Hey guys!

I have realized that I have not been talking about gaming on here too much. I will try and not bore you with my personal life from now on, though the occasional rant may pop up here and there!

So, gaming;

Finally beat Modern Warfare 2. What an epic ending! I thought the game was great! I thought that I took my time with it and enjoyed it, but after I was done, it only took me 5 hours and 40 minutes. Very short, but good none the less. I have seen that a few of you have finished it on veteran, well more power to you, I did it on normal and thought that at times it was a pain in the ass. Might try it one day, but for now I will focus on the MP and getting to 70. No I am not prestiging, I like the guns more than I like the "not so pretty" emblem. Sorry Jbul, not meaning to point you out or anything......

I have been very engrossed in both Assassins Creed II, and the God of War collection. The AC II is amazing. I am loving the quests and trying to find all the glyphs and find out what the hell the "Truth" is has become my motivation. I am liking the main story, but I really wanna know what is up with the wierd videos that are obviously out of order...

God of War II is God of War II. Its amazing and never gets old. I never unlocked all the treasures in the treasure room (no, not MJ's treasure room....).

With all this said, I have been neglecting Dragon Age: Origins. My buddy Jbulhas been getting into it (readhis blog) and has made myRPG craving get stirred up. I think that after AC II I will imediately move back to this game.

Of course, there is also finishing up Ratchet and Clank: Crack in Time, and Uncharted 2.

The new games that I mentioned in the last blog, hell they may never get played. Though one day I will probably put them in and play.....

I am going to check out Rogue Warrior from gamestop today. I am curious if this game is any good or not. Have not heard too much as of late. I will try it tonight and post about it tomorrow.

Michelle and I have been playing the New Super Mario Bros. Wii. Man its a pretty tough game! Michelle keeps getting pissed at me because I will go to get something at the same time she does, and she gets knocked into a pit of death or into a bad guy.... oops. Oh well, all is fair in love and war!

I think she hates me anyways, since she brought home an ENTIRE FREAKING SEASON OF FULL HOUSE AND SAVED BY THE BELL! Why?! WHY?!

So I got back to the real world today and now that I am back, I am missing it.

Thats what it looks like.... its awesome.

Had a good thanksgiving. It was nice getting away from everything and just hanging with the family. It was theraputic, so to speak.

Gamestop was nuts today! We are having a buy-2-used-get-1-free sale. We have some good used stuff, like CoD: MW2, Borderlands, Uncharted 2, and even a few New Super Mario Wii! It was packed most of the day, but I did manage to get a few cheap PS2 used games.

Heard this one was scary. I hope I like it. I also got the first one a few weeks ago, but have not tried it yet.

I have to admit, I have never played this game in my life. I am curious how good it is.......

Got this one free. Don't know how good it is but I was curious.

Anyways, I am starting the DLC for Borderlands, so I gotta jet.

Just wanna wish everyone a very happy thanksgiving! I know that not everyone on here celebrates this holiday, but still I give thanks to everyone that gives to us.

Well, there is not a whole lotto talk about. I have been bored as hell. I thought I packed my DS, but aparently I only paked the games.... doesn't do a lot of good.....

I do have me GBA SP. So I have been playing Castlevania: Circle of The Moon. It's an alright game, but whats the need for 23 pairs of cotton clothes?

I am also fighting two goddamn Dragon Zombies. TWO! I can't, umm, kill them. Oh well, tomorrow is thanksgiving, and then I have a 3 hour drive home.

My wife is watching Full house..... I hate my life sometines.

Well, I should get some sleep. I hope all of you have a safe and great thanksgiving. And if you do not celebrate it, just know that we Americans are going to over eat in your honor.... hehe, like we don't do that anyways....

Yeah. So my wife Michelle wants to go to the vaca house for thanksgiiving. I like it there enough, except its on top of a damn mountain and so there is no good internet, I mean I use my internet card for my laptop, but it does not get that good of a signal.

I hate taking my system out of the entertainment center too, its just a huge pain in the ass, so I will not be taking it with me......

I will have the DS, so not all is lost, but still..... no L4D2, no AC2, no MW2, nothing..........

