Remember...I'm a Twitter guy now.
Yep, since around March 2007, I have been using Twitter. If you are on Twitter, follow me if you want and let me know your username, so I can follow back. We can @ each other all night long! Tweeting is the cool, cool. At least in my world. It's the usual name...Thorpe without the 89 = twitter.com/Thorpe.
That's where you'll catch my recent "entries" and I'll continue to use GameSpot blogs to make a post every now and then. Happy tweeting, GameSpotting all.

Happy new decade.
A new year, a new decade. I wish all of you the best for 2010 and beyond. May your dreams become reality one day (well, if they're realistic enough) and may your video games bring more joy and frustration. What? Well, come on...you can't go a year without getting frustrated at a video game...it's just impossible. Overall though - more quality over quantity (I'm pointing the finger at a few franchises, which I won't shame).
I watched The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe (longest title ever?) for the first time in late December. I went in thinking this was going to be a typical Disney adventure movie but was very much surprised at how it sucked me into the magical, epic world of Narnia created by C.S. Lewis - I felt apart of it for two hours. Disney can still do amazing movies. I've not seen the sequel yet but I've heard it's going downhill from there.
All the characters were great. Especially Liam Neeson as Aslan - such a powerful but soothing voice. Tilda Swinton was the ideal choice for the White Witch. If I could relate to one character, I'd say Edmund purely because I'm one for going off and doing things my way, even though I may regret it. I seem to enter a situation every now and then to only learn what I has happened after the damage has been done.
The soundtrack is one of the high points and purely outstanding work from Harry Gregson-Williams (Call of Duty 4, Metal Gear Solid 4, Shrek). Seems this is one of his most popular works when I look at his Last.fm page. Purely epic (it has to be) music plays during the battle scene. I've been playing that piece so much this new year...it's just crazy. 700,000 views this track alone has on YouTube...and that's rather good for a film score. I need sleep I just realised. So I'll leave you with this...
