  Cheese anyone?

  Would you like some cheese with that whine? I really don't get it, maybe I'm retarded or something but, what is the fascination with playing a game while complaining and moaning about it. Take Halo for instance, in the Halo 3 news items you see many a person who are complaining about how the multiplayer of Halo 2 turned out....

  I remember a little game called Joint OPs for the PC, you could have up to 150 people on a map. The game was intense, at first... Then people started in with the hacks like unlimited zoom, zoom with things like a mounted .50 cal on a jeep. No reload on weapons, or vehicles like tanks. They had punkbuster instituted, however the hacks would find ways to hide. Playing on a non-punkbuster server was an exercise in futility. Playing on one with it was hit or miss, but mostly a miss. And it started to suck real bad, but instead of complaining and whinning like a spoiled child who thinks they should get whatever the moan about the loudest. I just stopped playing the game, sure I was disappointed, but not playing it made more sense.

  I believe that people actually get off on whining all the time, they are just your digital drama queens. People like this go out of their way to find drama wherever they can. This is done for numerous reasons, such as, enjoying playing the part of a victim, making themselves seem more important by pointing out every single negative issue about a game, maybe even because they have a bit of mashocist in them. Who really knows?

  My point in all of this is that when you start playing a game, map, or what have you. A team of ninjas do not come storming your house just to ensure you continue to play the game or map. Don't like what's going on in a map? LEAVE!!!!!! All maps the same? QUIT playing the game!!!!! For is a game not the sum of it's total parts? If the multiplayer blows it blows! Single player any good? Then play that..... Maybe if we all were a little more grown up about this it would send a message to the devs, find better ways to even the playing fields. When people stop playing, and buying a game it tends to send a message.....

  That's all, just needed to vent a bit, if you read this you must've been bored too. If you agree with what I've had to say, good for you. Disagree with what I've said, good for you too. Remember folks you are your own person, whether you whine or not.......