Oh well, it will be a nice thanksgiving, and there will be plenty of football and beer, so not all is lost.

For insurance purposes, I have to take photos of all my gaming stuff ( I do it once a year, since the collection is continuously growing) sojust for the hell of it, I will post them on here. It should be up sometime this weekend. I will warn you though, it will be quite a few pics.

Anyways, I will talk to everyone later.

BTW, look guys, as you might know, I have over 900 friends on here, most of who I do not talk to, but I have over 100 that I try and keep up with. Also, as you all know, Gamespot only shows me the 5 most recentblog postings. As I try and read and comment on as many as possible, I am human and miss a few. Please do not send me messages condeming me because of my lack of activity on your blog post. Seriously, if you put something up and want me to read it, quickly shoot me a pm and I will happily read and comment.

I wish that you could click a button on certain peoples blogs so that they would be the ones that display, but until that happens, I will just do my best and keep up with everyone the best I can.

Yeah, it never fails. I get desperate and ask people for help, then sudenly someone steps up and hooks me up out of the blue.

After I dropped the blog yesterday, I went to my Gamestop, and talked to a buddy of mine that had not worked there the last couple of days. I let him know of my dilema, and suddenly he picks up the phone, makes ONE call, and tells me to go pick it up at the other gamestop in town.

That fast!

I guess who I know to go to when something like this happens!

So I work at Gamestop, I have been going to this gamestop for over 4 years now. It is not the closest gamestop to my house, but the employees there are so cool that I rather drive twice the distance to get the great service.

I preordered the collectors edition of Assassins Creed 2. I know I did. I cannot find the reciept for it, and I cannot prove it. Monday night I was told that I only got the regular edition and that there were not any extra CE's of the game.

I was devistated. It was heart-wrenching because I am such an AC fan.

But, I am willing to make a deal with someone that can help me.

If I can get someone to sell me the complete collectors edition of AC 2, I will GIVE them my regular copy of the game just to be nice. This way, you are getting money and a free game.

I know that this is not too kosher here on Gamespot, but I am desperate. I can't even find one on eBay!

Also, if you know of a gamestop that has some in stock, please please PLEASE let me know where you know of this, and I will be able to get it shipped to my store, and not to worry, I will make it worth your time, somehow.

I have a Wii. I have several games for the Wii. I turn on my Wii to update it so that the dumb blue light will stop pulsing at me.

Thats the only thing I have done with my Wii for a while.

I do not play my Wii. With all the crap that comes out for the system, I somethimes miss the good games.

I got the New Suer Mario Bros. for the Wii last night. My wife and I started playingit. Next thing I know, its 2:30 in the morning. This game is so fun! Its definately the diamond in the Wii rough.

If you do not have it, go get it! I have sold 3 systems just because of this game! If you like old school Mario with new upgraded twists, this is the game for you!

So I have been dealing with finals, buit I cannot wait till next week!

I was hyped for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. You know, that game that everyone plays?! Well, I have to admit, I am more excited for Assassin's Creed II!

I loved the first one! I really enjoyed assassinating people (yeah it sounds bad) but I really did. I loved just going into the village and taking out all the guards I could silently. It was fun for hours.

I do like MW2, its an epic game, but I own tons of shooters, and I will own tons more, but a game that you can be an assassin in? Don't have a ton of those.

So yes, I am more stoked on AC II than I was with MW2.

Oh yeah, the night vision goggles kick ass! I have been wearing them while typing this blog!

...okay not really, but I did run through 5 AA batteries already! Seriously!

Still too scared to try driving with them tho, may find a large vacant parking lot just to say that I did it. We will see.

Okay I gotta rant for a second. Did anyone see the MW2 review yet?!? What the hell man. Look, I know that everyone is entitled to an opinion, but your negatives should hold a little value when its you DAMN JOB to reviewa game!

So I can neither agree or disagree with the whole "campaign is short" part (I have not finished it yet) but to say that the story is "muddled and inelegant" is just a little absurd. Since when is war elegant?! I do not remember anything in Bosnia being freaking elegant! and fwho gives an S about plot when the games awesome to play?! Isn't that the whole reason that we play games, is because they are fun?!?! Not because they have a good plot! When did someone say "Hey man, try this game, its not too fun, but MAN that PLOT is superb!"

