's close to the end of the preorder deal (July 11), I decided to go ahead and preorder both editions of Win 7. Though in the end I will either get one or probably cancel it altogether.