It'slike saying youdislike christmas because Santas suit is red..... who cares! Why hate on something because of something so irelivant!

Okay, whatever. I guess you can like it or hate it, but I tell you what, I have already played MW2 more than I have played Uncharted 2. That's gotta mean something, right?!

Have been playing Dragon Age: Origins. Can't tell whether or not I am happy with the game. The story is awesome, but the combat is just so-so right now. I have not died yet.

You know that old saying "Well, thats life." I hate that saying. I hate it with a passion.

So to keep this complaining to a minimum, I will be quick. My Halloween was ruined, but it was for the best. First off, Thursday I ordered my Gorilla suit. It was perfect! Unfortunately, it never effing came to the costume store! Yeah, the guy there assured me that it would be there by Friday, the next day. I went there to pick it up, and he was like "what gorilla suit?" I thought he was joking, but he was not. Aparently he forgot to order it from the other store, that was 4 hours away. They don't ship on weekends, and that includes friday nights. I was super super pissed. Then Satueday morning, at like 3 a.m. Michelle gets really sick and I take her to the doctor. This rendered me to stay home the entire weekend.......

I was really mad about the gorilla suit, but to be honest it was for the best.

Oh well, thats life.

Ugh.....

I picked up Dragon Age: Origins CE today. They were not selling the CE at Gamestop (I have no idea why) so I pre-ordered it at BestBuy and got the Dragon Blood Armor. I can't wait to play it! I saw the review for it on here, but I quit listening to other peoples opinions a loooooonng time ago.

I really wish that it had MP. People keep telling me that Bioware does not do MP, but I swear that Baulders Gate II was local MP. Oh well, I will still enjoy the hell out of it!

I have to have some fun with it, since Modern Warfare 2 comes out NEXT WEEK!

Then there is Assassins Creed II, which I am very stoked for, hell I might even be more stoked for that than I am MW 2!

Hey guys!

I have a small rant. It will not take as long as some of my others, but upsets me equally.

I have been playing video games for over 20 years. I love all styles of gaming. One style that I really like are the fighting games. There is nothing better than beating an S-talker to a bloody pixeled pulp while he whines that you were just mashing buttons. I LOVE IT!

So when I got my hands on Tekken 6I was excited! I could not wait to use the wireless fight stick to whip some ass!

Well, I have been really busy this week and was not able to touch it, until last night. So I open the box with a couple of friends and we were all ready to play! I popped it in and grabbed the rechargeable battery pack for the fight stick. Oh, wait, what? It only allows for 2-AA batteries?! Oh well. I get two batteries and get it set up and start to play. I am selecting characters and I am finding it difficult to move left and right. Like I move the selector left, but instead it moved down. I think nothing of it at the moment and begin to play.

The first couple of fights I kicked major ass. Lei is one of my favorite fighters, and I am pretty damn good with him. But I begin to notice that somethings really wrong with the game. It looks like crap! The graphics are cheap and disapointing! I mean, I play MP with my buds, and I am Jack and ones the Robot assassin chick, I notice that the wings on her back just grow out. It doesn't sound so bad, but looks like effing crap! Then Jack wins, and he flies off, but there is no animation! Its like he just floats away! Wheres the rockets? Wheres the animation? WHAT THE HELL AM I PLAYING?!

Now, I realize that its not that huge of a deal, but it is to me. I paid $150 bucks for this thing, and they can't even allow for the battery pack on the controller? WTFF?!? Then, the graphics actually look WORSE than Tekken 5 (we compared them to the PS3 DL Tekken 5 Online)?!?! I will not be buying a Tekken game in the future for sure!

So that took a little longer than I wanted. Oh well.

So I beat Borderlands. The game is SICK! Its such a fun game to play! BUT, the ending is crap. I mean its like they ran out of time, and just finished it. Whatever tho, I quit playing games for the stories a long time ago. I am still playing it and still having a blast!

Uncharted 2 is awesome. Big game, not too far yet. Will work on it later. Also been playing A Crack in Time. I love the Ratchet games, and this is just another exellent addition to the franchise! Great game! Check it out for sure!

Heard about this game called Torchlight?! I played it at PAX and thought it was a solid game. Sad that its a sinlge playing dungeon crawler, but I am still gonna get it.

Can't wait till Dragon Age: Origins comes out! Watched a trailer for it, and it was AWESOME!

All the holidays! Halloween, THanksgiving, and Christmas/New Years!

I love Christmas. I love putting up a tree and turning on the lights for the first time. I love giving my wife gifts. She has been playing Professor Layton and The Diabolical Boxand she loves it. So I am getting her a DS for Christmas. She needs her own, cause I like mine, and have not been able to play it for a while now!

Halloween is always fun. I usually dress up and go out to several parties. This year however, I am just going to one. We are throwing a house party, and my friends that have a band are going to play at it. Its gonna be awesome!

I picked up my copy of Tekken 6 last night, as well as the new Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack In Time.

I have not played either one, but I did get the LE Tekken 6 with the wireless fight stick. I opened it and it was surprisingly light, but its very well built! I can't wait to use it!

I am still pricing cameras. I want a camera/camcorder combo.

Well, off to school.

Oh yeah, in case you do did not know, BORDERLANDS IS AWESOME!

Very short blog. Just a heads up.

So yeah, I got home last night after the midnight launch of both Brutal Legend and Uncharted 2 and immediately fired up Brutal Legend.

At around 4 a.m. I realized how late it was, and that I had a Dr's Appt. at 8 a.m. Yeah I loved the game that much.

So much that I decided to write a quick review of what I experienced.

So I got up on Saturday with a vision. This vision was to have another picture blog be as much enjoyed, if not more, as the last. So with determination I focused on the story and how the camera would angle and all, and got after it. I spent at least 4 hours just getting the pictures, but then there wasa problem.....

With my digital camera, I used to take a picture, and then look in the window to see how it looked. But I have been using this camera for a while now (3+ years) so I don't ever look at the pics. I set the preview window to like 1 second, so that I can take more pictures faster. I will take like 5 pics of one scene, then when I am done I will look at all the pics of each scene and pic the best one. Standard stuff.

Well, I did all this and went to the computer and loaded the pics, and to my surprise, they were all distorted and scattered. I think that my digital camera has taken its last pic **tears up**. I loved that camera, its been all over the country with me. It's taken thousands of pictures and always been very reliable, but I think that something in the digital process in the camera has pooped out......

So, I will regretably have to redo the whole thing, since it happened with every picture I took. So there will be a short wait.

So, I am really busy with school. Making a working demo game in 10 weeks, by yourself, is very tedious, but you need to take a break every once in a while, so I thought that I would use my break time to conduct a follow-up to a blog that I did that I guess was pretty popular.

So with that said, I figured that I would repost the old blog, so that the newer one would make sense.

The rain was comforting today.

Xbox 360 the Fourths funeral was held yesterday, November 20th in our home.

It was a lovely funeral.

Master Chief did the Eulogy. He did a great job.

Many systems showed up for the funeral. Some couldn't make it, but sent their condolences.

Some took the passing harder than others. Echochrome was having a hard time keeping his composure.

When the service was over, everyone lined up to give their final goodbyes. Master Chief was there to give support.

Even though the system wars rage on, when a system passes, for a moment the wars stop, and soldiers give peace to even their most sworn enemies. It's all about respect.

Master Chief was strong and supportive the entire funeral, but when all systems said their final goodbyes and left, Master Chief couldn't keep his composure any longer.

For a moment he felt alone. Who would comfort him? Then he felt a pat on his shoulder. It was Echochrome there to help him.

Master Chief gave his goodbyes and pulled himself together. As they were about to leave, they were surprised with an unexpected guest. It was Xbox 360's biological father, Xbox.

Master Chief and Echochrome stuck around as Xbox gave his respects to his son.

The body of Xbox 360 was sent to his maker today at 9:24 a.m. He will be missed.

It was a very nice funeral. Thanks to all the attendees including R.O.B, Neo-Geo Pocket, Gameboy, Virtuaboy, PS3 and Wii to name a few.

Thanks to my wife, who let me use her wilted flowers.

I know that I am complaining too much lately, but I have to get this off my chest.

I got up this morning and was in a very good mood. I was thinking about all the good things that were going to happen today. For instance I was thinking how glad I am that I am staying caught up in a class that last term, out of 15 people, 3 passed. Theres a reason that its called Advanced Game Design....

But that all changed when I went to check my email.

On the front of the Yahoo! page there was an article posted that some colors on the Empire State Building were causing an uproar. I did not know why so I went to the page to check it out.

Man, sometimes we Americans seem so egotistical.

People are mad because we are paying tribute to the 60 years that China has been a communist country. Well, I guess it was worse before but heres the thing.

I do not agree with how communism works, butI know that just because I am a US citizen that I should go overseas and tell them how to run their country. Dammit this pisses me off! Who the hell do we think we are?! Unless the citizens are begging for help (like in the first gulf war) then we should try and help them, but if everything is fine, then we should not run around bullying other countries just because we do not agree with what they are doing, like this war we are in now!

I see this tribute on the Empire State Building as a good thing. What we Americans need most in this world right now are allies. If you guys have not noticed, we do not have many friends right now, and being in the military and seeing what goes on all over the world, that little fact scares the hell out of me!

Okay enough of that.

Also, I got a chuckle out of something that Gamespot did. So this is the quote that Gamespot gave for Ninja Gaiden Sigma II:

"This enhanced version of Ninja Gaiden II is bigger, better, and more exhilarating."

Hehe, thats fine. But then I did a little research and this is what I saw;

Ninja Gaiden Sigma Review Score = 9.0

Ninja Gaiden Sigma II score = 8.5

Well, if it is "bigger, better, and more exhilarating" then why did it get a lower score?

I thought it was funny.

Hey guys!

Man, this school quarter has been fun, but HARD! I have been working diligently on my 3D model. This quarter I have to create, animate, and demo a game demo. MAKE A GAME DEMO IN 10 WEEKS?!?! Yeah its that hard......

Oh yeah, and the main character has to be realistic, which is no easy task, AND it has to be a Shadow Complex style game. Damn.....

Aion.

I was talking to a buddy while I was working the ODST launch party and he was talking about this game. So, being a MMORPG fan, I decided to go ahead and pick it up. The collectors edition of course.

When I installed it and began playing it, I thought it looked a bit like the Lord of The Rings MMO, which I liked but it was a bit slow. But soon after playing it I realized that I was really engrossed in the story and gameplay! It's a lot like WoW, and some stuffcould be questionable,such as an enemy called Kobalds (sp?), and they have a strip mine. Please, if that is not a ripoff, then nothing is! It's little subtle things such as that I chuckle about. Overall, if you are a WoW enjoyer and do not mind grinding levels and questing (which is what I like to do) then try this game out. It doesnt require a super computer to play, but if you want it to be full specs, then you will need a decent rig, since it is powered by the Crytek engine.

Man, some people in this world just piss me off!

**BEGIN RANT MODE**

So I have been going to a friends apartment to study with him. I live about half an hour away, and every day on my way to his house I am greated with very offensive drivers that live life to screw with me. Example: on the highway between my house and his there is a spot that is 70 mph. I usually set the cruise control to 75, and I still have people riding my ass, instead of just going around me (its a freaking 6 lane highway!). There will also be 75-100 feet behind me at an exit, and maybe 5-10 feet in front of me at the exit to his house. Instead of merging in the HUGE space right behind me, stupid D-Bag will cut me off and swerve into the 10 feet of space in front of my car, usually followed by a hard brake and slow speed, that I now have to sit behind!!!

Damn you to hell. I hope you go to hell and DIE!

Since when did it become cool to not care about anyone other than yourself?! Did I not get the email about this? I have also noticed signs of this while we are studying. I will explain.

So my friend doesnt have internets at his house (how can one live?!?) and so we have to go to the Mall thats right across the street from his apartment. In the mall there is a library where you can use the Wi-Fi. Its range unfortunately does not reach his house, so we muct go there. Well, I hate sitting in the Library. Mainly because I feel that I am not allowed to talk, and I love to talk. I am a regular chatter box.

Well, instead we sit in the food court, which is right outside the Library. There are a lot of tables and chairs there. These are the mindless things that I have noticed in the Mall while studying. Some of them are pretty disturbing.

1. One day it was busy and there were lots of people in the food court. There were, however, plenty of places to sit. Infortunately there were only a couple of four-person tables. The two person tables are two small for both of our laptops, so we require a four person table. We go to sit at the clean four person table and then some guy (one guy) swoops in and takes the table. He was by himself with his food. RIGHT NEXT TO HIM WAS A CLEAN TWO PERSON TABLE! I go up and ask him if we could have the table because of our computer and such and he looks at me with a puzzled look and proceds to look around the room, like he was looking for somewhere for us to sit. He then looks at me and says "I'll be done in a minute." I stared at him with a glare that I think made him eat a leave a little faster. I mean, how hard would it be to get your fat ass up and move 3 feet to the two person table right next door.Stupid jerk......

2. about 3 weeks ago it was pretty hot outside. Well, for us in the Seattle area it was hot (85 degrees) and we were inside studying. These two girls walked by, probably 17 or so (highschool) and they were wearing nothing but a bikini. I swear. Well my friend was looking at them and was like "Dude, what parent lets their kid walk around like that?" As I turned to look, their mom walked up to them, noticed us looking at them, and just gave us the dirtiest look. What the hell?! If you don't want people staring at your daughter, make them put some damn clothes on them! Stupid jerk.....

3. We were in there just the other day, and there was a woman sittingnext to us. She was on the phone. Since it is the food court, and its pretty loud, we didn't mind. What we did mind was the extremely foul language that she was YELLING WHILE SHE WAS ON THE PHONE. IT WAS NOT LIKE SHE WAS MAD OR UPSET AND YELLING, SHE WAS JUST A LOUD TALKER WITH A VERY BAD MOUTH. THERE WERE PARENTS THAT WERE GIVING HER LOOKS, AND SHE SAW ONE WOMAN LOOKING AT HER AND THE LOUD TALKER TURNED TO HER AND SAID "WHAT THE **** ARE YOU STARING AT *****?" REALLY LOUD! SHE WAS SAYING THIS TO A MOM THAT WAS FEEDING HER TODDLER SOME FOOD. STUPID JERK.....

It was like she was talking with the damn CAPS Lock on. Yeah it was that annoying.

Look, I could go on all day about instances like this, because it happens everytime we are there, but I think that I have made my point, and that is that if we do not change how we treat eachother, the entire world is going to look at the US like we are a bunch of immature, careless, unintelligent fools with no sense of humanity whatsoever. We already have a bad enough rap as it is......

Of course I know that this goes on all over the world, but the way I see things, we need to correct ourselves before we chime in on anyone else.

I played the Brutal Legend demo, and I gotta say it ROCKS! It was so damn fun! Definately DL it and play it. The voice acting isspot on and very funny!

Hey guys, first off thanks to all that wished me a Happy Birthday! To those who did not, go to hell.

Just kidding! No worries.

Today I reached level 35 on here, and 35K in Gamerscore. Wierd huh?

My first day at Gamestop is tonight. I get to kick off my second job by working the ODST midnight launch. I am excited! For both the game and the work! I am already friends with all of the staff on a personal level, so the atmosphere will be great!

I have been reading my Physical Anthropoloy book and am bored as hell. I mean, I am interested in the theories and facts of evolution, but the technical terms that I have to remember and stufff like that is boring and hard!

Have been playing Wolfenstein. I gotta say, its a pretty good game. You should at least rent it and check it out. The multiplayer is fun, if there were other people playing it. I got on 3 different nights to play MP, and the same 5 people were the only people I played with, all 3 nights....

Why is it that I remember Sonic and Knuckles being a fun SEGA game, but I DL'd it and it is not fun on XBLA.... not to me at least.
